After a fresh rebuild its common for rust scale to work itself loose after machining and hot tanking. Always run a inline filter. Did u fix the heating issue?
That model always looks good in white. Unusual engine colour 🤔. Owned a blue CM sedan in the early 90swith blue trim even had at the time a new NOS grill . Nice work . 👍🏻
had something like that in a centura 4spd ,it was fun. these days id put a hho cell on it ,my cars run just that little better like you have a tail wind with hho. towing you dont need to drop back gears as often
Really nice car love the old school valiant such a easy car to work around not like the rubbish of to day I'm looking at finding a old school classic myself can't live with all this ev bullshit
These things will cruise at 140kays all day…as long as you keep the juice coming…and that was their Achilles heel. The ELB gadget was pretty much a lark. When the CMs came out in about ‘82 they had to shrug the petrol guzzler image, but it was too late. The Commodore had seduced everybody and Ford’s had the ugly but potent XD which was the go-between because the Commodore was small and the Vals too big and thirsty, plus the alloy head XE was on the horizon. Chrysler had their fans but not enough to keep the flag flying at Tonsley.
Good work! She's on the road again.

No housings. Eltrontic fans are not the best. Just use the old system with shroul or housing. Keep it cool. ❤
