Back at home, I had training partners (Jan, Marius and Francois who was my best training partner [Francois]) and we had a great time in the gym pumping iron. I'm in my late 30's now and working to pay bills and save and still save money and help people. Life is a challenge but it's interesting.
For a guy whose shortcomings (affairs, youthful crassness, etc) have been career ending for others, his charm and likeability have carried him through. And I'd argue a healthy dose of seemingly honest self-reflection and growth have helped too.

Personally I think he looks better after he gave up on competing and went into movies. When he did that he started to look more natural. More like someone you could see yourself working out with the machine next to him at your local gym.
