The game runs really bad, it's still on a 32bit engine made for Windows XP. You really feel it being clunky and laggy in the interface and especially in PvP and PvE. Frames drop like crazy adding further to the frustration. Not the mention the lootboxes in the ingame shop. The story is great and definitely worth playing for... it's just that it is so obvious that EA is never going to commit to this game ever, it has the tiniest dev team and chances of it going anywhere in the future are none. Tons bugs, glitches and exploits are still present since the very launch of the game and are never going to get fixed.
I logged in today for first time since 3 months after release. All my lvl 50s are still there lol no idea how to play any more so will start a new chatacter.
I have always liked SWTOR. I truly wish they would figure out how to put more resources into it and create more class stories and new 'full expansions'. There's a lot of story they could write for this game.
The thing that makes SWTOR better than almost all mmos is the story, your character actually has a voice, you can develop relationships with characters, it honestly feels like a single player game, which is so cool
That is the problem tho it is not a single player it is supposed to be a MMO only thing apart from story is the PvP mechanics that bring me back to the game as there is nothing else like it apart from WoW, but I give it maybe another year and it will be gone it is already loosing players now and the community is very small.

True endgame world pvp was amazing back before 1.7. Ilum was the place to go for a fun valor grind, and it really gave credit to the idea of fighting for your faction. Sadly that was gutted a long long LONG time ago. Still to this say remains one of the most fun experiences of my gaming life.
How long ago was that?? I played SWTOR back when it first came out for a good solid year. Then I've played it since here and there but never really delved deep into it like I have with WoW. I'm thinking of coming back to it and giving it another chance.
I've came back to swtor after playing it up on release ( I think 2011 ), and a few months return back about 4 years ago. This time my son started playing, and we've had the best times. We are both WoW players and while I like it, swtor is just an awesome experience IMHO. It's well worth playing. The stories make you feel like you're playing in an actual movie at times. I feel absolutely no grind in this game, like we both feel with WoW. We actually get to play for the enjoyment of playing, and feel no pressures about having to do dailies, or certain raids for certain gear which turns into a job, instead of an enjoyable experience.
@@lupercalrising2208 yeah I joined a guild 2 days ago, its very active I think. Obviously not WoW population, but still a ton of people running around doin quests, I didnt want to join a Guild first or second day back on, but I ended up doing it and I've been having more fun this time around because I can ask guild members questions If im confused about something. It's a relaxing game for me and I enjoy the story lines, but this time around I will max my character and try end game OPS.
As a solo player, i was skeptical about trying SWTOR, because ive never played a MMO before. Coming off Lego Star Wars The Skywalker Saga and Jedi Survivor, i was really looking for another star wars game to continue scratching that itch. I was gonna play The Force Unleashed again but i saw this was f2p, set in the old republic era and able to be played solo so i decided to give it a go even tho im not generally a fan of MMOs. I can happily say im addicted. Its still pretty overwhelming because i basically have no idea what im doing beyond combat, quests and equipping items. If you are mainly a solo player, i still recommend this game. The gameplay itself probably isnt for anyone because it has that MMO style mechanics, but i have to say im having way more fun than i thought and the combat is surpsigingly satisfying. And the Old Republic era is still so incredibly cool.
This has to be the most cohesive SWTOR breakdown video i've seen in a long time. Good video. I would have added a lot more about the Dev team and how they treat the game as this informs the players more realistically on what to expect from the people running the game. However, this was more than enough to inform a new player. Choose your MMO with caution and don't get addicted to opening packs. Stay safe kids.
Thanks, glad you liked it! Yeah I thought about mentioning some of those talking points but frankly I'm not very knowledgeable on the dev team and the communities issues with them. I never played the game intensely enough to keep up with all that. Now that its become my main mmo I'll likely pick up on those conversations more, so maybe in the 2024 I'll be well versed enough to have something to say on that front lol.
