  • This is the final method that I am documenting regarding how to animate a bending object using the Curve Modifier.
AnimAll is an excellent add-on that pretty much removes all limitations about what can be animated in Blender. You can directly animate you curve modifier's control points with this and it is great.

Do you have any videos of you using Vray in Blender ?

No, not yet. If I do videos for V-Ray for Blender, it will most likely be something worthy of being placed on Gumroad for purchase, because there are so many things to teach about it. If the information about V-Ray for Blender were as ubiquitous as general Blender tutorials are now then I would consider throwing out some quick tips on that too since all the basics would already be covered.

I just wanted to see it being used and what it could do.

There are a few people that show V-Ray 3.0 for Blender here on UA-cam. Here is one person: ua-cam.com/users/Kasperski8
You can see some renders from Bertrand Benoit that came out of an older version of V-Ray for Blender here: www.vray.com/vray_for_blender/
You can just check out V-Ray renders in general if you want to see what kind of render quality you can produce. V-Ray is quite a bit faster than Cycles. I like it!

      cheers :)
Im also looking at the non-commercial version of Renderman.
Im just an enthusiast, not doing anything for money or glory, but I love all aspects of whats going on in the 3D world.
