- The unexpectable happened... DPF got clogged and car threw a 480, 481 error requiring DPF replacement. I heard that it can be cleaned chemically. I did that and ran active regeneration on a highway. It cured problem.

I just fixed mine too with similar methods. Feel so happy my car is back to normal. DPF work is expensive. Back to petrol with my next car. 😉

Robert van Wezel do you know the location where to spray the cleaner to? I can’t seem to find where to spray the tube too
Great video and thanks for posting! I know you did this quite some time ago and you may not fully remember, but I have the exact same problem and year/model E70. My problem is I'm not sure where to spray the liquid moly into. I have the equipment (pressurized gun, liquid moly etc)....Think you c an give me a few additional ideas or even a picture of where to put this stuff! #ALLHELPMATTERS !!

Hello bro got the same problems on x6 could you tell me the name of scanner and how much if poss bro and cool vid the last diesel bmw I ever buy all so put TCA ARMS AND WISHBONES on your car and it will be like driving a new car and tyers will last longer

i have same problem and i dont know shall i change it or just clean it ?my question after cleaning how many km you had no error ? and did you replaced with new one ? thanks
It reappeared after 100 km. Cleaning is useless. Change it or remove it completely.
How is the car now? What is the scanner that you were showing? Can yo provide the model?
I used scanner sold on ECStuning. The cleaning did not help. Threw error again and I had to remove DPF.
So in conclusion, what you did in the video was a temporary fix? And you ended up replacing the DPF?
yes, temporary fix. in the end I just removed DPF and reprogrammed
Cleaning filter did not help. I ended up removing DPF and reprogramming ECU. The scanner I bought is from ECStuning.com.
Do You need to reprogram the ECU after changing the DPF? And where did you buy the DPF?
Hi, interesting video. How many km had the car when the problem appeared ? I saw that the problem had reappeared and you had a dpf off, does your car smoke now ? Did you leave the cat in place ?

Razvan .G yes. After removing DPF the car will smoke and not pass MOT. DPF = cat

La berdad es que este tipo de trabajo no todos tienen una computadora ni ban a correr por la autopista en realidad estos catalizaron una mierda y están rompiendo estos carro lo los motores o si no baciarlos todo un trabajo y in costoso para muchísimos esto es porquería
