The fact so many get offended proves his point, and also so many miss the point he is making. If you want to have success, you need to take risks and find the mindset to be resilient when you struggle instead of running away from discomfort. So many people are miserable, but comfortable. Nothing is going to change by going to the same job you've been at for years and going back to your same apartment to watch the same things every night.
And it isn't going to hurt to grow thicker skin because people of today as so privileged by the sacrifices of our ancestors to give us freedom they don't realize anymore what it costs to get it. As a hint, it's a hell of a lot worse than being called a name.

Experience creates knowledge and wisdom. Failure creates strength. There is no other way. Give a child a participation trophy, and you take away his or hers opportunity to learn, experience failure, and gain the ability to overcome obstacles in life. We are seeing this now on our college campuses. It is definitely a generation of wimps.

I'm surprised Arnold isn't still wearing a mask.

@mcirelandosharma7411 that wasn't his point. He was pointing out Arnold's backtracking.

Ironic, because there I know of few bigger wimps than Howard Stern. He's terrified of his own shadow nowadays. Saying that, Arnold 'screw yoh freedohmz' Schwarzenegger is barely any better.

Arnold nailed it, and it's not just America this is happening in. The upcoming generations in the U.K. should pay heed to these words
