Excited for everyone to hear this last part of my Ghost Tree book. DS and Rom and the rest always do such a great job with the narrations, and I hope everybody enjoys it!
"My job is watching a women trapped in a room." is one of my favorite stories you've done, and I am so excited to hear this one. I didn't even know it was a series. Also 'Among the roots.' is one of the best music tracks you've made.
@@DarksomniumI remember months ago commenting on a post about how I wanted you to narrate the rest of these stories and we had a little conversation about it. You said you’d put it on the back burner and I’m so happy to see it finished and uploaded, I can’t wait to listen, you’re the best man.
I enjoyed when Thomas was thinking back on his life, how he felt like he was just simply existing and covered in fog, going to work and then going home. Very well written! And it is very relatable.
This story was absolutely epic. There is so much lore, detailed minutiae that builds into grand story telling. It reminds me of the left/right game in how it draws you in and makes you believe that turning left then right could send you to a new world or a tunnel could open in your basement and spit you into a maze to alternate realities. Magical realism is my favorite flavor of fiction. The whole series was tense and heartfelt and cathartic. The care and quality that goes into these productions is amazing. All of the voice actors should be proud of their work here. There are so many loose threads that could lead to more stories in this universe. What happened to the evil cabal from Thomas’ world? What’s the surgeon’s story? What will the become of Tomas and Rachael? Will Justin really redeem himself in the long run? Thanks all for the amazing work!
This story is a sequel to "my job is watching a woman trapped in a room"! Holy cow I didn't know the series had more entries. It just hit me about the 6 minute mark that's what it was

What a Beautiful story, Brandon...my heart is overflowing!! I cant say that very often. This on the eve of my oldest daughters birthday. I lost her tragically, snd this day is very difficult for me. Thank you, Ronnie. You and Rom both. I know of no other 2 people that could have infused this story with as much raw emotion as you. Just know that this made my heart smile on the eve of a day of mourning. Thank you to all of you. Your little Insomniac and your little Romulan. Peace.

Loved it! I feel bad for the other Thomas; he seemed like a good guy in his story, and whatever Solomon and company did to him must have been awful. But I liked Justin's redemption and how he ultimately came through for Rachel.
Yeah, whatever Solomon and his crew had planned wasn't good. They killed like, a handful of people, brainwashed someone to listen to them and was planning on killing the main Thomas, from the looks of it. Zero good intentions from the start, but they were very good liars
Ugh. All good things must come to an end I suppose. What an absolute treat this story is. Coupled with your narration / production. (Romnex is phenomenal as well). Job well done everyone. Brandon Faircloth.. you have a gift. All the praise! Thank you all for your efforts I am ever grateful.

Amazing stuff Ronnie. This is an incredibly well written series. The author is very talented, and you brought it to life. You are the only creepypasta channel that actually voice acts, everyone else just kinda narrates. When there are emotions you act them, where others simply read in a monotone and then read the descriptors. As always I’m amazed that you have so few subs compared to others in the genre, you are on another level man. Please credit the woman who voices Rachel in this story. She’s been with you since I can remember and she’s incredible, I’d love to know her alias and follow her as well. (I think you’ve mentioned it before but I can’t find it anymore)

The pure passion you put into all of your stories is mind blowing. Thank you for these great works, they always make my day. :)
Aaaaaaand we’re at the end !!! what a great story I have yet to finish but i love how humanizing these perspectives are, especially Justin. Everyone in this story are victims of circumstance. I love your longer form stories keeps me entertained during my work day and to sleep at night, love what you do man! P.S. your collaborations with RomNex always gives so much more life to any of the stories you two do together!
When I first listened to the "My Job is Watching a Woman in a Room", I was left wanting. It felt like a story unfinished, plunked in halfway through another story and left unfinished. To say that the last week and a bit has left me frothing at the mouth in excitement would be an understatement. This is an amazing story, absolute props go out to the author for creating such a fantastic and immersive , complex perspective jumping world. And of course, Ronnie, for the amazing score to accompany it. Bravo!!!🎉
Man, that hit different... The first story got me into your channel and stories and it hooked me really hard. Then, a few days ago I listened to part 2, now part 3... It left me in tears of happiness. How it all came together in the end. The slither of hope in such a mysterious and dangerous world. Thank you and the original author so much for doing these stories!
