Freddie was once asked in an interview "what is your favorite instrument to play?" and his answer was "the audience!" Freddie Mercury was one of the greatest live performers ever! RIP
It's a 23min long but you should watch live aid, queen...stole the show
good recommendation. It was really good
Totally haha.
@@Wings_of_foam WHAT!!!
greatest performance of all time. They didnt steal the show, they stole the whole damn city.
Queen live at Wembley in 1986 was the best live show ever!
You wanna see Freddie work a HUGE crowd?!!! Live Aid 1985!!!!!!
And it needs to be their performance of radio gaga!!! One of the absolute best live performances ever!!!
Why does everyone go strait for the 21 minute Live Aid performance in 1985 and not 1hr 41minute The Magic Tour at Wembley Stadium in 1986... Both are great but if you want a almost 2 hour long Queen rollercoaster ride of greatness then check out the 1986 live show. You know what, i bet 50% to 60% of people don't realise there is 2 different show's as they were both filmed at Wembley Stadium and Live Aid is usually what pop's up first
@@republicofcasuals
But the Live Aid performance was more significant because it wasn't a audience of Queen fans.
Haaaaaaaaayooooo
@@davidkeenan5642 you're right, but Queen has always got their show full too.
Give it up for the drummer doing vocals and drumming! Wow! Underrated!
Shout outs to drummer Roger Taylor for backing vocals and a killer drum performance!!!
Bet! ✨✨✨
The only one which never took lead vocals was John Deacon , Brian May and Roger Taylor took lead on a few songs
Roger Taylor!!! Still rockin’ it. Absolute legend
Roger Taylor is anything but NOT underrated my little millennium kiddo.
No auto tunes, no track, just four extremely talented musicians!
god your such an out of touch with reality boomer
@@georgefantano4396 back in the day there wasn't autotune
@@julesmigellmapayeampobartl9989 yeah auto tune was created in 1997 so any song before that didn’t have auto tune so this song and other Queen songs did not have it
@@deondraemorris7603 indeed
Again that superfluous "autotune" comment. Hardly any serious musician uses autotune today.
Queen Freddie Mercury is quite arguably the greatest singer of all time. We lost a passionate, beautiful soul. His music is his love letter to the world
Dude, thats Freddie freaking Mercury!!
And he sang like that to the end...
Let’s not forget John Deacon, Brian May And Roger Taylor. Freddie often said he wasn’t the leader of Queen, but a member of Queen. Humble and amazing!
@@dcg590 Of course not. Queen was all of them, I was speaking only in respect to Freddies voice and ability to push through anything for their music.
Saw him twice in Atlanta1
It's unfair how much talent was on that stage...
But it sure was great to witness it , huh? We got hit with a full dose of greatness with these guys.
Queen is one the best bands ever , his voice is phenomenal
Thanks for that
I think it's a shame that you never hear about the vocal talents of their drummer Roger Taylor. When you here those really high falsetto's in their songs, it's him.
You are right Roger was a great singer, but not all of the high falsettos are Roger. That is a misconception,, both Roger and Freddie had very high falsettos.
Rest in heavenly peace Freddie Mercury...you can never be replaced and you are missed by those who loved you.
👨🏻👑🎼🎧🎤🍺🥂
I have been a Queen fan since the 1970’s, lol, yes I’m old but still frisky!! Love you both!
And those yet to discover you.
Shout out to Roger Taylor (the drummer) for his amazing backing vocals and incredible drumming, he is often very underrated and he was wonderful in this performance as well, not a lot of people point that out. If you wanna hear him sing you should check out I’m In Love With My Car from this same concert, he has an amazing voice!
He also wrote/co-wrote many of their songs. When it comes to drummers who are just solid well rounded MUSICIANS, not just drummers, I would put him right up with Neal Peart and that's high praise
Freddie Mercury was the ultimate showman and commanded attention on stage like few others. RIP
He had beer, water and tea on the piano. I think he was drunk only once on stage and that was from drinking before a show. Freddie was a true professional. And, talented as hell.
Check out Freddie Legless lol
If I remember correctly, Ratty Hince, his roadie, said he also drank water with lemon and honey to soothe his throat while on stage.
The best male vocalist ever.
Love Queen!!! Y’all should check out their Live Aid performance.
Freddies crowd control a billion and they weren't even the card for live aid thats when you know your good when you can take over a show that you weren't even supposed to be apart of
"They sound real good" - and this was live, no autotune, just raw, incredible talent. And as another commenter pointed out, most of those drinks were tea with honey for his voice, lol. This entire concert was amazing.
