“OJ didn’t look like a killing machine” 😂😂
🧐 *_Never judge a book by its cover..._** is holding up very well.* 😳
Oh the irony lol
How frickin IRONIC!!!
Tell his wife that 😅
They did not pictured OJ wielding a knife as the go-to weapon.
that OJ line sounded like Weekend Update with Norm 😭
Arnold’s OJ joke was straight up Norm MacDonald level. He knew what he was doing, saying and delivering it dead pan.
If that was a joke, it was gold.
Yeah, and Rich decided to sit on it, and not go there 😊
Can you explain the joke?
OJ literally murdered two people but they didn't think he looked like a killing machine.. tis ironic. @@sebastianesxxx
@@sebastianesxxx OJ was deemed as "no one will beileve he is a murderous being", and then he brutally murdered his wife and another guy.

His son carries on his legacy well.

Yes, very articulate.
I'm sooo not trying to think about that. I say, tell em we love them while there here.
OJ didnt look lik a killing machine was GOLDEN 😂😂😂😂😂
He should come back as Dutch in Predator movies. It's a shame he only appeared in the first film, I really wanted Arnold to appear in sequels.
Even Conan the Barbarian...he's overdue to play King Conan
You're right, but Arnold has aged out of the Conan character.@@kamuelalee
@@davidbuswa9425 Well, If not Arnold then who? -- Rainier Wolfcastle?!

@@davidbuswa9425 Arnold would do fine in a King Conan movie. Several of the original short stories depict Conan in older age anyway.
Could listen to Arnold talk all day.
Arnold's right, "I will be back" is probably more like what a machine would say...but he's forgetting it's a machine that is trying to mimic human beings as closely as possible so it can get close to his target without being detected.
I think he's right that it would have been a better - and more memorable - line. The four syllable cadence of "I will be back" would match the "boom boom boom boom" of the Terminator background theme. Also, the way it sounds just a _little_ off from what a real human says would have made it more distinct whenever someone repeats the line.
Oh well. Maybe one day the Mandolin Effect will take me to an alternate dimension where he won the compromise.
Terminator 2 is a masterpiece. One of the best not just Syfy movies ever made but one the best movies ever made. It on the level of Empire Strikes Back
Oh yeah, it is a phenomenal sequel of the early 90s.
Syence Fyction?
that OJ joke was cleannnn bro okay Arnold
It wasn't a joke.
our iconic 80s action hero, golden era
Arnold switching to comedy after The Terminator and Predator is one of the most brilliant career moves in film history. The contrast enhances the humor infinitely. "It's not a tuminator!"
Hardly, he tanked in most of those movies. Like when he was pregnant in a movie. Terrible reviews and tanked. If you think that was brilliant stay out of films.

I can’t believe they just let That OJ killer joke go by
Brockman was giggling
Maybe OJ and Arnold are buddies?... didn't want to provoke him? ...it WAS a golden opportunity for a lot of Great jokes!
Arnold had a subtle smirk and a sparkle in his eyeballs when he said that.
I think sports shows are still a little hesitant to go there…but the joke was RIGHT THERE. Someone just had to walk through the door.
Can't laugh at a joke stolen from a dead guy.
Arnold has an incredible sense of humour, and is very very smart. Great guy.
He's still got that incredible charisma.
I love Rich Evans! So glad he got his own show!
So many great lines from him. The old Conan O’Brien skits spoofing him are hilarious if you haven’t seen them.
The OJ line. Who knew that OJ was the real terminator?
If you can find his two Howard Stern interviews , one being earlier this year the other a few years ago. They are really good & do in depth on a lot the history behind the hit movies.
Arnie is the best! Yeah, James Cameron is known for his way or the highway approach. Most Directors want it their way.
Quentin Tarantino is known for not wanting one single word changed.
Yeah, but Cameron could back up those demands. If you told Cameron he couldn't do something, he would invent the tools or recruit people who could make it happen.
Well, its thr movie...So.yeah!
I've heard the "I'll be back" line story so many times now but every time i hear it .. I want to hear it again because arnold just tells it so well in a no bullshit way telling it how it is
Lol its amazing how at 4:04 Arnold transitions from sounding like a rambly old man to the Terminator.
James Cameron was on him about that “I’ll be back” line. He said “Shut the fck up and say the line” 😂😂😂😂😂
Did anyone else get an almost ASMR type of thing at 4:09 when Arnold says the “I’ll be back” line?