I'm so excited!! This series has been great & as always, the amount of effort you put into these videos is truly unmatched! You've definitely become my number one favorite narrator and I find myself constantly anticipating your next upload. Thank you so much, Dark Somnium! Your work is truly appreciated. And props to this author as well, this world explored in this series is awesome. Creative genius from both of you. ❤
Man, this threw me for a loop. I remember listening to "I watch a girl tripped in a room" and seeing it all come together is surreal. Even though you made timestamps, i could still tell exactly who was talking. Goes to how how amazing you and your friends are at this. I was really impressed how easy it was to tell between Justin and Thomas. Great job, I hope everyone enjoys this as much as i did. ^^
Gotta say. This was a beautiful rendition of this story. Tantalizing and addictive from each of the stories. Both the writer and narrator complemented each other. I appreciate the dedication so obviously shown in the story.
Gotta say man, you truly are an inspiration. You bring these stories to life In a way nobody else I've seen can, you truly are a blessing and I aspire to be like you one day.
This was an awesome ending to the story! I was so worried about Thomas after his "other" version attacked him. And i was actually surprised it ended the way it did. As always, thank you for the amazing narration and music, you guys are very talented 💜🙏😁
Man, I don’t know what to say other than thank you. This recent uploading schedule has been amazing. And this series is amazing so far. Can’t wait to listen to this one🤝
Just listen to "My job is..." And so extremely excited to see that I was immediately recommended a part two! I was not expecting it but this makes me immensely happy
I have never gotten so excited over a damn video before but I just yelled so loud at this notification that I scared both dogs and my kids lmao thank you and the whole crew for all you do.
These stories are some of the greatest stories I've ever listened to. The narration quality and production value is top tier, no chanel puts more work and effort than this one. Thank you for your efforts.
The story was amazing, the music was fantastic, the narration was brilliant. As always, another masterpiece. I mean seriously I've never seen you ever put out a bad video
just finished listening to the whole series, and gotta say, your definitely up there now as one of my favourite "creepypasta" narration channels, still feel kinda sorry for wally (protagonist of "you have a delivery scheduled") he never really asked for any of this either but sadly was used as a tool for the companies goals, atleast his suffering is over now
I can’t help but feel this bittersweet feeling after listening to the four chapters. Funny thing: the first part I listened was “you have a delibery scheduled” and, although I loved it, there were so many references I didn’t get. That meant, however, that the first character I rooted for was Wally (the other Thomas). Hearing what happens to him here is so sad, because I know he tried to fight the mind control or whatever and lost. He will always be a villain in Rachel’s and Thomas’s eyes, but he wasn’t. That makes Justin’s, Thomas’s and Rachel’s ending a bit sad to me. I love all of them, though, even if Justin’s done clearly terrible things. I think that you can’t justify Most of them, but you can understand and wonder if you could have been stronger in his place. I also love the parallel between thomas and him: Thomas was having his mind consumed by the fog, tried to fight it and found his way to succed. Justin was, instead, having is soul eaten by the darkness his family condemned him too and, while trying to fight to stay good, he lost without even realizing. I could spend hours Wittings about those characters and everything they made me feel. This was an amazing job, Brandon and Ronnie!
This series is tied for my absolute favorite ever, right alongside the left right game. Both tell such magnificent stories, narrated to perfection, and the music for this is unbelievable. Everyone involved did an amazing job.
Your music adds so much to the emotion and impact to the story and it's characters. I smiled when I heard the melody you made for the tree's song. You pay attention to so many details and hands down by a forest mile, the best narrator. Phenomenal writing too. Looking forward to more from this author.
This whole series was phenomenal. I loved listening to all the twists and turns! The only thing that leaves me wondering is how did the one Rachel get involved with Solomon in the first place? Once every detail is taken into consideration, it seems that Solomon’s actual goal the whole time revolves around the tree but doesn’t really know anything about it other than it being a part of Rachel’s paintings. He obviously knows about the other worlds but I don’t think he knows the tree is what is responsible for linking them, so why the tree?
