Another excellent review. As an Owner of "new to me" 2019 Platinum with 90k, and just returned from our 1st long trip (2200 miles) - we love the '19. 2024 would not be on our buy list for the reasons you mentioned - we bought it for "BIG" flat floor with no shelves, raised floor or other obstructions. 3rd row seats are great and fold away flat for hauling in our rig. The "old guard" has been pushed out at toyota. So far its been horrific for the trucks. Its been ok for cars and suvs and great sports car enthusiasts. The turbo hybrid is about emissions, so blame uncle sam for that.
TNGA-F vehicles have been a disappointment. They're body on frame mainstream vehicles are still solid and reasonably priced in this environment with currency devaluation.
It's prohibitively expensive today to make cars of the same quality as 1990s and early 2000s Toyotas. They have no choice but to cut back. Otherwise the cars would be even more expensive.
Great review which helps this family feel smart by sticking with our non-hybrid non-CVT 2021 Toyota 4Runner. Please keep the great videos coming as we aim to continue carefully maintaining our Toyota for the next two decades!

The more new Toyota videos I watch, the more reassured I feel with my 2024 4Runner TRD ORP purchase. Feels like a tank! Hope to drive it for 20 years or so.
@@markhale9877Also have a 2022 4Run Pro. I don't even have 1k miles on it yet... It is the backup to the 2022 SR5 Prem that I bought at the same time (18k miles on that). The third row/cargo area is a disaster in a vehicle of this size. Seems like the hybrid system doesn’t benefit the truck very much but resulted in considerable additional drivetrain complication and interior packaging compromises. 👎🏻
As always, I LOVE you honesty and detailed reviews. Thank you, brother. I wonder if TOYOTA should have used the longer wheelbase for the Sequoia and raised the roof from the 2nd row back, like the old Nissan Xterra, to give the 3rd row passengers better leg and head room as well as increased the available space behind the 3rd row. I think it would have looked pretty cool too!
Ive done spark plugs on a Tundra with the same engine. They have to be done every 40,000, and at my dealer, it pays 5 hours. It took me about 4.5, and it was a challenge, to say the least. The way they ran the wiring harness, it looks like they just threw it on the engine and hoped it works. Honesty, it felt like the Germans got hold of it
@LibertyOrD___h probably, honestly, the driver side was probably worse because they put a purge solenoid right on top of the ignition coil that clips in.
i bought a highlander in 22, everything ive seen about these trucks makes me so glad i didnt go for one of these. if they put a bigger battery and a usable EV motor to save on gas these wouldve been a better argument than they are.
As an avid off-roader for many years (going back to the days of Dick Cepek, Mickey Thompson, Ivan "Ironman" Stewart and Phil Reusche) who I worked for, THIS IS NOT AN OFF-ROAD VEHICLE for many reasons. The most concerning reason is it NOT being DIY friendly nor ON THE TRAIL REPAIR CAPABLE. IMO, Toyota American Marketing was looking to make a ton more money!
Was interested in Toyota Sequoia but can't buy until the back storage is flat. It's a deal breaker. Hoping you plan on a review for 2025 Nissan Armada. You know your stuff and what you say is extremely helpful!
Got it and absolutely love it ❤️!!!!! We traded Mazda cx90 we were gonna get Tahoe or ford but drive is insane and fun the specs outperform V8 and 2 kids is fine for us in space. I seriously don’t get the people who complain if it’s not for you move on and if you need more space move on. It’s a joy of a ride reliability and overall value made it perfect pic for us. Ford Chevy and dodge have nice rides but Toyota has take very very good care of our family ❤️
I'm in the market for an SUV like this. But i'm not buying a new sequoia because of the complicated engine design. I owned an '06 tundra for 13 years and loved it. But i don't like the new toyota vehicles
I agree with some of the comments, like the cargo area and the price especially but we just bought a TRD Pro in July and I have to say we are loving it so far! I've been a dedicated Toyota customer for about 30 years and have had many of them, this is by far the the most expensive and complicated one. I was very hesitant in this purchase given the history of this drive train but if it turns out to be garbage then I'll just trade it in before the warranty expires. I have since lifted it and put bigger tires on it, the stance and ride are so much better! Turbos are the norm now for most manufacturers and need I remind everyone that Toyota used turbos in quite a few vehicles in the 80s-90s and they were awesome. Time will tell.
Now that you have gone through this review so rhoroughly, it has helped me to make up my mind about not getting one. Thanks for this awesome review. You have made me see things that a novice would have overlooked.