Arnold Schwarzenegger is a great story teller. Regards, Michael M. Kamau, Nairobi, Kenya, East Africa, 18th December 2023.
It's a story that sometimes gets a bit garbled. It was Mike Medavoy of Orion who suggested OJ Simpson to Cameron, but Cameron wasn't remotely interested in the idea. And Schwarzenegger did originally approach Cameron and Hurd with the idea of playing Reese, but over a lunchtime meeting, Cameron (who had initially assumed Arnie would be a dim-witted lunk and only took the meeting out of politeness) was really impressed by Schwarzenegger's thoughts about how the CSM-101 should move, in terms of eyes, head and body, and his general enthusiasm for the project. He ended up thinking Schwarzenegger would make a great terminator, even though his initial concept was that the cyborg should be an inconspicuous infiltration unit (an idea he returned to for Robert Patrick's T-1000 in the sequel). When he was shopping the concept around to studios, Cameron initially proposed Lance Henriksen as the terminator, who ended up playing Sgt Vukovich in the movie, and of course played Bishop in Cameron's next movie, "Aliens".
You never know what will work. Arnold life, his career is inspiring and jaw dropping.
TERRANCE OUT
God I love Arnold. Growing up watching his movies as a kid. Wanting the gattling gun from the predator movie for Christmas when I was 5. So many great movies. Predator, Terminator, Total Recall, Conan and his most underrated movie of all time... Last Action Hero!

Not a fan of T2 or any of the sequels. Original Terminator is probably the best movie ever made. The plot is the best movie plot ever. I wish they had never cut the end scene, it really ties the plot together at end. That my only complaint (other than the sequels).

Not for nothing Arnold could be a funny guy. Big fan here
I do admit, I always found it a bit of a plot hole in T2, how Arnold doesn't kill anyone even BEFORE he swears not to.
But obviously they had to do it that way to hide the plot twist, so eh.
A valid point, but I also think that even a near-indestructible terminator would probably know that it had to at least sometimes measure its use of deadly force while it was on its way to its actual objective. It's not completely indestructible, after all, and if alarmed authorities were to focus enough deadly force upon it, then it would likely be destroyed eventually.
For instance, in T2, in order to acquire needed clothing and transportation, it had the choice of either turning the biker bar into a multiple murder scene with multiple witnesses, or merely turning it into the scene of a brawl with multiple witnesses, and it apparently chose the latter. The presumable news headline of, "fight erupts at biker bar, 1 stabbed, 1 burned on grill," probably wouldn't have drawn much outside attention.
In T1, on the other hand, it killed the punks hanging out in the park late at night in order to accomplish the same thing, but there, it was also much more capable of 'cleansing' the scene of all witnesses. I guess the headline would have been, "3 punks found dead in park after apparent late-night drinking session," which would have of course been all the more shocking, but there also would have been no witnesses. Similar logic could have occurred to it in T2, when it nearly killed those two jocks in the alley late at night, before John stopped it from actually doing so.
Interestingly to me, when it assaulted the police station in T1, it may have made that very aggressive decision because it was actually starting to get 'desperate', since its tissue covering was apparently starting to succumb to necrosis -- as evidenced by the 'dead cat' remark from the slumlord -- and it was probably only a matter of time before its camouflage, which it needed, was no good anymore.
After all, a walking corpse with pieces of a metal skeleton probably starting to show underneath its flesh would not be able to remain inconspicuous for long, so it probably needed to act then -- both decisively and overwhelmingly -- for the highest possible likelihood of accomplishing its mission, which had already become more complicated, as more outside attention had just become focused upon it.
Therefore, switching from 'infiltrator mode' to 'combat chassis mode', and making the police station into the scene of a mass murder of police officers -- which would likely be talked about for many years to come -- might have seemed worthwhile to the terminator in that moment, whereas if certain factors weren't at play, it might have otherwise decided to simply wait things out for a bit, and resume its pursuit of its target later.
For these same reasons, to me, the biggest illogicality of T2 might have been the terminator very openly confronting the police officers at the Cyberdyne building, since they all would have known him as "that guy who killed all those cops in 1984, and then got away," and there he would have been again, facing an entire department of police officers like a one-man army, and then getting away. He didn't even have any reason to think he would actually be able to stop the T-1000 from killing John at that point, and his brazen confrontation with the police would have only driven his probability of being able to do that even lower.
However, if the director had been thinking about it that way, then how would he have ever come up with an excuse to film that incredible firefight sequence with the Minigun and the grenade launcher? Nothing quite like that had ever been filmed before.
Sorry to hit you with an essay, but the Terminator movies kind of fascinate me, especially the first two, and the third one isn't awful, at least not for me.
Well, maybe future John Connor reprogrammed it so it won't kill as indiscriminately as it used to and then young John Connor made it promise to not kill anyone?
Still to this day if I'm just stepping out for a short time I will often say, "I'll be back."