Great video! I agree with most of your points and I'm always glad to see another channel try to bring new people to the game! A little note on the toxic players, there is no reason to keep seeing them. Just right click on their username and you can ignore their entire legacy (meaning even their alts) and you never have to read their messages again :)
I started playing swtor back in 2014. I was playing it almost religiously up until 2017 or so. I have been a fervent gamer my whole life, but I had never before played a game consistently for so long. This game has something special. I am sure other MMO's might be 'better', but this game has a real unique feeling to it. Like others said, the stories and RPG elements are simply the best you will find anywhere. The atmosphere is so excellent, you truly feel like you LIVE in the Old Republic. I sometimes even come back to this game just to experience that feeling again.
I really hope the modernization that is coming will breathe more life into the game, even though i've played WOW the longest, Swtor is the MMORPG i have used the most consecutive time on.
I played religiously when the game came out, and for several years after. My gaming group broke up, life / kids happen, and I put it away something like 7 years ago. I still would update and log in once in a while, but after hitting about lvl 63 on my main, couldn't find the motivation anymore. BUT, your breakdown of the Cosmetics system as it stands right now... by FAR AND AWAY different from what I last saw. I may just have to update and log in again to take a look around! 😁
So my biggest problem with the cosmetics in the cash shop isn't the outfits or weapon skins, that's all fine... it's locking things like "hide head slot" and "unify colors" behind needing to purchase them.... to me locking very basic functionality behind the cash shop feels extra scummy.
Havoc Squad reporting in! As a new player, this game ROCKS. Currently level 55 and while I’m totally overwhelmed by a lot of the systems, it’s so much fun!
I’m glad when it released, I was lucky enough to play it; especially for the fact of PVP world, I use to love battering Jedi’s on my route to missions lol I really felt like I was doing my bit for the Empire, ngl I hate PVE world for the fact seeing a Jedi in the planet but “story phase” you just slaughtered one!? Also I totally miss hybrid spec trees, and buying a revan set for 2m 😂
I came back after about 7 years recently and I love it so far! I played on launch and then religiously for a few years after. Having a lot of fun doing PVP and playing through some missions. Haven't done a ton of flashpoints or heroics yet though, hoping to get into that again soon!
As someone who has played extensively, it’s a great game and still very active. I know most won’t agree but my favorite storyline is being a light leaning sith warrior
You can actually set up a security key and get 100 cartel coins every month. I am just hoping back in the game in a few years and now have 4440 cartel coins haha
Such a fun game, the story is top tier and theres something for everyone. Is so close to be a perfect game with a player base large enough to last another decade but sadly the devs just seem to never be on the same page with the community and it doesnt feel like they are trying to, maybe since this is the only remaining non disney star wars active IP today and if your a sw fan you know what that changes in terms of narrative/lore. Overall 9/10+awesome community.
I returned to the game either in 2020 or 2021 and after seeing all the changes between the first time and returning I decided to delete all my old characters because as a new character I had made to help a streamer through their story on a different server was level 20 with higher ranked armor and significantly more progress on their companion influence than my max level with artifact armor I had before. It's been made much easier to level up even without a sub and most of the game felt like a cakewalk compared to what I faced originally. but the jump puzzles and their maker can still go burn DX On the topic of jump puzzles, while I've helped a couple people through them there have been dozens of times I've been trying to complete them to get the stat increase items and someone really good at them happens to see me doing it then either have a character that can pull/push me to the right spot or calls over a player from their guild that can help. We all collectively hate them and help each other when we can. It's one of the best ways to make friends in game from what I've experienced. XD
Wish more people played Swtor and that the pvp over all was more bursty.. hate how it requires 3 people to kill one person in a timley manner. Also would love world pvp too
I bought this game when it came out back in the day, didn't even know it was an mmo till it asked for a sub fee. Ended up playing solo through most of the sith warrior story, to level 47. This game popped into my head the other day and i spent an hour recovering my account. Logged in and sure enough there was my old character! I signed in and was pretty lost, so I decided to make a new one. It's been fun though and I am reminded why I spent so much time playing back then.