Such an amazing truck, driven it before and the power delivery is great. I just couldn’t do the price at the end of the day and bought another 5th Gen 4R Pro
what really strikes me in this video is just how disappointed AMD looks. AMD is passionate about toyota and has talked me into buying a G1 highlander. he isn't "mad" he is "disappointed" and had high hopes. oof..."it's fine..." sounds like nails on the blackboard of shame. toyota you hurt AMD. deep.

I have 4 kids and love toyotas but I think i will have to keep my 2011 Sequoia running forever because I need 3rd row seat space and this new one sucks, so sad because I really was looking forward to owning one in the near future
Test drove one recently. I was very unhappy with interior quality. Cheap plastic, every time you hit a bump it you could hear all the squeaks and interior noises which you shouldn’t have in $80K SUV.
Bought the new 2025 Sequoia TRD Pro (Mudbath) with every option available for the model which is pushing 90k 3 weeks ago. It was a total impulse buy, but many good points here. We are a Lexus family and the Lexus has a much better fit and finish. I talked to my Lexus service advisor and they agreed to do all service that wasn't warranty work. You cannot beat Lexus service. You didn't really get into the ride quality. I like the roar it makes in sport mode, and it is very quick for a 6000lb+ vehicle. 0-60, a little less than 6 seconds, is surprising with an off-road setup. I totally agree with the 3rd Seat, luggage capacity. But you can put up the third seat and stack luggage if necessary. The question I'm asked all the time is do you think it is worth 90k. If you look at other brands, including limited Expeditions, Lincolns etc they are in that price range. This vehicle will hold its value, but that's not why I bought it. I don't care about MPG, I drive in Sport mode getting around 13mpg, as it's just fun as the hybrid and motor work together to crank out a lot of torque. I love the TRD badging everywhere, heck you better feel good about buying this! If anyone is interested in buying one PM me and I'll be glad to answer any questions. Nice review, and stay out of the third row!! haha
The Car care nut, because of your first review of the sequoia and this one, I’ll go with the SR5 trd offroad. You have most of toyota offroad capacity and for 20k less than the pro, you can personalize it the way you want. Sr5 trd offroad are still fully loaded, it has everything I need. I can live with the plastic interior of the trdoffroad ! I do not know in the us, but here clean 2nd gen sequoias price skyrocketed. I just found an sr5 for 66k cad. Prices are crazy also on used and older gen. Big thanks again for the review!
Every review of a hybrid truck or car, makes me so happy I bought a very “old school” 2024 4Runner. I wouldn’t buy any modern hybrid or small turbo engine for that matter.
One of these passed me about a month ago while I was out driving. It was beautiful and I'm interested to hear your take on the quality of its engine. Thank you sir!
I replaced my 4 runner because I wanted more space and sadly the rear cargo is at best the same size as the 4Runner BUT more annoying to use other than that we love it
Great video! I think a big reason for the Sequoia’s lack of ground clearance is that customers expect that their SUVs will fit in a standard American garage. With 3” more of clearance, the Sequoia would be way too tall. Truck buyers have no such illusions.
Another great top-to-bottom review!! And I agree these prices on all Toyotas are ridiculously high…even a Corolla that was $14’s in 2008 are now double that.
The Corolla is also a piece of crap. I had a 2024 as a rental in September and was actually was blown away when I got back in my 2018 Chevy bolt at how unenjoyable the Corolla was to drive
@@coloradoboo1071 you have no idea how many miles mine had 😂 And I was not suggesting that it was rattling or something, it’s just and underpowered, poor handling pile of crap with a terrible nav system that has half assed apple carplay in 2024.
Why is it a hybrid of it's not going to significantly save on MPG. It seems like it just muddied the water. I'm afraid at this cost and the fact the motor could be problematic there is not enough there to warrant consideration.
It isn't really about MPG. They (and by "they" I mean all car makers now) do it to add to the horsepower/torque numbers to attract buyers while still meeting US CAFE standards. Totally robbing Peter to later pay Paul; environmental regulation smoke and mirrors to make the virtue-signaling, climate change people feel better. So you have to deal with paying more for the complexity and parts, batteries and their mining and recycling issues, less room, more weight, more expense to purchase, more cost to insure, etc.
It's a way to pass emissions in the states. It's why we even have turbos to begin with because they are more emissions friendly than an NA engine.... I rather have an NA engine.
