"No correction needed" was something a tad bit larger than it initially appears. The reason why this clarification was sent was because people were auto correcting "candy to copper" and instead saying "candy to cooper". The message was then sent and people figured out the gift thing from there.

I am so disappointed. I hope this isn't the end but the beginning but it feels like it is indeed the end. All that build up, encrypted messages were just too much for this. We legit thought they were going to announce something big. I hope we are all wrong and something significant is on the way...

They have a 7 year anniversary rn that could be all there was to all these teasers but it’s still not the 28th so who knows. BTW 7 year anniversary brings back a whole bunch of old modes that are super fun!
For me nothing is off the table but cynicism and history demands I not set expectations too far. It could be a lot of things some are more likely than others but I will at least walk away happy if the only thing is "we ported all the Titanfall 1 maps to 2" so hopefully my expectation bar is at a reasonable level.
Respawn has built a bomb with this whole thing. If they don’t handle this situation right then it could be a disaster.
The fan base did the same thing the Star Wars fan base did build something up with no evidence that it was going to be what they wanted and are all about to be so disappointed
It’s just a anniversary event on Titanfall 2 I’m happy that’s what we need to be as a community happy that they are working on the game again

i was skeptical about it being related to conduit, when Valkyrie came out who has more of a connection to titanfall than conduit we didnt get anything like this
I think I'd prefer Titanfall on Source 2 over Titanfall 3, honestly. Titanfall 2 is already perfect and I'm afraid they won't be able to recapture it with a new game, considering pretty much all the actual Titanfall devs have left respawn by now.

At this point id almost rather see tf2 being updated back into existence instead of a 3rd. new maps, new modes, more ported maps from tf1, man even a forge mode (my absolute number 1 wishlist item for tf2 or 3) with custom game matchmaking would breath so much more life into the game. Theyve never done this for any other of the game's anniversaries before so im hoping its something more, its too out of the blue and random for them to randomly care about the fans again like this... Its been very nice to have them patch the game and give us some attention dont get me wrong, but the randomness of it gives me a tiny bit of hope for something more D:
I don’t see how updating the game with new stuff is going to increase the Small player base, people want a new game my self included not saying I wouldn’t be happy with that but for EA’s monetary gain that doesn’t make sense unless it’s paid stuff.

Skirmish has been a mode in Titanfall its basically attrition without grunts.
I can't believe people thought something big was going to happen on a Saturday. The game industry never does anything big on a random weekend. It's important to remember how recently Titanfall Legends was canceled. It's probably gonna be a bit before we get real news on Titanfall.
Remember, Apex legends drop? Out of nowhere nobody was expecting it.

As much as I'd love another titanfall game, i absolutely love playing the second game respawn have clearly shown us that if it's in their best interest to focus on another game they would leave titanfall 3 in the gutter to focus on something that's generating more revenue and give false promises that "help is coming" etc. The lack of care they had for the community then was shocking and I don't even want to go into the fact that they were selling a game that didn't even work for a significant period of time as well as putting it on sale. Their ignorance and lack of action would be the downfall of the third game and I really hope that all this buildup is for some other game that they've got in the works and they never release another titanfall. They've misled the community before, I'm confident that's what's happening now.
Just remember there was a security vulnerability allowing attackers to kick anyone they wanted from the servers, even with vpns and alt accounts. That would have not been patched if apex wasn't attacked. Wasn't even really attacked, yet that was enough for them to knuckle down and fix the issue. Don't mess with their beloved apex.
If it turns out just to be the anniversary mode and nothing else, I can guarantee there will be an angry mob of schizophrenic TF2 fans outside Respawn's offices.
There's only so much teasing until we eventually get blueballed.

Honestly? At this point, I would actually prefer if they stop all the "teases". It's getting a bit tiresome and beginning to border on degrading. Either say they are working on TF3 or say that they aren't. Enough dancing around the issue like a madman who just got his morning crack.

This comment is being posted at 12:00 am u.s time on the 7th anniversary of Titanfall 2, October 28-29 2023. Im waiting, for the supposed release of Titanfall 3. All of this and last months hype is coming to a close. We got a new update, and a few new game modes today. And apex got a new legend. Will Titanfall get what it deserves? Or will ea and respawn's greed prevent this choice. As of now i do not know. Nothing has happened. Nothing has changed. It would be damn foolish to not give us Titanfall 3. I will continue to wait.
It is now 12:20. Again, nothing has changed. 4000 people online, bear witness to what ever happens tonight. At least on xbox. I do not think we are getting what we want.

Respawn was already ultra busy with Apex Legend and Jedi-Survivor....pretty sure that they couldn't had the time of making a Titanfall 3.
Even more today with the Star Wars Strategy and FPS game + the third Jedi game.
They don't need to make a Titanfall 3 gameplay video with release date. They could just have an announcement that says that TF3 is in development/just started development and that's it.

I don’t understand why people want loved series to get another game in this era. Have you forgotten what era of gaming we’re in? Microtransactions, pay to win, half baked, censored. If TF3 comes out, it’s going to be fun listening to everyone who wanted it so badly, turn around and start complaining about these things.
