  • Practice and Experience Legs up the Wall Benefits Over 50s
Practice along with me in this video and experience legs up the wall benefits for yourself. The legs up the wall pose is especially good if you are over 50 as it aids blood flow towards the heart and brain, which tends towards becoming more stagnant with age. The legs up the wall benefits are numerous but a few huge ones are inducing a deep relaxation throughout the whole body as well as slowing ageing in the brain.
But don't believe anything you read or see on UA-cam - try for yourself and see how you feel after.
    Love
    Jackie

I do a similar pose with one down leg through a door and one up leg up the wall. It helps with stretching the hamstring and lower back for the leg up the wall.

I love doing legs up the wall but didn’t realize that it could affect my glaucoma. That makes me sad😢. I will limit time doing it. Thanks so much for info

Is it better to do legs up the wall at night before bed? I thought legs up the wall was good for high blood pressure and anxiety, not sure if you said people with high blood pressure and glaucoma should not do this leg up the wall pose. I may have misunderstood what you said. Thanks

Inversions are not completely safe with untreated HBP. A little bit of legs up the wall should be safe but probably not headstand or shoulder stand. It’s not a clear cut answer. With glaucoma inversions do increase intra ocular pressure therefore also need to be practiced with caution. If you feel uncomfortable increased pressure behind eyes then you should come down.