Environmental policies run amok. They can't build vehicles of this size anymore without these overly complex hybrid and turbo systems. They're trying to push EV trucks and SUV's, but people don't want them. The automotive industry is a complete mess.
The hybrid system on these cars is not really geared towards fuel economy but rather performance. Gas mileage is probably a little bit better than the outgoing model but the hybrid system ads power.
I love my Subaru Crosstrek, which has none of these problems, even though the Maestro didn’t love the Crosstrek. The Crosstrek, BTW, has enormous cargo capacity…jus’ sayin’…
I completely agree on the rear storage area issue. I owned a first generation Sequoia (sold at 265k because of underbody rust), and I currently own a second generation Sequoia with 210k on it and it's going strong. I love everything about it, and I was really looking forward to buying the third generation in the future. Unfortunately, I love the Sequoia because I am always filling the large rear cargo area to haul things around. The storage space in the rear of the new generation is completely impractical and borderline worthless. The guy who approved this design for Toyota is probably the same clown who designed the Pontiac Aztek and said it was a beautiful vehicle.
The second-generation Toyota Sequoia had advantages in ground clearance, interior space, and ride comfort due to its independent rear suspension, which also made the third row more usable. While the third-generation model brings updates in exterior design, a hybrid powertrain, and improved towing capacity, it compromises in areas important to loyal owners, like material quality and overall comfort. These changes seem more like a facelift than a full upgrade, Feedback from Toyota suggests that maintaining the Sequoia in the lineup required internal advocacy, and it definitely shows!
If you can, please review the F-150. I’d love your thoughts. When you reviewed your Tundra, you said you also looked at an F-150 and were not impressed. It would be great to get details on good and bad, like you did with the Ranger. Very useful video!
Owner of 5.7 2021 sequoia platinum, when i first was shopping for Sequoia i started to look at the whole point which was cargo, and third row, which was just useless, in 2023+ sequoia, and went back and bought 2021, and at that time didn't know about turbo westgate and all that stuff, currently they have metal particles inside 3.4 turbo still with no remedy, couldn't be happier than i picked tried and true 2021 with gigantic third row and flat floor for about 30 000less.
I loved the last gen. Have a 2012. Hope to get a 2021 in a couple years. I hated how the reviewers and magazine articles complained about “old tech - out of date - needs update”. I hate changing for the sake of changing. Last gen was already more complicated than it needed to be. Im ok with FI/turbo if done with longevity in mind, but hybrids are too iffy for me; I doubt they’ll last 20 years without needing $omething expen$ive worked on. I don't even care about mpg that much, I care more about dependability, especially as a vehicle ages. I despise this mindset of “buy new every 4-6 years”. But that’s the way the business works. You want to help the environment? Make cars last. Will help the economy too.
Excellent review. Toyota must not wonder why sales are declining in the future if this is what they're offering at this price point. No, no, no, no. I'll pass, thanks.
The fuel tank looks big, but it's only a 22gal, your Tundra has a 32.2gal tank! For the cargo area, they should offer a 5-pass option like the Expedition STX.
Great car(best looking in the class imo), its all about the cargo.. if that doesnt bother you then its a great buy. Its either this or the new patrol/armada if that doesnt have problems. But im leaning towarda this one.
I have a new tundra trd pro and wife has a Yukon xl denali....Tundra has more power and although I am guessing it won't last as long as the last generation Tundra, it will probably last just as long or longer than the GM 6.2 (even though it's naturally aspirated)....so I like the Tundra powertrain better....I test drove the new Sequoia, and where the Yukon is hands down better is the 3rd row and interior space packaging...(which was a deal breaker for our family since we have 4 kids)....only if they made a Sequoia XL, then I totally would have bought one:)....that Tundra engine is ridiculously fast.
Honestly, the cargo area is the biggest fuck up of this car. It's almost they didn't realize the impact of the battery pack on the 3rd Row until it was too late. Unless you absolutely or specifically need the body-on-frame capability, a Grand Highlander or Sienna makes a lot more sense.
I have a 2020 Sequoia and I did a side by side comparison to a new one. The hybrid battery placement totally ruined the reason for buying this vehicle. There is a ton more space in my old one than the new one, not to even mention the forced option to go hybrid only. I get letters from my dealer all of the time offering for me to trade up to the new one. No thanks!
Great video. But instead of buying a new Sequoia I bought a new Highlander. No matter which Toyota you buy, the Toyota dealers put a lot of pressure on you to buy an extended warranty. My question is do you think extended warranties are worth the cost, and if so do they have a lot of exceptions that are not covered by the warranty?