I played it back in the day and the change in companion assistance over the years is wild. I was legit stuck in a cave for hours until my friends (plural) could come help me kill the elite when they leveled up.
I'll always love SWTOR, since I started playing at 2013. Up to this day, I didn't finish all the content. After years, I decided to invest time in ship pvp (Galactic Starfighter). The thing is truly addicting with a very hard learning line. I stopped playing for a time, but I always return to play for some months, try new builds and new paths. SWTOR never let me down in any kind of content, group, pvp or solo.
Love this game, played it on and off since launch. The burnout is real as you said, but its worth coming back to. The fact you get almost 200 hours of story for a single month of sub is absurdly good value. so I can recommend it to anyone who isn't sure. I just wish they'd made it on a better engine :(
I mean as someone who has been playing swtor sense before 2016, and made me realized why I loved star wars after the dark times, after.... the empire came. Jokes aside, SWTOR was the reason I even got into pc gaming, I remember begging for a laptop, not a gaming one, just a plain laptop, and the first thing I did was downloads swtor, this laptop was not mean to game on, yet I played swtor religiously
"When discussing which MMOS are worth playing, star wars the old republic is more often than not even brought up" - The first 10 seconds of the video. Thank you, thats what we need in content creators.
I was in high school when the game first released, I played through all the stories & expansions, but after that there’s nothing else to do. I do occasionally come back whenever they drop a new expansion though.
I returned after two-year hiatus, and I'm enjoying myself. I heard the gearing system was bad with the release of 7.0, but it was improved in 7.2, which is true since it's easy to gear up, even if you're a solo player. Honestly, I'm having fun exploring each world and running vet fps; yes, when players get pissy because your not skipping everything is annoying. I mark friendly players and have found a couple of people to run stuff with. I have yet to try pvp or operations, and although I see fewer players, I still find SWTOR a great deal of fun. With the game swapping to a new studio, I hope they leave it set at its current level of 80 and just put out new content, even if it's done at a much slower pace. I'll happily keep my subscription running if they continue on this trek and fix bugs while occasionally throwing in new content to check out.
Nice video, Great summary of the game. Just got back into SWTOR, the reason was Darth Bane audiobooks. Missed the story from this game and I am hooked again. I was amazed seeing how many players there were online, just in my zone starting fresh. Can we just get the next gen Unreal 5 SWTOR II now?!
Free my sweet shaved ass. I played since beta and without subbing, it's a pain, now more than ever with the 1m inv locked while a good set costs 1b. And since 7.0 was launched, I stopped subbing, and then put the game in the sidelines, forever it seems, cuz Lost Ark is a really free game and the grinding is way way more fun.
Faction PVP did exist for years, but they changed it to as you said imbalance usually with the Empire having most of the players made for long waits. Then you would get into the match, and often the Republic would get curb stomped. They also made it not long ago so that any class/build could be played in both factions. For example my main is an operative Trooper.
I've recently come back to swtor after a long break (iirc, the level cap was 55 last time I played), so there's plenty of great content for me to catch up on. I already had a bunch of crafting skills trained, so it was just a matter of levelling them up to the new cap of 700 and crafting my own augments and kits. Inflation has been insane. When I last played, 20m credits was considered "filthy rich", now I can sell two blue 73 augments on the gtn and make that much \o.O/
Lot of ppl buy stuff from cash shop and sell items on ingame market to get quick in-game money. So you can buy almost any of cash shop cosmetics with in-game money as well.
I started playing about 2 weeks ago, Long time WoW player. I have been having a blast, Community is great for helping and the gameplay is fun. Defiantly recommend to anyone finding wow stale.
Great video Evozor. Definitely enjoyable to see your take on the game, especially to me as someone who played at launch but burnt out after the Hutt Cartel expansion. I'd be interested to hear your take on "vanilla" (or legacy) servers and your thoughts on how those would be taken. I'm split on the mindset between a "Modern-ish release of the vanilla experience" (i.e. major imbalance issues fixed, like credit glitches/duping, 64-bit client architecture, but fundamentally playing through the vanilla storyline with vanilla talents/builds and vanilla content) and the fact that currently the content is (mostly) "evergreen". I disagree that the experience is the same, because a LOT of the old content can be solo'd now, and the leveling experience has largely been watered down as inconsequential (you even mention this in this video about how nothing in solo content is a challenge really).
