    You are the only reactors, I've seen, that acknowledge that it was wrong of Sansa to tell (especially) Tyrion, after Jon seriously asked her not to, and also then for him to tell Varys. You're also one of the only ones to call out Vayrs' very much unhelpful actions here. Thank you for also acknowledging Dany's perspective and that it does seem like people suddenly don't like her. Well let's get these last two eps over✌️✌️I can't wait for HotD🔥🔥

      i stopped trying to understand Sansa from the moment they decided to not give any proper reasoning as to why she hid the knights of the vale from Jon. Its pointless, they change her characterization episode to episode.. Theres zero consistency and very little concrete motivations to her actions.

    The funny thing is I'm like 99% sure if Dany had said the North can be an independent kingdom, Sansa wouldn't have told Tyrion but she reaffirmed that she's taking back ALL 7 kingdoms so what does Sansa do? Cause a succession crisis with the head of House Stark (and the North) as a direct competitor which could keep the North independent while it gets sorted out.
    Sansa wouldn't have ever liked Danaerys but she would not have snitched if her family and people could rule themselves while Danaerys got the 6 other kingdoms because a Targaryen she doesn't know being the sovereign of her home kingdom could (in her mind) put her family in danger of losing it all again. I'm standing by my sister Sansa here, plus she ended up being right about how Danaerys would react to threats to her claim

    When I watched this again, I realized that Sansa may be the reason Daenerys was pushed to burn the city. Had Sansa honored Jon's request, maybe Daenerys doesn't feel so alone when grieving, and maybe that makes her stand down when the bells toll.

    Have u noticed how the Starks' mentality have become (only us)? Like the Lannisters & they were despised for it by the fandom but not the Starks,
    Notice how they're also entitled to the seat of north, but when Dany is entitled to the throne that her house built she's blamed for it.
    I mean for e.g. look at Arya w this (not if they loose their heads 1st-I don't trust her she's not 1 of us.... ) she has become 1 dimensional creepy vengeful ninja assassin & Sansa (I would remind u that house glover has pledged to house stark... )cold, mean,
    & Sansa's ungrateful nature ,says Arya killed the night king, she has no regards for other's sacrifices & "not only w Dany" , or in S7 she was like.. The victory was cuz of me I called the knights of the vale, no regard to Jon or others sacrifice, her whole attitude being cersei's cheap copy,
    & Bran... being bran.

    • @starsimvidz
      @starsimvidz 6 місяців тому +1

      The Starks "only us" mentality only exists to facilitate Dany's arc. It feels like a slow/steady rewrite of their characters for the sake of plot... Its like Tyrion suddenly becoming brain-dead.
      Like imagine wanted to succeed from an entire kingdom because the queen "is not one of us.." Like wtf is this shit. It makes no sense. Imagine if Catelyn had just been weirdly hostile to Cersei in season 1.. She would've had her tongue cut out...

    The show continued to give the vibe through dialogue that everyone wants Jon on the throne... Through varys, through Dany when she said I've seen the way they looked at u... Like girl.. It's the north only, it was Tormund praising him, it's the wildlings, even though northern lords in s7 were like perhaps we were wrong to chose him,
    There are millions of people down south in the rest of 6 kingdoms & islands of westorous, only voices of north counts I didn't know?
    Varys the hypocrite, Dany hadn't done anything wrong yet, yet he chose to betray her, over the course of months of knowing Jon he decided he's better, who the hell are u to make the decision to whether him & Dany should marry or not? Have u asked them?
    & no the" best ruler isn't some1 that doesn't want to rule "u had Robert as an e.g. already he didn't want to rule

      I think the book did a better job of illustrating how crazy Dany was. But even in the show, she constantly snapped at people and talked about killing and murdering but had to be talked out of it by her advisers. Varys in the show, on several occasions, seems concerned about her first inclinations. Jon is her foil as a character, and never did he once talk any slaughtering masses of people. Neither in the book or on the show. He constantly wanted to stitch together armies through the gravity of the situation at hand, and he did it honorably, through honesty and merit. Dany’s first acquisition of a significant amount of men was done through guile and murder. Though they were slave owners, that wasn’t a move Jora or Selmy would have approved of if she told them. That’s why she didn’t tell them.
      But again, Dany always showed the signs of being cut throat. She needed good council to be talked out of it. And that good council is gone.

      @@VonJay I was talking abt varys & the show being hypocrisy not madness but ok let's talk abt this ;
      😂Actually the 1st book is enough to make u realize madness goes nowhere near Dany, her & jon are literally only candidates of prophecized hero, people tend to not realize unlike their fav. Characters they compare Dany to, Dany never had people teach her abt politics or deal w things or how the world is, she had look on her own, she never had a childhood, she was a child bride slave, abused by her brother,still found it in her heart to be compassionate & when she got some power in her hands she decides to use it to prevent others from going through what she went through, George literally said Dany & her dragons are the fire of (a song of ice and fire),while the show portrayed her more cold & confident still that doesn't make sense, it's so pathetic the way some of u are obsessed w the idea of her going mad.. out of everyone, her?
      Having a temper is part of some people's personality even in real life that's not a sign of madness wtf?&when u compare her w others, compare their situation & environment too, do u know what kind of people she's dealing with? SLAVERS, those that she crucified weren't innocent even if they didn't directly participate in those children's crucification, she just should have put a trial & maybe ordered killing less, so that her enemies wouldn't use it against her, actually she was more patient w them than she should have been

