That1Chick I know that. I dedicated "I got you" for a girl I was once in love with. After the fallout, "Atlanta" just fits perfectly, and because I live in a heroin riddled town. Playing it on a rainy day through town, I feel at home.
We stood outside a huge festival, poor, content on listening to the band from outside the fences, when a couple who were leaving gave us their passes. We ran in, excited knowing we were going to actually see STP, the headliners play. And what a performance, We''ll never forget it. If you're out there, thank you for the passes guys, hope karma got you back!
Somehow STP have gone and flown past me, up until recently. Heard this song and was convinced Jim Morrison had recorded a song I somehow haven't heard. Stunning, poignant and inspiring, so beautiful
Song is not about drugs or anything like that its about his ex-wife Janina Castenada. She is Mexican, that's why the lyrics reference Mexico (visions of Mexico and the Mexican princess)
Of all the Atlanta songs I heard STP Scott Weiland sing to me this one sounds most like Jim Morrison especially because it's so stripped down. When I first heard this version I thought it was Jim it's a great song Scott can sing anybody from the doors David Bowie and listen to their fourth album he sounds a lot like Axl Rose when Axl sings low growl like...
While I do agree that STP is the best band not only to come out of the grunge era, but of all time, I wouldnt call them grunge. Core might have some grunge influence, but after that STP went on to have unique album after album
coming from a survivor, when you use heroin that's all u think about you literally become married to it I was for many many years and you wait by the door if the man is on his way. it encompasses you n your life completely .when you sleep u dream about it I was just lucky to walk away
I plan on going out like Scott; Slamming a bunch of brownstone one night and I’ll be free. Very very soon. There is no joy in this world and true courage is taking that last trip.
i'd rather live on the edge. i hope youre still breathing my friend. i know how you feel, but instead you should try to put out positive vibes & help make someones day or make a difference for someone. live for others.
I was a junky since I was 20 I got my first taste @18&had my use not debilitate me. I hurt every day I'm reminded of my 11friends who died from opiates of sort I like this song but ill never get my friends back.support drug awareness

Que tu alma descanse en paz Scott
Está canción te hace volar. Es fascinantemente bella ✌✌

SAD BUT NICE SONG
Has a hint of Jim Morrison going on. A great song. STP really kept putting out great and well written songs throughout their years.
Waits by the door.
@420spintop this song isnt about dope its about his ex-wife. Read up on it
jodidamente fresca
