Yeah, I made it!! :D (I was the reaper) Thanks for the advice. I never considered the firefly not being clear enough on their back. I’ll adjust that for sure.
@@JuniperDev Adam C Younis is probably my favorite pixel artist, he will review your art or game on stream as a channel point reward, I've gotten so much amazing feedback from him (he really knows what he's talking about lol).
I really like the support beams going through the entire height of the cabin :D its also rlly cool to see your skills in action and the tips you have to share great video!
Pixel art was my intro to gaming on the DS with Pokemon Black Version 2. I'm glad to see what once was a hardware limitation has developed into a style with a distinct vibe and identity that's still being used and expanded upon today :D
No idea if this has been said before but instead of zooming in and out all the time to see pixelart from different "distances" you can just enable a preview window in most art software with support for pixelart. :)
That first one is a perfect example of what I want a lot of indie games to do, or even stuff like Octopath. Ditch the super complex shading and 20 colors on one sprite, keep it simple.
I've heard it said about pixel art: every pixel must be intentional and serve a purpose. I feel like I learned a lot from this video, looking forward to more like it!
In some ways, pixel art can be the most difficult art form of all. It can be so difficult to get everything to blend together as a collection of pieces. There's just so many different stylistic approaches you can take.
Maybe the real pixel art was all the friends we made along the way
on skibidi it is
