They went on around 11pm and my Mom was pushing me to go to bed for school the next day. But, I had to stay up. I'll never forget this song because it embodied the talent that Scott was. The guy was the last in a breed of "rock stars." There are not many artists who rocked liked Scott and STP. I listened to that Purple album 50 billion times and it never got old. He had an eclectic array of genres in his performance (blues, rock, punk). The Core album broke all barriers. Tiny Music is awesome! Music lost a great.

You could see Robert wasn't at all happy with Scott around at around 00:58 when Scott screwed up the lyric. From what I've read, even at this early stage (1994) the DeLeos were already thinking about replacing Scott because he had become such an unreliable junkie mess.

Fuck. i was 29 in 1994. I thought rock was dead until the short-lived tock renaissance of the early/mid 90's. STP was a HUGE part of that.
