      Cause they'd say something, it would be taken out of context. Most people will read the article, not do research into the context, agree with the article and then the politician's career is over just because they tried to relate with regular folks. I can see why they don't do it when they are in office or running for office.

    notice how stern is sitting. this is a man who understands conversation and interviewing from doing it forever. he's sitting in a non formal, relaxed way. he knows he's not interviewing a porn star or a rock star or some other clown, so this gesture is done to relax a likely more up tight guest. i can guarantee you that stern knows this and his posture is calculated this way on purpose. very smart.

    Thank god the whole interview and not 3 min clips.. I’m not a democrat, nor am I republican and I think parties have divided our country. With that being said, I wish she was this relatable and open a long time ago. It probably would’ve helped her a lot. She would tend to come off really cold and definitely not relatable to a large majority of Americans.

      The Public is cruel. Politics is even worse. I believe a cold exterior is a protective mechanism. I use it myself. She had so much crap flung at her during her husband’s presidency and afterwards. This may seem trivial, but I can’t forget how much criticism she got for her hairstyles. Yes, her HAIRSTYLES. When does the media EVER make male political figures’ hairstyles a news item? She grew up in a middle class suburb of Chicago, the one next door to my town. She wasn’t the child of a super-wealthy dysfunctional family. She lived through public humiliation because of her husband’s infidelity and yet she had the courage to get through it with grace. It is obvious that there is more depth to her. I never saw any humanity in Donald Trump.

However after hearing her speak about the accomplishments of the Clinton campaign and her goals (she was a health care reform proponent as First Lady) I was blown away by how intelligent, relatable and well spoken she was. Dr. Skillz Thats a very low standard to beat. Stern has been irrelevant for a decade at least. Id like him to play clips of things hes said about her in the past. Even though he supported her....he said some terribly nasty things about her.

I understand her experiences of being a woman in the 1970s out in the world trying to make a difference and the way men treated us.😱 This wonderful interview humanizes Hillary Clinton. 🌟Hillary Clinton is a remarkable woman. 🇺🇸😎 She is a true patriot.

      It's kind of annoying how he like does not stop complimenting profusely the entire show though...it's like OK- she gets it, we get it, and it's like overdone.Tbh the excessive compliments really make it sound disingenuous to me, like I can't figure out what he's doing but he's doing something and it seems inauthentic or even patronizing or offensive, or at the very least like the kind of kid in like 2nd grade who was such a suck up to the teacher that'd they'd end up telling on you for things that aren't even an actual issue, like if the teacher says to shake you're boots 8 times at the door when your walking in from snow but you only did 7 on you left boot& they tell the teacher or something super dumb like that...It sounds like that's except he's a grown man not a child so he knows better. I do actually think it's kind of offensive though seeing as in an interview *OF* howard stern by someone (I forget), he explained his tactic when interviewing Trump which literally amounts to this, and seeing as Hillary is not Trump and isn't so insecure and defensive fundamentally that she requires full praise and constant reassurance in order to be comfortable enough to be open & actually those things probably make her uncomfortable bc they either come off untrue like there's some clinical or ulterior motive clinical or just creepy/weird/awkward

    • @lambro4014
      @lambro4014 5 років тому

      Well Trump is unorthodox he's far from "normal" he's the most unique candidate ever. Remember candidate Trump? Pre-Trump candidacy, I NEVER watched any of the debates or even cared because all presidents are so "presidential" and they are all scripted. Trump was off the cuff, said what he wants that popped to his head at the moment with no filter and no script. He gave no shit how he sounded and how he made a scene and turned all the debates into a hilarious comedy show with his behavior. That's definitely not a normal candidacy so I understand her "if I had lost to a normal Republican", it makes total sense. (Full disclosure, I voted for Trump)

    Howard Stern went from Immature at times mean spirited Shock jock and was No 1. Now he is a Brilliant, Interviewer, giving his guest time to answer, and asking poignant, Intelligent, questions. He reinvented himself and is once again No 1. If he would have done this Interview with Hillary before the election she would have won! Hands down. He stands alone, he is the Beatles of the airwaves! Great interview.