      @VonJay 6 місяців тому

      @@laza0202 you were talking about Varys and I addressed Varys. I said he, like many of her other council members, had to talk her out of being cut throat on various occasions. Something people never had to do with Jon. He was never inclined to do such things and never had those types of outbursts.
      “having a temper is part of someone’s personality” yet she straight up murdered droves of people and robbed them of the army they were trying to sell to her. Sure they were slavers, but the action isn’t something Jon would do. That is why I said Jon is her foil. He never has those types of outbursts. Dany does all through out the books. She talks about burning and murdering droves of people. And YES it has to do with her background. Just like it has to do with Jon’s background and who his father as in Ned is. That still doesn’t mean that her actions and thoughts were balanced and just. And SO MANY OCCASIONS her council had to convince her NOT TO murder people. While Jon was the one who advised others better ways to handle conflicts.
      It’s much worse in the books than it is in the show for Dany. Her POV chapters give insight to her mental state and what she covets. As do all the other pov chapters. But when it comes to her FOIL in Jon, they have starkly different musings on how to deal people.
      So Varys didn’t betray anyone. He saw who Dany was and acted in the interest of the “realm,” as he told her he would. There’s no one on in the GOT universe that had similar inclinations and outbursts like Dany. The only other person I’d assume would do such a thing is Ramsey but I think he’d have more fun torturing people than saying that he’s going to burn all of king’s landing or “break the wheel” as she suggested she would burn it all down to change society.

    • @VonJay
      @VonJay 6 місяців тому

      @@laza0202 every human being has all sorts of thoughts. But they find a way to balance them. In the books, if Dany wasn’t advertised as a hero, her thoughts would be in line with Joff and Ramsey. She kills more people than Joffrey before she gets king’s landing. And that is against the advice of her council. She also kills the people who are selling her an army. She does this without informing her council because she knows they’d stop her. Tyrion had crazy thoughts, but he had good thoughts within himself to balance out the bad ones. Dany’s positive thoughts from her pov in the books come from council, and not from herself.

    It's unfortunate that this wonderful series essentially ended here, in this episode... The plot doesn't make sense, the Starks seem clueless about what they're saying and doing, Jon and Tyrion are completely useless, and of course, the ultimate destruction of a character we loved, Daenerys Targaryen... The writers must have been drinking too much when they wrote the 8th season... it absolutely makes no sense... Arya says she doesn't want alliances while a minute before she said she needed Daenerys. Sansa has turned into a Cersei with Ned's clothing, Tyrion gets everything wrong, and then we wonder why they had this development in the last two episodes!!! What a shame... Lady Olenna was right from the beginning... if Daenerys had done what she wanted without listening to the idiot Tyrion, everything would have been positioned correctly... but no... let's give a good finale for the Starks... I laugh out loud

What was the use of that in the script? In the fact that Arya sees murderers (you know what I mean) but she herself went to an assassin's school? In general, whatever the Starks do is morally right, and whatever the others do is wrong. However, the world understood how wrong the finale was, and this is evidenced by the fact that nobody hates Daenerys... The character development was for Theon... or Jaime... but for Daenerys, it was a disaster!!!"

    I‘m not gonna defend Walder Frey… but saying he betrayed Robb only for Robb not marrying one of his daughters is a far stretch!
    In book and show, Robb became the loosing side in the war with Renly‘s assassination, Stannis loosing the battle of the Blackwater and the Ironborn occupying half of the North.
    The Lannister-Tyrell alliance was winning the war for sure… Lord Walder did what any sane Lord with a foot in both doorsteps would do (let’s not forget his second oldest son was married to Tywin‘s sister)… choose the winning side!
    Of course the way of the betrayal is wrong and so awful and unforgivable, but they should have expected a betrayal by him (what they kind of did in the books… just not how awful it would turn out to be)

    Guys, i hated Jon not giving Ghost a proper goodbye too (Whether it was to save money & to foreshadow it's not bye for long) Jon can't be blamed for any of it. Jon not petting Ghost in awhile, that's all on the writers who let Ghost down. Ghost deserved so much better and Jon also, because he has always been a great father to Ghost & always saw him as MORE than just a Pet or wild animal. Hence why Jon let Ghost freely wonder and explore like Nymeria.
    Ghost is just like Jon, who also wanted to be going north of the wall with the free folk remember. Just like Arya is like Nymeria, no desire or ambition to be a Lady/domesticated. Arya has never been like that, she's always known herself from a young age. Like she said so to Ned & Nymeria "No, thats not me"... " That's not you"
    Jon has also wanted Ghost to remain with him when he went off north but Ghost wandered off on his own despite Jon calling him to stay with him & few rangers he was with b4 meeting Ygritte. Jon sending Ghost with Tormund in true north was for GHOSTS benefit guys, Jon just being his usual selfless self again. Jon put his Direwolfs happiness & protection first, taking him South would be dangerous & for Jon's selfish desire to keep his furry loved one close, but that's just not Jon lol.
    Also, does anyone else notice in this episode how Jon could've saved Rhaegals life? During the war council/meeting, I noticed Jon step forward❤ to move Rhaegal's dragon token piece on the war table to him & his people (Jon basically attempted to keep Rhaegal with him, to fly back slowly with his Northern army.)
    Also, ur girlfriend got bit confused about where Rhaegal & army was attacked. She thinks it was at King's landing when it was at Dragonstone.
    Varys was NEVER about himself at all, u clearly don't know character if you believe that lol, to be fair Varys didn't just switch quickly either, he caught on to Dany back at Winterfell & has always been loyal to the Realm. Varys also kept his promise to Dany by comfronting her about her plan and telling her it's a mistake (Dany admiting she'll do anything, no matter the cost, is exactly why she too is a tyrant)
