The Vickers Mk.11 is a Light Tank for the British Tech Tree. The wheeled Vickers Mk.11 is an absolute animal. It has a 105mm LRF cannon with a really good APFSDS at only 8.7! Combine this firepower with its speed and excellent gun handling and you've got yourself a really mean Light Tank!
The Vickers Mk11 is excellent. It's exactly what you need for a light tank for this Battle Rating for Britain. Where the Rooikat 105 was pushed to 9.3 after a couple of years, this is just basically the same thing but more traditional Brit.
I actually missed this vehicle 2 patches ago and now I'm really kicking myself that I didn't pick up on it sooner. It's a fantastic light tank and a really welcome addition to the Brits in War Thunder.

10th time asking you to play 8.7 Sweden, the gist of it is that you get constant downtiers to 7.7, you face German teammates more often than not, and you will see a lot of king tigers. Also include the Saab 105 g. It’s stupidly op with a full bomb load. T55M, strv103c, strv104, ikv-91-105, veak40, and rush with the itpsv90. IT IS STUPID FUN.🤩

Not to knock his skills, but holy dingus some of the people he takes out are just mentally not there either. Where do I go to get such braindead opponents instead of being sniped across the map through three windows by a dude with 87 bushes on his tank?
@@BioHazard36 You'd think it would even out to a 50/50 chance that you'd get on the team with people who actually had peripheral vision much less any situational awareness at all, but strangely it never works out that way.

Okay I don't feel so bad now. I've been playing for two days and I freaking suck. I mean I'm usually not great at video games, but my goodness I suck at War Thunder. 🤣
Granted, I've been playing on Xbox One, and it definitely seems better suited for PC.

they nerfed the sounds of the russian vehicles recently as well, it went from "hey there is a BMP in this match" to "getting shot in the back by agent 47BMP"
@@ravenof1985i have no issues hearing anything, so far the loudest is the challengers for me.
@@ravenof1985 I haven't remarked any change to soviet tank engine sound volume. They are as loud as ever especially the two soviet lawnmowers, the Obj 435 and the T-64. The Leo 1s have always been exceptionally loud, whether it's more or less now doesn't make a huge difference.

I've been steadily grinding for this as I think it looks cool. Something straight out of Halo, as if it was an upgraded Warthog. Recently got the Vickers Mk3 which is directly before the Mk11, and so I'm close to getting it. This is going to be a good video to watch to see how to play it.

the G6 Rhino is actually a vehicle in a Command and Conquer game, and the basis for the artillery gun laser thing in Halo Wars to boot... its also a great HE flinger, dont skip out on it if you're going down britain
Vickers mk3 is pretty good once u get the laser rangefinder, but since the apds nerf it doesnt quite weigh up to 8.3, so play carefully&smart with it

We could get the BV 222 in the game at a lower BR than the BV 238 , as it's a smaller version and the original craft that the BV 238 was then based off.

Hell yeah. Rooikat MTTD and this tank are great in a line up. Some of the most fun tanks to play in the Brit tree
I've actually got a positive K/D ratio in this tank which for me is fantastic (yeh I know) which means it's a really good tank
I'm blown away how you can consistently get away with these super early game rushes and flanks. Everytime I feel like being cheeky and rushing the point or hugging the edges of the map with some wheely boi, there always seems to be someone who has foreseen my little stunt in a crystal ball and is in a perfect position to foil my plan.

There was a vehicle near identical to this parked up outside Vickers Newcastle works late 80's early 90's. Looked like nothing we had at the time and must have had glass a foot thick. That was when we actually made stuff.

fun fact about the vickers mk11: if you place an object on the underside of the turret on the back the object will place itself inside the boot of the vehicle (you can see them through the glass in the doors)

I’ve played warthunder for years, but OddBawz ability to spot a plane or anything and know what it is instantly is amazing .

Don't know if it helps, but I found out that this is Britain's first amphibious vehicle

Love that little bastard wheelie boy, I got it as soon as it came out, and it can swim, slow but can still swim, great for unexpected ambushes.
I haven't played WT in a few months by now but I had a blast zigzaggin around in this thing and sniping the hell out of everyone so much. You can use this and then have the Vickers mediums as backups or up-BR it to 9.0 to use it in conjunction with the tech tree 105 Rooikat, all of 'em speedy bois with lrfs and a decent round for maximum carnage.

The amount of vehicles that were designed to be used in prepared fighting positions that we use to just run into high velocity gun fights in war thunder is impressive.
Every time you play a light tank, I find myself yelling, "SCOUT THAT GUY! SCOUT HIM! ODD, USE THE SCOUT FUNCTION!" at the screen for most of the video. My wife finally had to tell me that you can't hear me. ggs

i play that beast with my Buccaneer S.2 i made a 8.7 lineup with the brits which i have been reluctend to do until that beauty came into my focus. i follow it up with the chiftain and the warrior. just love it

Day 9 of: Since they added the Breda 90/53 they have added a new round for the Italian 90mm gun, maybe you could make a video in the future with a lineup of just 90mm 90/53 guns (Breda 90/53, Breda 501 and 90 /53 M41M)

Day 11 of asking for a video on the Strv m/42 EH, one of my favourite low tier tanks. That thing is a real allrounder, fullfilling its role as a medium wonderfully well. I have been requesting this for close to two months now and would be really happy to see a video on it soon! :D
Bit of an older tank, and you honestly probably don't like it, but one of my fav tank is the waffentrager. No doubt it suffers a lot, but when tou get the big long range maps it can be a lot of fun to use is great optics and its long 88 at a low br