Genuinely so amazing. The first part of the series has always been one of my top favourites. ALSO i’m the one with the anniversary i just wanted to say your recording + the final part to this series coming out made today more perfect than it already was. Thanks for everything DS! You mean a lot more to me than you know I wish i could show that HAHA 😭
Damn the rate and quality of these videos are absolutely phenomenal. Ive been a huge fan of the channel for over a year now and you've never failed to keep my love for stories present and fresh. Never a dull moment when somnium uploads!! Sending love from Scotland! :)) ⛰️🌲
I finished the story today, had a weekend away, and was with family... This. This is top-tier narration by both @Dark Somnium and @RomNex. The music, the sound effects, the emotion... everything is perfect!
you and everyone you have narrated with are absolutely amazing. been following this series and you for a while now and you, the other narrorators you work with, and the writers you work with never fail to take my breath away, not to mention how quickly you pump out videos, again you and everyone you work with are insane, please all keep up the amazing work
I wish you would have more voice actors for this one. But just by looking at the thumbnail I knew exactly what was going on. Very good job using your medium to the fullest to paint a masterpiece in my mind
Oh man, you are killing me!!! I've been listening the prequel storys over & over and now you drop the bomb! This is mind twisting and mad awesome!!! I really love to listen to your narrations and i'm looking forward for tons of new stuff ! Great work all around!!! God bless you (and your crew)
Just finished listening through the whole series. Just wanted to add another thank you. Beautifully written , wonderfully narrated, and a magical experience . cheers Team, Lee.
no wayyy ive been for this for so long, bro ong ur voiceovers are so good. its also amazing how quickly you pump these out, cant wai to finally hear this
Man this is genuinely a phenomenal story, it had some of the best writing I've heard in a long time. The way th narration of it was so good, just made it all the better.
Man this was such an incredible series, the writing was just phenomenal! This also might be some of my favorite music youve done so far too. Huge thanks to you, Somnium, as well as the author and collaborators for sharing and bringing this story to life ❤
What a wonderful series! I've become an avid fan of your stories this year and truly appreciate all the hard work and dedication you put into your craft! Fantastic job and thank you!!
This was a beautiful culmination of the past few stories. The ending has me in tears. Amazing storytelling to the writer amplified by your music and narrations. 👏👏💐💐
Girl locked in the room. It’s literally the first story I got put on to, and then I started listening to every story that you had. And finally being able to listen to the end of the story was amazing.
I loved this full series type of reading so much! Something about listening to several stories and it all being connected to one another is really cool. Looking forward to the next one you have planned.
I have to say the last few stories I have heard have the best I have ever heard. It is hard to put into words how great you have become. I have been listening to your stories for a few years now. You just keep getting better and better. Thank you for your stories! Keep doing what you are doing. Looking for forward to more stories from you. Have a great day.
This was one of the best conclusions to a horror story series that I've heard in a while! And I agree with you, that the theme of introspection was really strong in this last story, especially with Justin's character and his choice to amend the wrongs he made. I also personally like how it edges on the more fantastical side of the setting, rather than making the tree some super malevolent entity. To be honest, my only gripes in the story are: - the absence of Mr. Solomon (pretty strange how he made so many preparations to secure the "Prime" version of his subjects but only sent an alternate counterpart of Thomas alone to get him without providing any reinforcements to accompany him, along with only very vague details on his organization and their goals) - Wally's character arc (he was, to me, the most sympathetic character in the whole series, even compared to Justin, seeing how he had his whole life slowly dismantled and destroyed by Mr. Solomon just so he would cooperate with him to find Thomas, yet still refusing to take part in murdering his alternate self, leading him to forcibly get his mind broken in his story, only for him to reappear in the final conclusion just to stab Thomas non-lethally and get his head smashed in)
Listened to all of these as they were uploaded, now I'm listening to them all again in the playlist form and good God this is amazing. Thank you Somnium and Rom, you two are incredible narrators.
WOW, this story had a wonderful ending. I loved the characters, especially Justin and his introspection at the end of the story. And, as always, you did a wonderful job narrarating 😁
This is has become one of my all time favorites right behind the Prison Guard and Nightmare tournament. Such a well written story and narrates beautifully
I love how Brandon included Patrick ( Dr Barron from the outsiders books ) in this. I love when authors have characters from different stories come together and create a wider narrative. But it would be a sin not to commend all the fantastic narrators who really bring these stories to life. This was an absolutely incredible experience and proves yet again, that DS is the best narrator not just in the creepypasta scene, but on UA-cam in general!
The first part of this story is my favorite one that you've ever narrated. I am so excited to listen to this one. I happened to relisten to "part 1" just yesterday.