I was 100% sold on a TRD Pro and now I've completely backed away from it. By all accounts its MPG is poor (nearly as bad as the V8s), the third row is as useless as a mid-sizer and the storage is completely compromised even with the seats up. Even the second row seating is compromised, particularly if you have the panoramic sunroof. If anyone is tall in the second row (with the Sunrood) there's a chance they're going to rub the headliner. So it's a vehicle full of compromises and after all of that, you're paying 85K and getting very few accoutrements. Toyota were on the right track with the look and the engine, but they botched it completely but shoehorning in an inefficient hybrid.
The fuel tank may look massive because it's narrow, but the small capacity (only 22.5 gallons) is a common complaint from Sequoia owners, who feel like they are constantly refilling their tank. It's smaller than every other vehicle in the full-size category.
I love your channel. N look up to you as a professional. I’ve a question for you. Where did u acquire this knowledge on cars? N what’s your thoughts on upcoming mechanics/electritions. Is it a good career still. I think it’s.
Can you make a video on: So you flushed your transmission. How do you know if it's all good or you just destroyed it? Real life footage/examples of what a torque converter shudder sounds like, what a transmission slip feels and looks like, etc
Thx AMD for your honest review. I would buy a Tahoe, Yukon, Cadillac for so many reasons there are to many to list. You don’t even get dual quad exhaust? I really don’t like the floating iPad sitting on the dash. This will have to have the engine replaced for recall reasons in the future even though it’s not involved in the recall right now because it’s a hybrid ( DEAL BREAKER ). Shorter wheel base usually equals a rocky ride ( Jeep Wrangler ). I can’t believe they used 2 MAF sensors and intake runners which should make this more difficult in the future to diagnose drivability issues. UGH Toyota! I could go on and on but I’ll stop here. Oh the third row is a joke.
Be interesting to see how these recalled twin turbo v6s end up. Feel like the bearing failures are only the beginning. Too bad Toyota truck prices are so high. Pretty much unaffordable to the average person right now. Also looks like the DIYer is quickly becoming a thing of the past.
Do you believe that the skid plate not covering where the radiator and fan are located is because they need that area open for air cooling? Since this engine and hybrid system is a twin turbo, you need all of the possible cooling available. It almost looks like the skid plate is an air ram for the cooling system. And since you have multiple cooling systems that could be their motive.
My Sequoia's 5.7L has everything an old school truck has, and tows a lighter non slide 30ft camper with ease. Reliable and 16.7mpg, im fastidious about maint, it will just last. Im not sure the new one will be, too complicated.

Cafe
It's prohibitively expensive today to make cars of the same quality as 1990s and early 2000s Toyotas. They have no choice but to cut back. Otherwise the cars would be even more expensive.
But I refuse to buy a Kia or a Hyundai... They look good, but are still disposable cars.
26:10 when car care nut goes to roasting instead of "ok" you know its messed up
“very interesting”
It takes a real man to call the vehicle type that he owns “a disaster” (26:45). That’s serious honesty 🙏
Great review which helps this family feel smart by sticking with our non-hybrid non-CVT 2021 Toyota 4Runner. Please keep the great videos coming as we aim to continue carefully maintaining our Toyota for the next two decades!
best reviews on youtube! keep them coming!
This is how you review a car. I like it ❤
The most important thing to me as a SUV buyer is that the trunk is flat when all the seats are folded down.
I’m glad that we found a leftover 23 Tacoma TRD OR DC, 6’ bed with the Premium and Technology pkgs.
I’m getting up in years and drive 8-10K miles per year so I’ll be driving my 23 TRD until I die.
The more new Toyota videos I watch, the more reassured I feel with my 2024 4Runner TRD ORP purchase. Feels like a tank! Hope to drive it for 20 years or so.

Taking my chances on old school for the long run.
Early fluid changes and Fluid Film to prevent rust.
@@Urban-Explorer365I’d imagine the most reliable Toyota product would be a Land Cruiser, not the budget 4Runner.
@@AA-vr8ez Might wanna research the head gasket issue on the Land Cruiser which the 4Runner doesn't have.
The latest gen Sequoia and Tacoma really make it clear how much the quality has dropped, especially considering these costs.
The third row/cargo area is a disaster in a vehicle of this size.
