JonMacFhearghuis Unless there's shit behind the mag catch. I was overseating mags at a class because they kept falling out due to debris behind the mag catch. I was smashing them way up in the gun to try and get them to seat. It worked out great for me.

I know its been 3 years since this comment but i agree. My dad always wanted me to get a membership to a range here in Indiana, so I got an application for it, became a member of the NRA (because you have to for this club), paid my club dues, got accepted at a meeting to join, and guess what? He never wants to go shooting with me and always makes excuses to not go to the same range he is also a member of. So I don try anymore.

I've been running PSA, DPMS, Colt and a handful of OTHER guns/uppers/lowers, etc., and have problem ZERO with ANY of them, INCLUDING the PSA gear.
I'm convinced it is the Gun Snobs who have spent a SHIT TON full of $$$ on a prized toy who feel that unless you've spent AT LEAST as much or more then they have that the lesser costing gear is worthless.

Really like father haley's mindset on minimalism with guns. I've transitioned smaller and smaller "that's what she said". Started w/ 18 SPR lights, scope and offset, went 16 RECCE, dropped way down to 8" 300BO SBR w/red dot and light, now converting it to a 6" 300 BO SBR w/PDW stock using an RMR as a primary optic and small light to carry in an edc bag. w/SOCOM mini total "barrel" length will be 12" absolutely insane.
