Thank you Alston for making a lasting documentary of my mother-in-law's story of survival.

@JuneKVolk this documentary, featuring your mother-in-law, is wonderful on so many ways.
First, and I am sorry to sound superficial, but initially, I saw her speaking and thought, she must have been a very, very young child during the war. Then, I heard 1921, and was astounded.
      Mrs Volk is legit beautiful!
How can a woman one-hundred years look so pretty, strong, serene, and powerful?
      Her story is harrowing.
I actually cried, and I am Jewish and have heard many, many Holocaust witnesses.
Please thank Mrs Volk, and all who participated in making this important film.
I’m saving this to my “Jewish History”folder and will share with my friends.
Last, seeing the photos, and seeing your husband: to me, he looks amazingly like both his parents.
It’s always a gift when that happens.
May the blessings of Hashem continue to serve as a light among nations.
Just watching Mrs Volk for around 1/2 hour, I suspect she is deeply beloved by many.
I think this now includes me.

I just read "The Hiding Place" by Corrie ten Boom (Christian) and "Lily's Promise" by Lily Ebert (Jewish). These are all the same stories of this terrible hardship. I can't imagine surviving such horrible conditions. Good documentary. Thank you for keeping their memories alive.