Seems like the hybrid system doesn’t benefit the truck very much but resulted in considerable additional drivetrain complication and interior packaging compromises. 👎🏻
Same in land cruiser with very high load floor (though not as bad)
Not to mention the added weight.
CAFE

They went woke due to the environmental regulations, and a side effect of that is these trucks are becoming insanely expensive
It's a "racing" sequoia...Perfect for beating out the other hulking monstrosities for that grocery parking spot.
The acceleration of 0-60 in 5.5 sec is crazy, only thing faster is a Durango SRT but this thing is 700lbs heavier
@@MJ-5k Explorer ST 5.2. 20+K less.
Honesty, it felt like the Germans got hold of it
Ridiculous, I bet the 40k intervals is due to all the heat being trapped. They probably can last 120k but they’ll seize solid to the head
@LibertyOrD___h probably, honestly, the driver side was probably worse because they put a purge solenoid right on top of the ignition coil that clips in.
Damn, that's trash.
i bought a highlander in 22, everything ive seen about these trucks makes me so glad i didnt go for one of these. if they put a bigger battery and a usable EV motor to save on gas these wouldve been a better argument than they are.
Yup.
Cash for the aging Tacoma, 4runner, Sequoia and Tundra hence creation of TRD Pro
Was interested in Toyota Sequoia but can't buy until the back storage is flat. It's a deal breaker. Hoping you plan on a review for 2025 Nissan Armada. You know your stuff and what you say is extremely helpful!
admire your honesty and telling it like it is.👌👍
Got it and absolutely love it ❤️!!!!!
AMD, Now that we know full-time 4WD is compatible with Toyota's heavy-duty Hybrid powertrains, I wish it was offered on the Sequoia. 🤞🤞
Still baffles me why they don’t have that like the Expedition or Tahoe does. Probably a dealbreaker for a lot of people including me😢
Reduced fuel economy if permanent
Maybe they will give it to the Capstone🤣
@@rightlanehog3151 U must like front diff replacements
Toyota is just oddly sporadic on where it offers it. The new Land Cruiser has it standard on all models but the new 4Runner TRD Pro doesn’t offer it.
Bro isn't gonna be invited to the barbecue anymore
When AMD says "again". Pause
Followed by "it's OK" regarding the recovery hooks says it all for what an off road should have!
what really strikes me in this video is just how disappointed AMD looks. AMD is passionate about toyota and has talked me into buying a G1 highlander. he isn't "mad" he is "disappointed" and had high hopes. oof..."it's fine..." sounds like nails on the blackboard of shame. toyota you hurt AMD. deep.
@@andrewright111075 Can't go wrong with Gen 1 highlander. Miss mine. Keep it maintained and don't drive thru southern utah past dusk(deer got mine in kanab) and u can keep it forever!
I have 4 kids and love toyotas but I think i will have to keep my 2011 Sequoia running forever because I need 3rd row seat space and this new one sucks, so sad because I really was looking forward to owning one in the near future
Should’ve offer trd pro in 5 seater and big trunk to utilize would have been great.
Test drove one recently. I was very unhappy with interior quality. Cheap plastic, every time you hit a bump it you could hear all the squeaks and interior noises which you shouldn’t have in $80K SUV.
Toyota quality dropped for made in USA vehicles
Toyota gone backwards with new vehicles!!!
AMD, thank you very much for your insight. This is Abbas, one of your many, many fans!
I was considering buying this car, but i decided to get a land cruiser 200 instead. Im very happy with my purchase.
Every review of a hybrid truck or car, makes me so happy I bought a very “old school” 2024 4Runner. I wouldn’t buy any modern hybrid or small turbo engine for that matter.
i've got a 2013 4-Runner c/ 100K on it. Will keep it near "forever." Never had an issue and only do routine maintenance.
Can’t believe Toyota just subscribed to this channel in 2024.
One of these passed me about a month ago while I was out driving. It was beautiful and I'm interested to hear your take on the quality of its engine. Thank you sir!
It certainly is good looking
It's too complicated lmao, it's obvious. This drivetrain is a disaster
Junk
not as good as it should be for the price
@@Jay-me7gw Actually, rental cars are the most abused and neglected cars anywhere…go drive one at a dealership
@@coloradoboo1071 you have no idea how many miles mine had 😂
And I was not suggesting that it was rattling or something, it’s just and underpowered, poor handling pile of crap with a terrible nav system that has half assed apple carplay in 2024.
