If I had $75k+ I'd choose the ZR2. Love that 6.2L V8. Large, over engineered, high capacity trucks should all have V8's! Leave the V4's to the cars, mid size truck and mid size SUV's.
I owned a 2023 1794 with a 3 inch lift on 35 nitto ridge grapplers. It was an absolute POS. I traded a 2019 Trail boss for it. Worst decision I ever made.
I was dead set on buying the Silverado ZR2 until I drove it , the trans was very clunky and the fit & finish was not up to par , I ended buying the tundra and just love it ….dont get me wrong that ZR2 is a sweet looking truck but the built quality fell short for me
Funny, when I test drove both. Exact opposite for me. Tundra was sluggish and slow feeling… it wasnt the hybrid and I could tell big diff in tourqe. Silverado for me. Also the fit and finish was about the same for me. Maybe a little better in the Chevy
Both look great but the decision you need to make is how do you want your engine to fail. Either blow up on the Toyota or have lifter failure on the 6.2 😂
Man that Toyota is UGLY..I really dont get the hype..especially when their reliability is a shadow of itself compared to Toyota trucks of the 80's-00's.
I just can’t watch this video anymore. I just gotta stop it watching the Chevy truck next to the Toyota Tundra makes me wanna gag. Get it out of there.🤫🤫🤫
Man that 2025 Silverado is almost perfect. Great color and black out package. Just needs 35s. Also not a fan of the gray interior.
Man Chevy is finally listening with these colors 🎉 Dark Ash Metallic, Slate Grey Metallic and now Cypress Grey are all 🔥🔥🔥
Pulling my sub as Ben is just flying through the reviews now.
It's the cringey thumbnails and clickbait titles that did it for me

I like the Silverado with v8

The ZR2 is really cool, just wish they differentiated it a bit more with wider stance and 35s.
I love the Chevrolet Silverado ZR2. Chevrolet Silverado ZR2 looks good to go buy one

At this point the Chevy might be more reliable
I'd like to see a 6.2 ZR2 vs. a 5.0 Tremor.
Does the ZR2 still have the DFM system? Problems with lifters? Thank you for the great video!
DFM has been standard for years now…
@@henryscreationsI have a 2019 LTZ. No problems at all…I do drive in L9 to keep dfm from kicking in.

2024 Chevy Silverado ZR2 AEV Bison w/the Duramax FTW! TRD Pro can't hold a candle.
Quality and price: both manufacturers need to do better!
Review the 2025 ZR2 HD Gas crew cab. 24,500 total gross weight combined gives you options with cargo and towing, and have your cake 2 !
I like toyota tundra
I like the look of the ZR2...then again I have the 2023 ZR2 Silverado
I would go with the 6.2 NA over the overcomplicated turbo hybrid small displacement V6 in a heartbeat.
The ZR2 is light years better than that other garbage lol.
Zr2 hand down! Toyota screwed up with turbos!
Does the trd pro have tow hooks
No
No rear bumper steps or tailgate step either !!
@@robqwertyuipp8750 wth are they thinking
@@robqwertyuipp8750does your GM hold your purse too?

Duramax
I have a 6.2 with over 83000 miles on it, no lifter failure. It's been a solid truck.
Yeah. Those failures get blasted all over social media but in truth it's on a small number. Gotta get those views though.
@davidwethington9320 I'd speculate that certain years would be more prone, such as 2021, where we had like a major supply chain issue.
Silverado ❤
The silverado has toe hooks.Count me in
Toyota by far
Chevrolet without a doubt!
Why is the Silverado engine covered in dust?
Have a 24 zr2 Duramax. It barely costs more than a loaded trail boss
That’s not a 2025 Toyota Tundra 🤦🏻♂️
HUD in the tundra trd pro?
Yes
What’s the paint on the zr2?
Cypress gray
ZR2 😀👍
ZR2 hands down.
Silverado for better sound. Toyota for better interior(relating to the trd pro)
Neither for reliability
@user-tw8ov it's not easy to say. But I would go for chevy for reliability
@@davidleeosbourne2727 That should be toyota
Chevy needs to at least offer a regular bumper without those dumb steps
Just traded tundra Trd pro for a zr2 bison Duramax, no regrets
The trd pro is over rated and no good. Zr2 is better. No tow hooks? 33 in tires? Engine failure?
the mirrors placement on the chevy look weird asf
ZR2 with duramax

No brainer,zr2

Ben looks like he votes for Kamala..
Toyota resale still better
Green for the win. Put the 5.7 back in the tundra.