Some of the drinks are for his voice ,some are ,well, just drink!John Deacon (/ ( the bass player )would drink throughout and get quietly drunk but still play to perfection
Isn’t it amazing that his voice is so good ,live ,no auto tune !
When you're born to do a thing, you barely have to be conscious to do it to perfection.
@Phantom Freeze Gotta watch out for the soft-spoken bassists. ;)
Tea with honey and lemon.
@@0okamino Literally Bill Wyman
One of the best vocalists of all time, R.I.P.
End still gives me chills. There is no immunity I've probably heard this 1000 times. 🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋
You know something else that's amazing about this band? Brian May, guitar, backing vocals and primary song writer is also Dr. Brian May. A prize winning PHD Physicist. So in addition to all that talent, he's a genius scientist too. And you are right. Sold out damn near every concert they did! Four of the most talented musicians ever! And please please "Who wants to live forever" by them is amazing! A lady I responded to and liked her comment suggested a live version! Have to give her credit.
Also wrote their own songs! Every one wrote a hit. Dr May is my favorite songwriter ever! His guitar playing is sublime as well. So much talent in this group! Who wants to live forever is amazing
Astro physicist aka a rocket scientist to be more precise .
Ive seen many concerts live.
I ve seen Queen. At MSG. In NYC. in 79.
I was afraid the building would collapse.
So much fan interaction.
Best concert ever!
And ive seen many!!!
Freddie always dreamed of singing Opera. A Must is Barcelona!
Love hearing Rodger sing in this song..he was a really good voice for the band! 🐘🐘
So good.
His backing vocals really added to the performance. Very underated!
Freddy was simply the GOAT of rock and rock singers.
Hey I requested this after your first Queen reaction. This is the brilliance of Mr. Mercury. This song was inspired by Aretha Franklin
Try Who Wants To Love Forever live at Wembley. Hos voice stirs the soul. This so
I'll have to look that one up. Who wants to live forever is an amazing song and it live? Yes please!
It was AMAZING Thank you Lil Miles
You are so welcome
Yes! Never a bad song with Queen. Freddie was incredible vocally and a ball of energy. Y'all made my day.
Queen does have bad songs. Not all of them are good, IMO.
New to UA-cam, remember this all those years ago, great video guys, as an Englishman I hope you enjoy Queen like we all did! Long live Freddie ❤️
They were the greatest and will always be remembered
If you have not seen it, Queen's performance at Live Aid is considered the best performance of all time. They blow all the greatest artists of the time out of water that performed that concert
The drummer adds the killer falsetto. All so vocally talented with Freddie being the GOAT. Love how you guys have such a great time, krakow, blam!!
The drummer Roger Taylor has an awesome voice that blended so well with Freddie.
Fun fact...Superman wears a Freddie Mercury shirt
RIGHT?
Freddie mercury is one of the greats. Hard to find a song I dont like that he sang.
Even if there were any flaws in the music, Freddie's charisma overpowers it.
Even when Freddie's voice cracked it was in key aha
Freddy was a genuine 💎! And the fact that Brian May (lead guitarist) is now an astrophysicist is CRAZY!!
Freddie had such an incredible voice he was not just a singer he was a feeling, when he sings you feel in your soul. His voice was scientifically studied. He was deemed the greatest singer of time. Please react to Who Wants To Live Forever live at Wembley, and Love of my Life Wembley live, you will see the power of this mans voice. BTW You Two are so cute together.
Not only is the performance & singing incredible, but his lyrics are so meaningful & poetic
My favorite band of all time!! I wish we hadn’t lost Freddie when we did, and see what he could’ve continued doing 😢
Look at the crowd at Wembley: NOW I'M HERE...crazy. freddie and the band gave 200% because he loved his fans and knew his wealth came from his fans...he acknowledges this in his song We are the Champions: "You gave me, fame and fortune and everything that goes with it ; I thank you all" and the fans would acknowledge these lines of the song.
Most of those drinks on his piano were honey and lemon to keep his vocal chords going
Amazing performance !!!
I was entirely fascinated by the greatest band , Queen !!!
This is my favourite live performances ever from Queen ❤️❤️ I feel the passion and the enjoyment of the music coming from all the band. Who can't help loving Queen?? ❤️❤️❤️
Incredible voice, incredible stage presence, incredible musicians and incredible songs what else can you say about Queen then INCREDIBLE.
there are musicians, there are artists, there are performers, and then there are legends!!!
And then there is Queen!
@@musiclover9361 and then there is Freddie Mercury
@@sheldonfernandes8286, that's just cheating, bro. Freddie was not of us!