So this is another part of a series instead of just a sequel to that "live in the ashes of my heart" story.. So Imma go watch stuff connected to this now. Toodles! ;-) lol
What has gotten to me the most from this story, was Thomas description of feeling like living inside a fog. I've been feeling like that at time, and have also found some clarity lately, heck i was even discussing it with a friend before listening to the story, its actually scary that i would hear the topic popping up again right after i was done talking about it . I felt bad about the other Thomas tho, felt sad that this is how it ended for him, specially considering how he was mind controlled (sort off). That Solomon bastard truly did ruin his life, i hope he gets it someday. I already liked the first story that you've covered from this series, and truly love the rest too. What a wonderful saga.
A year ago when you posted the woman trapped in a room, hearing the end of it with your beautiful music truly made me cry. The exact same thing happened this time. With your beautiful music, your narration and ever ounce of the story is truly beautiful. I wholly believe your more than just a guy on the Internet telling a story, you're a damn artist. Thank you so much for your works.
You know I don’t know why I keep listening this channel. Almost every story I hear is done so well that I often have problems sleeping, especially after penpal. So thanks dark somnium, keep up the good work I haven’t slept in class in weeks
Hey I listen when I am work. And I am always blown away with how both you and Romnex work so well together. I have had the privilege for the longest time to listen and see you both develop into great story tellers and of course the voice acting. Both of you do amazing work and the way you both make the characters sound pulls me into stories like I am there with you both. Thankyou for all the amazing work you both do.
I finally was able to listen to this after working all week and it was so beautiful I cried at the end and I love this series so much it’s my favorite thank u so much for making it so amazing ❤
This is such a beautiful story. I hope you make this into a one long video. I don't like creepypastas that starts with very interesting prompt and finishes with gore and nothing more. This story has no gore in it and it's amazing. I've read the other one written by the author and hope you do another video with his story.
AHHHH I’m so excited ! I just went back and listened to the second one after you just posted the first one. Now I gotta listen to the third one then this. Amazing story and the sound design is so great ! I’m so excited omg !!

im so glad you're enjoying it :)
I am not proud of the hold this series has on me😂. Can’t wait to continue it. Have a good weekend Ron thanks for all your hard work!
hahah im glad you're enjoying it!
Im so happy you're doing this series! I absolutely loved "My job is Watching a Woman Trapped in a Room". ❤❤
Gotta say. This was a beautiful rendition of this story. Tantalizing and addictive from each of the stories. Both the writer and narrator complemented each other. I appreciate the dedication so obviously shown in the story.
Gotta say man, you truly are an inspiration. You bring these stories to life In a way nobody else I've seen can, you truly are a blessing and I aspire to be like you one day.
thank you so much :)
The ending I was kinda hoping was to play out, good thing Justin stood up for his actions and great series
This was an awesome ending to the story! I was so worried about Thomas after his "other" version attacked him. And i was actually surprised it ended the way it did. As always, thank you for the amazing narration and music, you guys are very talented 💜🙏😁
Isn't this part 3 of 4?
Thanks!
Man, I don’t know what to say other than thank you. This recent uploading schedule has been amazing. And this series is amazing so far. Can’t wait to listen to this one🤝
im so glad you're enjoying the stories :)
Just listen to "My job is..." And so extremely excited to see that I was immediately recommended a part two! I was not expecting it but this makes me immensely happy
I have never gotten so excited over a damn video before but I just yelled so loud at this notification that I scared both dogs and my kids lmao thank you and the whole crew for all you do.
im so glad you're enjoying it!
These stories are some of the greatest stories I've ever listened to. The narration quality and production value is top tier, no chanel puts more work and effort than this one. Thank you for your efforts.
The story was amazing, the music was fantastic, the narration was brilliant. As always, another masterpiece. I mean seriously I've never seen you ever put out a bad video
just finished listening to the whole series, and gotta say, your definitely up there now as one of my favourite "creepypasta" narration channels,
still feel kinda sorry for wally (protagonist of "you have a delivery scheduled") he never really asked for any of this either but sadly was used as a tool for the companies goals, atleast his suffering is over now
I can’t help but feel this bittersweet feeling after listening to the four chapters.
I started with that video and was also rooting for Wally. Was hoping the Thomas that showed up was a 3rd one and Wally would show up later.
lol same, RIP Wally, everyone gets a happy ending but him..
This series is tied for my absolute favorite ever, right alongside the left right game. Both tell such magnificent stories, narrated to perfection, and the music for this is unbelievable. Everyone involved did an amazing job.
