Ok, I've been watching your videos for a while now but this is the one that I have to comment on. The stuff you guys keep in your trucks is nice if you want to be prepared for whatever you think is going to happen but do you really think it's smart to show everyone all of the neat stuff that they could potentially steal out of your truck? Especially firearms. I do carry concealed but I don't advertise what I carry or where it is. Maybe Colorado is pretty safe but a lot of other states, not so much. Yeah... way better for guys like you to come to the channel with hopes of getting ideas on how to build out your truck, only to be left with a dark screen and a voice over saying, "Just kidding, we don't want to give anything away."
Andrew Peschau I’m thinking he doesn’t really keep his carbines in the front passenger seat. He wants to show us his guns, not where he actually keeps them in the truck. Maybe we should address why we have so many criminals on the streets to worry about though.
Have a decent job. Also Travis makes damn good money.. im sure he has well over 100k worth of military gear and weapons. He has a few pistols over 3k a piece
Not to mention his stuff sells for five times what it's worth just because it has his name and logo on it. Don't get me wrong his stuff if top notch but it's still WAY overpriced. Just like his new $100 sling that is just slightly better than a $25 Frank proctor sling.
Wait, does a handgun silencer require a special license still or is it legal without a license? And were those silencers or flash hiders on the rifles? What an amazing setup!
Assuming you're in America, silencers/suppressors are legal in most places as long as you have the federal tax stamp for the item. Its annoying to get, 200 dollars each, and can take close to year. It can get more complicated but that's the crash course.
How many training hours do those sky machines require? Also the starting price? I'd really love to get one and learn to fly. I can totally relate to Travis Haley's lifestyle the great outdoors, exploring life and living life to the fullest. "Just like the dragonfly". There's so much to life to be thankful for, and to be appreciative for.
Out of genuine curiosity, what exactly in the video would make it seem like he's a nut job? Is it the fact that he shows a few of the different gun builds that he could potentially bring with him?
He is a Force Recon Marine veteran and a firearms training instructor, so guns are actually a huge part of his job. Not sure why we are pretending an American citizen needs an explanation for owning arms, though.
omg. You gun guys kill me. Really no one needs that many guns in there truck. Before you all freak out I believe in the right to carry a gun. Not a arsenal.
You obviously cant watch a video and listen at the same time. He said he has these guns in his truck just to demo what he might choose to keep in his truck.
@@dlg5485 I'd like to see your list of legitimate lifestyles. Is that the ones where you work a desk 9-5 plus overtime in a big city where everyone is really into confiscating other people's guns, cash the same check every month, and never have time to do what you love with the people you love? Guys like Travis and Mike get to do the things they love because they are willing to try things outside the norm. Entrepreneurship used to be the norm, now everyone accepts security at the cost of choking out their growth potential. It's not a bullshit lifestyle, whatever you choose to do and make of yourself is your lifestyle.
Is it your business to decide how many guns a guy can have in his truck? The 2nd Amendment doesn't guard the right to carry a gun. It protects the right to keep and bear arms. Plural. And since it shall not be infringed, as many of them as we like.
Travis, I'm completely on board with your equipment list, but I didn't see you mention how you secure your carbines when away from your Tacoma. Whether at the grocery store or a trail head, carbines on the front seat are begging for theft. Do you plan to install a vehicle vault at some point?

I’m thinking he doesn’t really keep his carbines in the front passenger seat. He wants to show us his guns, not where he actually keeps them in the truck.
Maybe we should address why we have so many criminals on the streets to worry about though.
I noticed a bit of a lack in comms gear, though. Not sure overlanding with a just a cell phone is a smart idea.
0:40 "Some wenches" - that's harsh, bro.
What lift does this truck have?
How do these guys afford this car a family and a mortgage. jesus
That’s right Snoozer, through the faith of Jesus 👍
Have a decent job. Also Travis makes damn good money.. im sure he has well over 100k worth of military gear and weapons. He has a few pistols over 3k a piece
Plus this setup screams...I have lots of gear, come take it! Most of us can't afford this high speed gear and TRD Toyota trucks.
Pretty easy actually... He started his own company and is one of the best and well respected in the industry.
What are you guys so afraid of?
Fortunately, pretty much nothing.
I take it you wear a seatbelt because you're scared and are trying to compensate? Haha, I can't even.
Zombies
You do realize overlanding is a legitimate recreational activity in America, right? There's a good reason and purpose for everything in that truck.
so whens the truck walk around? all i saw was Travis Haley talking about guns and med kits
Haha we literally did an entire 360 degree walk around. 😉
;) ;)
Nothing on the lift or tires come on man
BFG KO2s and I think the 'lift' is just factory trd pro suspension with maybe a leveling kit.
I got you fam. AR lift with 5.56 tires.
I’m a helicopter pilot and wouldn’t fly that thing. Looks like a death trap
Rotorwind - but he said it’s a very safe sport!
Brock Nasty right.....
As long as your parachute is good you’ve nothing to worry about.
Lol, I wouldn't fly that thing if I had a helicopter either....
Lots of Helo pilots fly paramotors. Look up Mark Huneycutt.
Super nice set up... guns snd gear... How can i buy a roof rack..?? it’s look very sick brother...??
What a nut job. Hope he's on some sort of watch list.
Out of genuine curiosity, what exactly in the video would make it seem like he's a nut job? Is it the fact that he shows a few of the different gun builds that he could potentially bring with him?
Go back to watching CNN
He is a Force Recon Marine veteran and a firearms training instructor, so guns are actually a huge part of his job. Not sure why we are pretending an American citizen needs an explanation for owning arms, though.
Last Line Of Defense do you know if that D3FT holder is arriving soon?
omg. You gun guys kill me. Really no one needs that many guns in there truck. Before you all freak out I believe in the right to carry a gun. Not a arsenal.
You obviously cant watch a video and listen at the same time. He said he has these guns in his truck just to demo what he might choose to keep in his truck.
This guy is SELLING a bullshit lifestyle. None of this is real. Just another wannabe soldier boy.
@@MrJedi5150
I don't really care who he is, to be honest. I don't like the BS he's selling.
Awesome video Mike! It was great meeting you last night! Hope you have a great time in Arizona!
I was hoping he’d go over his suspension and tire set-up. Anyone know if he’s running 35’s?
No way those are 35’s. Prob 33’s with spacer lift since it’s a pro.
Great vid What is he running for lift and suspension? Thanks
Travis, I'm completely on board with your equipment list, but I didn't see you mention how you secure your carbines when away from your Tacoma. Whether at the grocery store or a trail head, carbines on the front seat are begging for theft. Do you plan to install a vehicle vault at some point?
Cool, thanks for sharing but it was too short, was hoping it would be down to LLOD-level detail lol. Never thought I'd get to see his truck, let alone how its setup. When do we get the video of you guys going overlanding together? please :)
Def. would have like to have seen some footage/specs on the trailer with the Mountain Bike in the back.
Who makes that pouch Haley keeps in his drive side door?
I'll bet that a great conversation to the officer who just does a random traffic stop. Do you have any weapons in the vehicle?
