This is great. I’ll do mine now. Now if only there can be an update to allow for us to use more juice to force a harder blade speed while bagging. It’s my only complaint of this mower, sometimes it just doesn’t have enough lift and the tube gets clogged.
Those are great tips Matt. I'm glad the firmware update fixed the continued power after releasing the throttle issue. One tip I would recommend is that after the batteries are fully charged, push the release buttons on each one to pop them up like you showed in the video so that they are no longer connected to the circuit. Keeping them out of circuit will help protect them from "parasitic discharge" between mows. Then just push them back in when you're ready to mow. They will be able to retain more of their charge better that way.

I just bought my second Tesla and am replacing my gas heater with an electric heat pump, and this is my next purchase--an EGO electric lawnmower as I produce a TON of energy from my solar panels and small wind turbine, to charge all of my electric equipment.
Very Nice. I have solar panels also, that made my Ego Purchase easier.
I got that error also, the unit was completely powered on. I powered it off and then powered it on like a car in accessory mode and was able to update.
Have you ever had issues with the lcd screen in the heat? Just bought 52” zero turn and the screen went out first time charging it. I have heard others had problems in the heat but would start working normally once mower cooled down. Mine did not and now it’s in for warranty repair and only had the mower for about 2 weeks. Kinda a bummer but at least ego is getting it fixed under warranty.
I am in Vermont, and we have not had a day over 85f yet. So next week will be the true test (100f). I have yet to have LCD issues/concerns.

I'm so upset with EGO because we're not allowed to do firmware updates in Europe. I would have to load the Z6 and take the truck to the dealer, pay money and pick it up again a few days later. what a hassle for something that was supposed to be done via an app
Wow Thats nuts, sorry to read that. Let's hope they change that.
So what was all changed? My app was blank on the screen for the change log
I did explain it in video, it stops the forward movement after you release the accelerator.
@@TarkisZOneProductions I did hear that. That was the entire update, nothing else? I just couldn't find any information on what the update did, other than your video and this one thing.
@@FPTownsend I honestly do not think it was anything more than that. As for the APP it is Beta Mode, so I do not think they have gotten to programming the logs lol Let's hope they spend some time with updating the APP so we can read the logs.
