@spinzvinyl Thank you for that. I'm listening now ( Revolver ), but.. Want to sit down and watch ! I was in Japan last March and going back next spring. 🤚
Wonderful video man you really did your research on this! Did I hear you say you keep your level set at zero? And hey have you heard you probably have it the reissue of revolver that came out of I think was last year or maybe 2021?
Hey, Rod! Yeah, by zero, I just mean centered, or not + or - any db. I probably should have explained that better. I know about that Revolver pressing but I haven’t heard it. I had the Sgt Peppers and Abbey Road remixes but they just weren’t for me. Have you heard it?
Japanese LPs are just great, and I have to agree that all of my Odeon presses, from Meet the Beatles through to Rubber Soul all sound incredible (Although the hard stereo panning on Rubber Soul is possibly a turn off for people). Also the fact that the JPN release of Meet the Beatles includes She Loves You and others, in my opinion a much nicer track listing than the american counterpart.
I couldn't agree more! I would love to have a full set of Odeon pressings. Thanks so much for sharing your experience! I love Japanese pressings. They're fun and, in my opinion, often have superior sonics.
@@spinzvinylI’m currently weighing up on whether to jump for a Sgt Pepper JPN press.. what would you recommend as the best to go for without breaking the bank? I’m thinking the early apple reissues?
@@RecordGuyJ Here's my pressing: www.discogs.com/release/2013414-The-Beatles-Sgt-Peppers-Lonely-Hearts-Club-Band There are a ton of great reviews on Discogs (including a short one from me). It's a very reasonably priced, and readily available, EAS Japanese pressing. To be fair, I haven't listened to it in a while, but I do remember comparing it to other pressings, like the 2019 Anniversary pressing, and they weren't even close. I can't imagine you'd be disappointed. Please take that for what it's worth. I know this stuff can be very subjective.
Hello! I would say that vinyl has physical and sonic characteristics that impact the listening experience. Quiet vinyl is one piece of that. But more importantly in my opinion, I believe that superior materials means less variation of sound quality from record to record. As for sonics, that's a whole other ball of wax, but I think you're asking about the physical characteristics of vinyl (which of course has an impact sonically but, for the sake of argument, I'm using sonics to mean the music's mix). I hope I answered your question. Thanks!
@@spinzvinyl yes, what i exactly meant..., Sir but to guarantee a stable quality from record to record is needed to use advanced materials for stampers, and they (materials) are exists.
This is great man. Keep these coming.
Thank you so much!!! I will! 😉
This first Odeon pressing is a treasure. If you also have any mono pressings, please do a shootout of them as well. Thanks for the video.
Yeah, the mono pressing is a glaring omission from the video and my collection. I will definitely compare mono pressings in the future! Thanks!!!
Coudnt believe I didn’t know about you, and your channel ! Rod turned me on to this.. At work, will watch a bunch of your stuff later ! Cheers. JT ✌️
Hey thanks, JT! I hope you enjoy the channel! I’ll be checking out some of your videos as well! Cheers!!!

may i say: the quite is equal to quality ?`
or there are some others properties of the record, which we should to care about ?

Yeah, I’m not an expert by any means. My knowledge is only high level.
So obi won knobi means Belt from Kenobi. Great Video!!!
🤣🤣🤣 I never thought of it that way! Thanks for watching!
The best Beatles ever is the 2009 remastered CD....