Yeah the game has changed and it is true to say that the tuning does change the experience of doing the content. Personally I'd be interested in legacy servers since I also fell off in Rise of the Hutt Cartel but I think it would be a bad idea to split the player base of an already low-ish population game. Plus the evergreen nature means that you can still see the content even if the tuning is different.
yeah, thats how I did it with this game, played it on and off. By attaching the security key to my acc. I passsively gained 100 Cartel coins per month and I've had my acc. for years, so I had some coins, I bought loot boxes, I got lucky with some overpriced decorations, I became a billionair, I started spending that money on nice armor sets and mounts, now I can play whatever class I want with really nice outfits which helps making the game a lot more fun, that being said, I am trying to save up for Tulak Hords lightsaber atm (my only realchallenge rn), because it's rare on the market and hella expensive
Started playign again this year. SWTOR is still the best mmo game out there because of the story and voice acting. It's leagues above what you'd usually see in these games. And of course you have it all happening in Star Wars! One of the coolest and most intricate settings for any game
I have always loved the sith inq story-line and the story is why i always come back to this game! Hope soon I can buy my power base again with my silencer
Just started playing again since it came out lol. Gave up when it came out due to having to do all quests on planets to not get pasted on next planet in main quest. Now it’s so much better. Now I can just do the interesting quests and main quests.
Here I am just canceled wow and looking for something new to play and up pops this video! I never considered Swtor back in the day cause wow was my online fix for the longest time. I am intrigued by your video and seeing as how the free to play aspect doesn't sound to bad I think I will jump in blind to swtor , knowing squat about the lore or the classes. What could possibly go wrong, right? LOL See you in game!
I'm a subscriber since it was launched and being a veteran SWTOR player, I have no regret at all. For me this game 'happened to me' in a good way. It helped me mentally through some difficulties times, It gave me new purposes, perspectives and more awareness, And the most important thing: I made new friends for life, both irl & online. It was, and still is the best investment in improving and stabilizing my quality of life. Yes, I agree on the clunkiness and some of the other minor defects you speak off. But you'll hardly notice these little flaws, so they are easilly ignored. Besides, that's also the charm, as there are no perfectly produced games. So, my answer to your question "Is it worth playing?" If you play2enjoy and play4fun and also want to experience a good story? Yes! Totally! Without a doubt! It's a MMSORPG - a Massive Multi-SOLO Online Role Play Game
I logged in today for first time since 3 months after launch. Have a few lvl 50s still in the game. No idea what to do now though so will create a new chatacter and learn it all again. I enjoyed it on release and just became sort of retired so have loads of time to enjoy the whole story again and loads of new stuff I missed.
As someone who started playing since beta and has well over 8000hrs in game cos I played it all the way through school till I finished Uni, to anyone who reads this comment, don't. Let this game die. Have them make a new one. The only reason this game still lives on is because there are literal whales left occupying it. The guilds left on EU (Malgus - their main server) are utterly toxic as fuck. Their dungeons and raids (Flashpoints and operations) are absolutely boring save for the few that are kinda okay. They bastardise the story of other games a lot, namely Kotor. This could easily be a solo player game as well since you will find very few players doing the same content that you are currently doing outside of max level repetitive missions.
To be fair, we don't know that its going into to maintenance mode. Broadsword may invest in the game more than Bioware has for years (its not a high bar). Its a real possibility that the game will be in maintenance mode at Broadsword but until we find out for sure I'm going to remain optimistic. Time will tell.
@@evozor5874 The fact that it's quite obvious Bioware pumped the majority of profit from the game into their other projects makes me believe they can't do any worse.
