Great Video, good information. As a 80s Enka and Minyo Collector i was curius about the record plants in Japan....unbelievable that there only two plants....I guess would be a good buissnes to start one there. オランダからこにちわ。

Very interesting watch. Actually I'm trying to get an internship in Toyokasei, to open an 8ban-specialized pressing plant in Angola.Your help would be very welcome!
I have a few releases from both Sony Japan and Toyokasei (mostly city pop records). While it's a shame that there haven't been as many pressings compared to decades ago (not just in Japan but throughout the world), it's good to see these two companies working to satisfy the growing demand, especially for popular titles.

I have a few cds I know not vinyl from the 90s from Japan like some Clifford Brown exact replicas of the LP cover and some other and they sound great

Maybe you could tell us if you know the difference between american "deep groove" pressings like blue note, prestige, contemporary, riverside and japanese pressings and why. Also do you know much about the Venus japanese label? Thanks again Takashi. I will certainly check out the links below!
