I've found that after a short run after the clean and the programming of a new filter fitted, the mbar's can drop even more after a natural rolling road regeneration,
I have a 2012 X5d (N. American model) .....I've the same DPF problem (I think) but am having difficulty locating the hose/sensor connection....I know its in the same area but it seems they did some slight mods......any suggestions (I can send a pic from the same angle you hooked up yours if it helps)?
I did not. I looked extensively but just can't seem to locate it. I'm now making plans with my mechanic to remove the DPF and running it as a straight diesel in the coming weeks. Hate to do this without first trying the cleaner, but its getting to that point@@kucickula
Jimmy..That launch cleaner is some stuff. Good result for someone driving the vehicle for a year with the fault lights on..

Yes it does 100 percent
Just a heads up jimmy my x5 reads the same fluctuations between 8 to 12 mbar
Glow plug module needs replacing as that can cause the it to block too
Can this method also remove ash? is it only to unblock the dpf that has been clogged? very good job, best regards
That pressure seemed really high before you worked your magic. Whats the highest you’ve seen before Jimmy?
Should the DPF backpressure pipe/hose be hollow? I tried to blow through it and it appears to be clogged?
Hi, where is the DpF pressure sensor in north American X5 2012?

He was probably afraid of the BMW premium to get it fixed that's why he drove it for a year without getting it fixed
maybe it needs a carbon clean 😆