It had been in maintenance for years now, since the two eternal knights expansions ended. So it being in maintenance mode is the norm. Still a fun game, the starting stories are worth a playthrough.
Well I've been playing SWTOR since early start in 2011 on and off. And I'm with you on this economic disaster. I had about 20m credits when last played and was rich. Oh boy I was so rich, I literally could buy everything (what I never did, which basically made me rich cause I only sold items and played for it to get them). Well that was back in maybe 2014/2015. Now I don't even get an ice for my 20m credits :P But tbh, it's fairly easy to make credits. I bought all good looking and cheap color dyes and resold them with up to 10m gain per deal :P By doing absolutely nothing, just buying cheap and reselling more expensive xD And the blue augments are fairly good to start off until you built all purple ones by yourself. No hurry here to buy purple augmentations to all new players here! :) Over all SWTOR is beside Lotro the best MMO to "coming back and have a look what's new". 🙂Everyone who at least loves sci-fi should at least play the 8 base storylines, those are for me the best storyline in every MMO.
I gave it a go. I tried to change camera rotation speed - nothing happening, settings go back to 0%, and learning that this is comman issue, i tried to rapair it, went to settings files etc. turned on game again and nothing changed. Even tried to "run as administrator"... but im done.. Im not gonna "FIGHT" more then 20 min to try to play a game if from the begining to have to look for fixes on internet.
I started playing when it first came out. Played daily until 2012. Then stopped. They literally have the same maps. Doesn’t look like they’ve done much in 10 years
Honestly World boss is nececary in order to do a nightmare ops. Not all of the requiers but some does. And by economyy ruin you mean the credit sellers and botters prety much, call them on their names mate :D
I’d like to mention that the game feels drastically less tedious if you have a good guild. The crafting is less tedious when guild members accept to just give it away, same goes with credits, and the explanations are way simpler when veterans explain it. As a F2P, it enhanced the experience 10 fold
Yes. It’s def worth it. My dad and I created a guild and play every day even if it’s for a few minutes. Since I work 4am to 12:30 and he works 9 to 5, it’s a good way for us to hang and have fun. Guilds called whoop ass btw. Lmk if you wanna open a can
I keep coming back to swtor, mainly to try and learn to be a guardian/Jugg tank or Sage/Sorc heal main, but I can never find a good way to learn the ropes of group content or where to start.
SWTOR on your own is okay. However SWTOR has 4 player co-op. You can go through the entire base game storyline after the first planet playing with up to 3 other friends. I have not found any other f2p pc games that I can do 4 player co-op. So 4 player co-op is where SWTOR shines.
I'd definitely recommend it as a first mmo :) It was the first mmo that I spent more than a day playing and it's totally worth it. The F2P state is pretty great at the moment and really lets you run wild. Plus, I'd argue its casual friendly design makes it great for new players.
I love this game, used to play it religiously, but after KotFE did so many major changes, it felt like the game lost that magic that made it so fun. Since then, the game's been struggling hard and the last expansion really didn't do the game any favors. I feel that if swtor is gonna survive, it needs a massive overhaul and to return to its roots.
i love your armor on the operative! i remember getting it like over 10 years ago. is it still unique or can one still get it nowadays? edit: armor in the intro*
I’m currently playing KOTOR1 and am almost finished. I will be playing 2 after that. From the sounds of it, this mmo can be played as a solo RPG similar to the originals games?
SWTOR is an mmo that has aged well. Right now there is more than double the content and planets than at release. Even if you do not want to do endgame, the leveling quests are fun. Though, if you please it, get a sub so you can have dual spec of classes between each character. I like a mix of scoundrel and powertech on the smuggler storyline.
Played the old old Knights of the old republic on XBOX years ago. I got it on steam also it was grand! I am still pretty new to this game even tho its old. I just never got into it for some reason. But it seems grand. I aint even got the premium or nothing.
I am surprised you resisted this much in the game. Gratz. I just wanted to PvP but seeing how OP healing was...and 0 new maps...and long ass gearing process back when i played.. i said no to EA.
