Thanks to the homie @ImOnMy116 it was brought to my attention. VIA may have played a part in the pcb issue. I did only have dropping issues on the very first day I was testing. DUO Foundry did say they will look into it so this shouldn’t be an issue on GB units!
I'm just starting to research keyboards, crazy how deep this rabbit hole is along with the seemingly unlimited variables. I wish there was someplace I could go try a lot of the switches, keycaps, lubes, flex cuts, no flex cuts and on and on. I like the design of so many of the boards and keycaps but that is just looks, seems like feel is something you can only get by trying them out. I mostly use my MacBook Pro now so really not the best starting point. Anyway I enjoyed the video and your style of review, cheers!
Unfortunately that is the downside of the hobby. I’m glad your getting into though. I’m a bit jealous, the beginning was my part! Thanks for checking out the channe!
I feel like that scroll wheel would be a lot better if it lined up with the outside of the case rather than being inset. Sliding my hand to the side feels better than lifting and aiming from the top
yo for real, we desperately need VIA to fix their stuff! The new version broke compatibility with a lot of PCBs it seems. I've had to use VIAL (which seemingly still works as expected, just with an uglier UI). Appreciate the review, hope we get away from the flex but trend! Clackbait just did a vid with the QK80 with the no flex cut 1.2MM PCB, and it looks and sounds great!
@@Akeynote Sweet, I’ll look forward to that! Re: VIA issues, I’ve personally seen the new version not working with a DZ60 PCB and a Thera 75v2 PCB that previously worked fine. I heard other people were having similar issues on the Divinikey discord. Not sure what’s up, but seemingly VIAL still works (may just have to import a json).

You could look into going into a keyboard meetup, you could try many different keyboards

Oh snap I had no idea! I’m gonna pin a comment maybe it was VIA’s issue not the duo foundry!
Currently working on my no flex cut qk80! It’s super exciting
