    These shocks are great. I just purchased a set last month. The old lady and I did 4,419 mile trip around Lake Michigan and back to Kansas. There was maybe a half dozen bumps along the way. Great product, simple adjustments and an awesome ride. Can’t say enough good things about them.

    Dude you could not have explained that any better. Lot of people don't understand that about sag , I totally agree with you. As far as people lowering their bikes with smaller shots I'm totally against it. Anyway great video great explanation

    I’ve done a ton of research both on the product and the service. Each time, Super Shox- an American company, comes up in the top two or three. For the price point, these are a fantastic value and a quality product. You really don’t have to pay more unless you just want to get those “L” or “O” decals. Brian will actually talk to you and help you make the best choice. Good luck gettiing that from others.

    I’m new to these shocks, but I will say the best shock I have had on a Harley to date. If you are looking for a extremely comfortable ride these are for you. My experience has been stock, legends, thundermax iride, and now super shocks. Legends stiff, but definitely better than stock, thundermax iride is a step up from legends, and super shocks at the top of the comfortable ride list

    Put your premiers on and took wife on ride to see if made difference. She noticed before we got out of the neighborhood and then I had to listen to why didn’t I get earlier. Still working on the fine tune but very impressed with the quality.

    All this makes perfect sense, but explain to me how your extended lower mount avoids pivoting upward when under rebound? That's my biggest concern with this design. Shocks control rebound too and you can't tell me that the shock simply pushes down all the time, because if that's it the shock is not controlling rebound at all. I would consider this setup and going to have the mount welded to the swingarm so it's truly solid if that's the case...

    • @supershox2010
      @supershox2010  2 місяці тому

      The spring is always pushing down except when the rear tire is off the ground. Rebound does control the extension but not to the point of stopping the spring. There is no concern of the mount moving during use. Our in-house test bikes have never had a problem with this set up and we have never had a customer complaint with set up that we have been using since 2016. Welding would not be an option with our mount because it is aluminum, and the swing arm is steel.

    Thanks for posting. I’m 5’5” 160 lbs and have a 2016 Street Glide Special with stock shocks. I’m getting pummeled out here in the Midwestern backroads but need to stay low to touch the ground. I’m glad I found out about your product, sounds like the fix I was looking for. Can you recommend which model and would an added low profile rear tire be too much? Thanks in advance!

    Very solid presentation. Wish I knew before getting my RWDs. In the length I chose. Would have considered the 14”. I tried running w the Pingel 1 “ lowering adapter but I found the bottoming out an issue. How would you highlight the difference between adapter and yours??? Thank you in advance

      With the Super Shox set up the shock is specifically tuned to work in the location of the relocation mount to get the best ride and great bottoming resistance

    What should I do for the best ground clearance for corners! I have ordered the 13 but lately my wife has gotten scared by shaping in corners, we stayed upright just slide a little metal for aerodynamics next time!! God blessed and turned in raising instead of flat tracking deeper! Thx for info!

    Are there any issues with axle clearance when running 4.5" slip-ons, when using either 13", 13.5" or 14" Super Shox shocks?

    • @supershox2010
      @supershox2010  Рік тому

      We only use them on 2002 and newer sing arms that are stronger than the pre 2002 models. The mount is also made to apply the load to directly into the swing arm where it is strongest.

    I bought a 22 ultra I believe the super ShoX I had on my 20 street glide right?

    • @supershox2010
      @supershox2010  Рік тому +1

      If you are asking about transferring the shocks, the only concern is the Tour Pack. If the 20 FLHX did not have one and the 22 Ultra does, then we may need to change the spring and damping rates for the added weight. The cost is $125 for the update but give us a call so we can go over everything to make sure we are getting you the best ride possible.