Fuck yeah it is, hell I'm playing it right now. I started playing it back in like 2015 but then I had a crappy cpu never completed the story mode and now finally I'm back to playing it on a good cpu

A very well-written and through direction of the endgame of this wonderful MMO. You're editor must have quite a brilliant mind.
I agree with your statement. It reminds me of a friend of mine named Goliath who articulates his words in the same way.
@@dalishisness Really? I should meet him one day. Great minds do think alike you know.
I really hope the modernization that is coming will breathe more life into the game, even though i've played WOW the longest, Swtor is the MMORPG i have used the most consecutive time on.
sadly it did not.
Do it!
I know most won’t agree but my favorite storyline is being a light leaning sith warrior
my new main mmo.
As a person who is intrigued by SWTOR, I'm thinking that on the most basic level, this game is just World of Warcraft; Star Wars Edition
You can actually set up a security key and get 100 cartel coins every month. I am just hoping back in the game in a few years and now have 4440 cartel coins haha
TOR is so underrated, i was there at launch and i feel the same love after 12 years. It has made my all time favorite mmo along with lineage 2
It's been made much easier to level up even without a sub and most of the game felt like a cakewalk compared to what I faced originally. but the jump puzzles and their maker can still go burn DX
On the topic of jump puzzles, while I've helped a couple people through them there have been dozens of times I've been trying to complete them to get the stat increase items and someone really good at them happens to see me doing it then either have a character that can pull/push me to the right spot or calls over a player from their guild that can help. We all collectively hate them and help each other when we can. It's one of the best ways to make friends in game from what I've experienced. XD
I played it last year a bit. I left swtor for FFXIV. I now came back. This still is my favorite MMO by a mile.
Unfortunately with 7.0 swtor is not worth it anymore.
SWTOR never let me down in any kind of content, group, pvp or solo.
came back to swtor after years just chilling and fun stories.
brand to swtor and i’m blown away. story is so good and i’m excited to check everything out.. really good video, and nice channel! 👍🏼
Thanks Darren! Glad you're enjoying the game!
I'm addicted to gsf. Cant stop playing it since I discover it.
I’m going to start over with a new character and if anyone wants to join me getting back into this game let me know!
Thanks for the info! I was looking into this game recently and this video answered some questions and swayed me to downloading it. Thanks again!
Glad I could help! Hope you enjoy it!
Definitely like playing it as my side MMO! Great video EvozorMan!
So you quit WoW?
@@dalishisness Definitely. Yup. No more WoW.
@@Skollshorties what are you playing now?
@@CandysChannel Still playing World of Warcraft!
"When discussing which MMOS are worth playing, star wars the old republic is more often than not even brought up" - The first 10 seconds of the video. Thank you, thats what we need in content creators.
Thank you for the video. I never played, but I had the game in my Steam library. Your video convinced me to go give the game a try.
Hope you enjoy it!
Damnit Evo you got me to resub. Fine I’ll play for a bit!
I was in high school when the game first released, I played through all the stories & expansions, but after that there’s nothing else to do. I do occasionally come back whenever they drop a new expansion though.
Yes. Absolutely.
Start with a Sith or Imperial Agent. 🤟
Probably not gonna happen, but I’d love a revamp on Stronghold customization. It’d be nice to have a “The Sims” building experience on my home
Recently came back after last playing in 2014 or some shit. Anyway, having a blast w/ vengeance juggernaut
I'll happily keep my subscription running if they continue on this trek and fix bugs while occasionally throwing in new content to check out.
in an RPG dialogue game where you get an awesome quest reward you cannot use because companion appearances are paywalled
bruh
Nice video, Great summary of the game.
Just got back into SWTOR, the reason was Darth Bane audiobooks. Missed the story from this game and I am hooked again. I was amazed seeing how many players there were online, just in my zone starting fresh.
Can we just get the next gen Unreal 5 SWTOR II now?!
Swtor has always been worth giving it a good chance of playing it for those who love MMOs. It's really good.