Yesyesyes, thankyou!! So much love for Queen and my favourite reactors. Queen were epic live. I suggest their Live Aid Performance for charity. It was for the famine in Ethiopië. I hope you love it. Much bless to You ❤ Big hug from Holland
You definitely need to watch their whole Live Aid performance. Gives me chills everytime.
First time, every time. Great reaction, greatest live music. Freddie is the reason I discovered this, but ... all four of them wrote hits (nr 1), and they all delivered whenever they hit the stage. Queen.
Never fails to make me smile. Their live performances are legendary. Fun reaction.
I strongly urge you to watch the entire Queen set from Live Aid 1985. Its about 20 minutes, but its possibly the greatest live set by a rock band ever
As good as it was, i prefer the 1986 The Magic Tour live show. Same stage at Wembley but almost 2 hr's of GREATNESS!
@@republicofcasuals i definitely agree with you. I just figured the Live Aid set would be perfect for ppl just still discovering them. Live at Wembley on cassette got worn out in my deck back in 1993!
@@duaneshank6788 Yea i also agree that the Live Aid show is a must see for anyone new to Queen and at 21 minutes it's a good length for reactors. I got the Live At Wembley (25th Anniversary Edition) on DVD like almost 10 years ago now probably and i still love throwing it up on the big screen after a few drinks and rocking out. It's literally 2hr's of perfection 😁
One of the best experiences in my life, was seeing QUEEN live, & thank you for bringing that excitement back!!! I'm not sure if you know, just how much of a positive impact you guys have on your viewers!!! ❤️ 🧡 💛 💚 💙 💜 ***THANK YOU***
Lucky Lucky - What was your favorite song?
@@debramoore7513 Hard question because I love so many, but I would have to say, Bohemian Rhapsody....their live performance of that song, I will take with me to my next life!!! 💚 💙 💜
Roger Taylor on drums and singing those high vocals!!!
This is one of the best live performances he ever done.
Freddie should still be with us, such musical genius, and you guys said, such range
I grow up with queen's music, he's just great,
Each member of Queen wrote hit songs for the group.
That gorgeous, sexy, beautiful, luminous man at the piano with that outstanding vocals is none other than the one and only Freddie Mercury, aka Mr. Farenheit himself 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
All band members were fabulous, singing and playing their instruments. It was a band made in heaven 🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡
Always awesome and I have heard this performance at least a hundred time. Shout out to Queen!! The whole band rocked this perfrmance.
Yea gotta do live aid! Itll be a longer video but worth it!
You guys should really react to Queen “You’re my Best Friend” - reminds me of your relationship.
The live aid performance was awsome. my favorite from that performance of his vocal skills and entertaining his audience being under pressure
Freddie loved loved loved Aretha Franklin - hence the gospel-y vibe... wrote this with her in mind. My favorite! Great reaction!!
One of the best British singers ever ,he was born in India, emigrated too Britain. He never used being gay, to make himself famous.
I believe this was recorded in Montreal, my hometown and, I went to every Queen concert so, I was probably part of that audience. Queen was always amazing to see live.
Freddy Mercury is one of the best performers I have seen and at my age, I've seen a lot of them. I was thrilled by this performance and also a performance by Jordan Smith on the Voice a few years back. He really rocked this song, too!
They'll never be another Freddie Mercury. May he rest at peace. I got my 1st Queen album when I was 8 or 9 years old. The album was The Game. Another one Bites the Dust was a hit at the skating rink!! The 80's was a blast!
Thanks for bringing your beautiful vibes into my home…!!!
I'm going to jump in with everyone else: watch the 23 minute Live Aid segment with Queen. The were at the absolute top of their game, and at the top of the Rock world. You've never someone in such control of a crowd (and OMG, the numbers in that crowd....).
I think he wrote that song in five minutes in the bathtub. He had crazy talent. RIP.
Only saw your reaction now but it seams that you have started to be hypnotized by the Queen'spell.
If you please, I would like to see your reaction to Queen's masterpice Bohemian Raposody.
Greatings from Portugal 🇵🇹
The Drinks of the whole Band always stands on the Piano! So many people think Freddie drinks it all!
Wrong. Deacy had a little bar back him with much drinking, he had a drinkingproblem. Brian and Roger had beer and whater standing behaind Roger. Freddie had 1 beer he took smal sip from, whater, warm whater with sitron and honey, thea with sitron and honey and somtimes juice. He was drunk one time on scene, he sang Bo Raphs. It is/was on YT. And all the people who work on stage altso have their drink on Freddies piano.
I would love a reaction to Queen's Live Aid performance. You've both commented on Freddie's ability to command the audience, what he does at Live Aid is at a completely different level.