Blame CAFE
I’ll keep my 2021 Trd pro sequoia for a while
I have one. But my trim is probably the best. Limited with TRD Off-road package.
Technology changes Every day ❤❤
I completely agree on the rear storage area issue.
1st thought, wow this is not ugly. Is it me or Toyotas are starting to look better and better.
Sir AMD can you please do a review of the gr 86, God bless.
So complicated that I wouldn’t want to fix it after the warranty period. Another disposable car!
Reviewers ruin everything as they're always in search of the next shiny new thing
If you don't mind dealing with repairs, the answer is YES
Excellent review. Toyota must not wonder why sales are declining in the future if this is what they're offering at this price point. No, no, no, no.

The fuel tank looks big, but it's only a 22gal, your Tundra has a 32.2gal tank! For the cargo area, they should offer a 5-pass option like the Expedition STX.
My tundra has 38 gallons..
@@ironrain1x Yeah, 38gal was on the previous generation, the new platform as a 22.5 or 32.2 gallons depending of options.

Also expedition Timberline bro . Don't forget the big daddy
I have a new tundra trd pro and wife has a Yukon xl denali....Tundra has more power and although I am guessing it won't last as long as the last generation Tundra, it will probably last just as long or longer than the GM 6.2 (even though it's naturally aspirated)....so I like the Tundra powertrain better....I test drove the new Sequoia, and where the Yukon is hands down better is the 3rd row and interior space packaging...(which was a deal breaker for our family since we have 4 kids)....only if they made a Sequoia XL, then I totally would have bought one:)....that Tundra engine is ridiculously fast.
wife's Denali is a 2023
Looks really good but interior feels small especially the cargo area. Wish could switch the grand highlander interior. 😅
I concur that the cargo area is an insult for a truck of this size and price
I have a 2020 Sequoia and I did a side by side comparison to a new one. The hybrid battery placement totally ruined the reason for buying this vehicle. There is a ton more space in my old one than the new one, not to even mention the forced option to go hybrid only. I get letters from my dealer all of the time offering for me to trade up to the new one. No thanks!
They need a Non-hybrid option - maybe at mid-cycle refresh?

Great vid as always! I want to love this model. But, if I’m spending this money, I’m getting a GX550 or a Land Cruiser. It’s a complete no-brainer.
Report from Florida. The sales of airboats has skyrocketed
No , Im looking for the last v8 sequoia,2022 , because I’m going to keep it for 20 years .
Turbos = trouble = expensive repairs
The fuel tank may look massive because it's narrow, but the small capacity (only 22.5 gallons) is a common complaint from Sequoia owners, who feel like they are constantly refilling their tank. It's smaller than every other vehicle in the full-size category.
I love your channel. N look up to you as a professional.
I’ve a question for you.
Where did u acquire this knowledge on cars?
N what’s your thoughts on upcoming mechanics/electritions.
Is it a good career still.
I think it’s.
Can you make a video on:
So you flushed your transmission. How do you know if it's all good or you just destroyed it? Real life footage/examples of what a torque converter shudder sounds like, what a transmission slip feels and looks like, etc
If you want a Sequoia, just go for a SR5 and opt for the TRD package; if you really want to go off-road, compromise with a used LC or comparable.
I BELIEVE IT'S MORE FOR TOWING, AND OF ROAD.
new mic? new audio engineer? sounds fantastic
Did my man say 83 thousand dollars?? For a hybrid turbo v6??? 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂.
That's what he said.
Be interesting to see how these recalled twin turbo v6s end up. Feel like the bearing failures are only the beginning. Too bad Toyota truck prices are so high. Pretty much unaffordable to the average person right now. Also looks like the DIYer is quickly becoming a thing of the past.
The shelf is for when the seats are folded so we can have a smooth rear deck
Do you believe that the skid plate not covering where the radiator and fan are located is because they need that area open for air cooling? Since this engine and hybrid system is a twin turbo, you need all of the possible cooling available. It almost looks like the skid plate is an air ram for the cooling system. And since you have multiple cooling systems that could be their motive.
Keep your old vehicles running. Love my 2005 Tacoma V6.
Thanks for another great review!
Toyota should bring back the V8 and do away with all the planned obsolescence. Great video.
Heck no, engine is going to grenade, plus it's way over priced. I'll keep my 14 sequoia with a nice proven V8

This is just a family SUV, with no trunk space, and cheap parts. It should cost 50k maximum.
Does any of this matter ,when the engine is expected to grenade express 50,000 miles?