AND ITS FREE!
FREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
@@danielcarter71234 Lost Ark is FREE? I would like to know what you are ingesting because it must be good 😉
if u are looking for a great guild on the Shan Server Look for The Eternal order
I played at launch and can remember pub players getting pissed on the forum's.
I left playing SWTOR in 2016 and this video makes me excited to play again :D
They should bring this on current gen console's. Xbs Xbsx and PS5 should run it.
I started playing about 2 weeks ago, Long time WoW player. I have been having a blast, Community is great for helping and the gameplay is fun. Defiantly recommend to anyone finding wow stale.
Omg I remember open world pvp in Illum! That was just perfect
Well when it first came out I remember solo content was much harder but now I don’t even use the companion anymore 95% of the time
yeah, thats how I did it with this game, played it on and off.
Good luck! Hope you enjoy it!
Just subbed to this game after enjoying th sith warrior. To think their are 7 other stories is awesome
I'm a subscriber since it was launched and being a veteran SWTOR player, I have no regret at all.
For me this game 'happened to me' in a good way.
It helped me mentally through some difficulties times,
It gave me new purposes, perspectives and more awareness,
And the most important thing: I made new friends for life, both irl & online.
So, my answer to your question "Is it worth playing?"
If you play2enjoy and play4fun and also want to experience a good story?
Yes!
Just bought me a gaming laptop I will play this game. I am really a competitive player so I know I'm ten years late but I will learn the ropes in pvp.
Even after ten years you will still have fun with this game. No joke
@@dalishisness I believe you I played it for a bit I already enjoy it
Its not terribly complicated, I was able to learn the ropes pretty fast but I also pvped a little in wow so I had a bit of a head start.
@@evozor5874 STOP SPAMMING MY PHONE!
@@evozor5874 yeah I played ESO I was good at pvp on that
i play swtor since launch on and off. i played everything mmo wise and swtor stands out ! Even unsubbed its worth for new people ! Great game totally.
Checking to see if anybody in SWTOR remembers a redhaired smuggler (gunslinger) i played as named Dinanra?
This is pretty well written man props
Just resubbed after playing at launch and I must say the story is actually very good. I've been having a good time.
Bioware does a great job at telling a story. You will not regret resubbing
Most the class and expansion stories are fantastic, its the one thing everyone agrees on lol
Knowing that it’s getting shoved into Maintenance is a big killer. I mean, I hope it doesn’t stop with content. But I don’t have hope
Now I don't even get an ice for my 20m credits :P
But tbh, it's fairly easy to make credits. :)
Over all SWTOR is beside Lotro the best MMO to "coming back and have a look what's new".
I started playing about 3 years ago... it's my main now, actually, its the only one I'm playing at the moment
I’d like to mention that the game feels drastically less tedious if you have a good guild. The crafting is less tedious when guild members accept to just give it away, same goes with credits, and the explanations are way simpler when veterans explain it. As a F2P, it enhanced the experience 10 fold
On and off since alpha testing. I truly recommend at least for the vanilla story for each class.
I still miss the refer friend option so much
Yes. It’s def worth it. My dad and I created a guild and play every day even if it’s for a few minutes. Since I work 4am to 12:30 and he works 9 to 5, it’s a good way for us to hang and have fun. Guilds called whoop ass btw. Lmk if you wanna open a can
Fantastic video, convinced me to get back to swotor.
Would you still recommend it if you have never played a MMO?
I'd definitely recommend it as a first mmo :) It was the first mmo that I spent more than a day playing and it's totally worth it. The F2P state is pretty great at the moment and really lets you run wild. Plus, I'd argue its casual friendly design makes it great for new players.
Is the game still getting live service and maintenance? Is the player base atoeast decent? These are the most important questions!
Hello, a question, what happened to the pvp flags that you placed when killing a player?
If they make kotor 3, i hope its set during the great galatic war or cold war like this game
Do u still need to paye for game to play pvp?
Pvp is open to all now that ranked is gone.