I can't help but feel bad for poor ol wallie. i thought he was gonna end up remembering anything and become a good guy
The first part you uploaded of this series is still my fav narration of all time and im so happy you got to make the rest of the series!
Heck yeah. I've been having a rough week, and you pushing these out gives me some reprieve from it all. Thanks ronnie 🖤🏳️⚧️
oh dang im sorry to hear your weekend has been rough, I hope next week is better for you
Your music adds so much to the emotion and impact to the story and it's characters. I smiled when I heard the melody you made for the tree's song. You pay attention to so many details and hands down by a forest mile, the best narrator. Phenomenal writing too. Looking forward to more from this author.
The "I think My Grandfather Might Be A Serial Killer" story is phenomenal! One of my favorites!
Just finished, and I'm crying! Absolutely wonderful!! Bravo kids, BRA-VO!!👏🏼👏🏼
Perfect timing 😂
wooo! thanks for coming by :)
thank you so much curtis :)
I'm so glad to see this series posted.
EVERYONE DROP WHAT YOURE DOING! GHOST TREE JUST DROPPED
>:D
I finished the story today, had a weekend away, and was with family... This. This is top-tier narration by both @Dark Somnium and @RomNex. The music, the sound effects, the emotion... everything is perfect!
Stupid ghosts. Stupid trees.
you and everyone you have narrated with are absolutely amazing. been following this series and you for a while now and you, the other narrorators you work with, and the writers you work with never fail to take my breath away, not to mention how quickly you pump out videos, again you and everyone you work with are insane, please all keep up the amazing work
I wish you would have more voice actors for this one.
This has been one my absolute favorite stories you've ever done. The first parts were great, but this last part was just amazing.
Just finished listening through the whole series. Just wanted to add another thank you. Beautifully written , wonderfully narrated, and a magical experience . cheers Team, Lee.
I am such a sucker for happy endings :') this has been amazing. It has been written and narrated with such brilliance, i almost feel like i lived it ❤
no wayyy ive been for this for so long, bro ong ur voiceovers are so good. its also amazing how quickly you pump these out, cant wai to finally hear this
Thanks a ton!
I love when my favorite narrators do collaborations! I hope to hear more stories!
The sounds you used were so impactful. Thank you. This story is beautiful and you did it right
This was a beautiful culmination of the past few stories.
Glad you enjoyed it!
To be honest, my only gripes in the story are:
- the absence of Mr. Solomon (pretty strange how he made so many preparations to secure the "Prime" version of his subjects but only sent an alternate counterpart of Thomas alone to get him without providing any reinforcements to accompany him, along with only very vague details on his organization and their goals)
- Wally's character arc (he was, to me, the most sympathetic character in the whole series, even compared to Justin, seeing how he had his whole life slowly dismantled and destroyed by Mr.
Thank you Somnium and Rom, you two are incredible narrators.
i love when a story has a proper end... great work from everybody...
LETS GOOOO! Work is gonna be good today!! Thanks for making another great video to get me, and others, through the day!
The first part of this story is my favorite one that you've ever narrated. I am so excited to listen to this one. I happened to relisten to "part 1" just yesterday.
Thank you!! I love long stories and series. Your narrations are like watching a movie. Just excellent! You never disapoint 😁
This was great! I love the ending and how it all flowed together. Your narration is soothing even for the genre.
This actually beings a tear in my eyes 😢, such a beautiful story
"I think my grandpa is a serial killer" is so good. It didn't even dawn on me until you said something.
This was a really good series!
im so glad you liked it!
im so happy hearing this part! thanks to the both of you!
Oh! A continuation! Exactly what I wanted when I heard the first part the other day. This author is good.
So this is another part of a series instead of just a sequel to that "live in the ashes of my heart" story.. So Imma go watch stuff connected to this now. Toodles! ;-) lol
This series hands down is one of the best stories you’ve ever done.
Marvelous story captain, much appreciated. Listening to your story narrations helps my driving shift smoother. By far my favorite narrator
One of my favorite aspects of this series is how each story has quite a different feel. Psyched for this one!
agreed, the author is very talented.
You know I don’t know why I keep listening this channel. Almost every story I hear is done so well that I often have problems sleeping, especially after penpal. So thanks dark somnium, keep up the good work I haven’t slept in class in weeks
oh dang thank you! i think haha :)
I've been loving these longer stories uploads been getting me through my shift at work!
I’m so excited omg !!
im so glad you're enjoying this series!
