Beautiful car. Not everything needs to be 9 secs 1/4 mile to enjoy it and beat on it. Next step should be ported OEM manifold preferably or at least a skunk 2 and tuner2,pro1 or pro2 cams on it. It'll wake it up for NA. Good solid 20-30 whp gains over current numbers or just boost it.
This is an automatic long block right? If so that’s really good numbers. My engine came from an automatic as well but I have the fully gutted intake manifold and the throttle body from my H23A SiR engine. The one bit of money I’m going to throw at the engine is a set of cams. If I can find the manual cams (same as Type-S) then I’ll use those otherwise I’ll run some stage 2 skunk2 cams. I’d like to make close to the same horsepower as my H23A made. Shouldn’t be too hard because the H23A had stock cams and only mods was the balance shaft removal, intake being modified, port matching, etc.
Solid number for the auto version!! Haven't seen that car in a little while. Happy to see it still running strong. If he can get his hands on some stock 22 or 23a cams, port the mani, bigger tb, he'll be over 200 easily. Dope video as always fam 💪🏽
@@andrewnooney8283 I know about the similarities. But there’s definitely a difference with h23a. Even when measured or degreed, their cams are closer to the Euro R cams. Only reason I say is because on my old h2b I swapped cams on the dyno and numbers increased with no variables changed. Each time the 23 cams had better torque and hp numbers. Better bottom end tq and carried the power throughout the graph better. Even with that I’ve never seen anyone have all engines and measure differences. Just a bunch of “I think” on forums

Great video. Sorry for the long comment but i have a few questions. Currently swapping my 97 cd5 to a f20b. Did you use the rywire crank sensor harness? What ecu, injectors, and distributor are you running? I appreciate any feedback. Thanks!
So does that f20b pull that wagon decent ? I got 93 ex wagon and never knew how heavy it was until i had a dead battery and tried push starting it !!!! Holly shit bout got a stroke when attempting to push, currently has jdm f23a was debating on h22 head/f23 or just swapping in h23vtec, but torque is what im gonna need, so curious too know about f20b pulling a wagon ?
@@DrivenFilmsPhotography yeah was thinkin same but what i cant understand is how does h23vtec and f22a have same stroke and yet h23vtec goes 8k rpm and original f22a2 or whatever is i blew within 2week owning 🤔 doesn't help parkin gsr to try driving a wagon but f22 been knowing to not rev due to storke intended for torque but h23vtec has identical throw or im missing something? And you be get dem dam motor for peanuts, im o-town and u aint getting shit with words dohc/vtec on valve cover for no less 2k for jdm engine only , want typeS h22 but i think h23vtec with gsr tranny due it justice either way cheaper than k swapping it but cb7 with k24 sure is decent
Love the wagon! I have a h22a swapped wagon, these cars have always been slept on.

Car sounds healthy. Fun and functional daily. Just have to add a resonator to get rid of the rasp and it would be perfect.
Sounds like you need a 6th gear chirp chirp 🏎️💨 🤪
Dang man that tuning seems legit!. Great video 🙏. Ill be waiting for the next keep up the good work!!!. Take care
Love this wangon dont see stuff like this on street anymore good stuff champ!
Appreciate it fam🙏🏼🙏🏼
Lmao, the man is pumped. Gains are gains
Nice video, definitely a good change of pace. I still may get one of these engines for my cb7 after seeing the power it makes with a few bolt ons.
I highly recommend it, the F20B is slept on in the honda community
@@bighomieJ5X Couldn't have said it any better!! Most people don't even know the engine exists lol

He drives the shit out of this car man. It's been in there for years and keeps on running. Jeff is a major maintenance guy tho so it's in good hands
Pretty sure stock H22 and H23A cams are the same as auto F20B. Just H22 Type-S and F20B manual camshafts are bigger...

What’s ecu bro?
Is this f20b an auto or the manual version?
Auto version
What's it cost ya for a dyno session and how long is it thax
Not sure what they charge but 300-400 $ is what I’ve payed in the past there no set time could be done fast or take hours
What computer you running with that setup?
Everything we have is on a chipped p28 tuned on Honda Tuning Suite