There will never be anybody like Freddie!! Loved& missed!
His mic 🎤 rod is iconic to him because the mic stands was broken at there first gig, but instead of getting a new one it became part of his shows...
Love you Freddie,R.I.P. legend❤️🎸🎤
Y’all make me smile every time I watch you all. And holy crap did Freddie sing the crap out of ’Somebody To Love’ - it gave me goosebumps.
This is one of those songs/performances that will never get old or boring. Freddie Forever. ❤️
hey!
I came by the "home page" (recommended) and I'm learning English, so ...
thanks for this video,
good vibess, like you :)
Thanks. Saw Queen in Brisbane Australia at the now knocked down Festival Hall in 1977 or 1976. Status Quo fan but this was the best concert of my life. Bohemian Rhapsody was a world wide hit two months prior. Stunning concert. Raw but outstanding. Almost deaf for 2 days and after that ringing in my ears. Freddie wore a body hugging white body suit. Greatness was still coming. Only about 2,000 at the concert but the hall was full. Freddies voice got better. It was an operatic voice. Possibly the best voice ever. yet to see any singer go for 90 minutes with a great great voice.
Freddie is the Emperor of all rock music. Thank you Freddie, Half and Jai. THis is beyond amazing.
My favourite song by Queen. Love all your reactions
I'm so happy to see younger black people hearing Queen"s music because they are one of the best rock groups that was ever formed from " Another One Bites the Dust" to " Bohemian Rhapsody " this group have so many hits
It was really a blessing when I twice had the opportunity to see them live in concert in Vienna, Austria - I will never forget that extraordnary performance they gave. I always liked them as a school kid. And I even love them more than ever before. I miss Freddie, his talents, accurancy and awsome melodies. This year on November 24th it is already 30 years ago since he passed away. R.I.P. Your Majesty ...
I'm jealous. Favorite band from day 1. Watch their concerts everyday. Even have a Queen room. Long live Queen
In the paper cups was tea and honey for his voice, the clear cups were beer. He talked about this during an interview on British Tv because everyone had always been asking him about his drinking on stage. He was more worried about his voice than drinking. The best band I ever heard play.
i am loving watching a new generation enjoying the music i grew up with! keep up the great work guys! big love to all people :)
you should react to a lot more lives of them... live aid or also wembley in 86
Greatest live performance hands down
Freddie is, was and will be the greatest for ever.
You can certainly hear why Freddie called Roger ''the dog whistle'' ! Roger so often also helped Freddie's vocals out when he needed it . . and his drumming wow !
That NEVER gets old!!!! I think this was my favorite reaction I have seen from ya'll.... You both made the same facial expression of disbelief at one point and I lost it!! :)
NEVER!
Played like an encore..... but this was only the 4th song of a 28 song setlist the night this was shot. Amazing.
The flamboyant Freddie Mercury nobody could sing like this man and range God gives talent to those he really loves.
Check out Queen's Live Aid performance. Talkin' about what?! I saw them here at the Los Angeles Forum in 2019, I think. They were amazing! Adam Lambert took Freddie's place.🎶👵🏿👍🏾♥️
The only band who could mix classical, opera, rock and pop music in their songs.
Fun fact: Queen guitarist Brian May is an astrophysicist. He studied physics and mathematics at Imperial College London, graduating with a BSc degree. His PhD investigated radial velocity using absorption spectroscopy and doppler spectroscopy of zodiacal light using a Fabry-Pérot interferometer based at the Teide Observatory in Tenerife.
Which basically means he's a pretty smart guy.
Ive been to 2 Queens concerts,totally unforgetable.ur reaction was awesome.thank you.x
Love you two and i respect you SO much for seeing and enjoying the talent that is QUEEN.
If you want to see his full vocal range, react to "Exercises in free love". It's awesome. He's sings "opera". It will blow your mind!!!
Brian May-Guitar,Roger Taylor-Drums,John Deacon-Bass and Freddie Mercury-Vocals=every one majored in College like Brian-Astrophysics,Freddie-Design,Roger-Dental Hygiene and John-Engineering
Great reaction guys. I was so lucky that got to see Queen at the Live Aid concert back in the 80's. I was meant to see them again at Wembley Stadium in 86 but my girlfriends (now wife) bag got snatched on the way along with the tickets and so never got to go. Keep knocking these videos out. Great job
Great reaction.Pls more Queen.
We still love you Freddie.
Pls do Who Want To Live Forever.
You won't regret it.
As a 46 year old white dude, I love seeing younger people (and people of color) discovering Queen. They were truly amazing, especially live. Freddie has probably the best voice EVER.
