Tara you have been a God send literally, since I decided to start my bodycare cosmetics line. I have watched so much of your videos. This was literally the only formula i kept slipping up on with balancing my percentages to get the perfect texture and look at God, here you are posting not 1, but 3 formulas. Thank for the information. You are the only one so far that has educated beginners on calculating formulas. I would like to see whipped or foaming body scrubs. Thank you again.
I find that most small business make anhydrous scrubs but a lot of the major brands make aqueous scrubs that exfoliate with harmful plastic beads. That's why I started making my own products. I definitely don't consider my brand "natural" but I also use quality ingredients that actually moisturize instead of being cheap and making high profits off of water and nonsense ingredient products lol
You are sooooo freaking talented I swear! Can you try a face scrub with papaya enzyme, rice enzyme, licorice root extract and colloidal oatmeal. That would be amazing for helping with skin tone. I would love to see how you would formulate this.

Thank you!! I used this recipe yesterday, and I would add one thing to it: it needs 70% sugar. Yes! Wow. I didn't realize it when I first made it, and had to go back and add more. Also, using lighter oils and waxes will make it less greasy, so next time I'm going to experiment with different ones. I'll report back! Thank you so much for all of your hard work, you're teaching me so much!! :)))
Have you ever tried making a scrub with brown sugar? I have and it's smells so good. The texture of the scrub is wonderful soft as well, because brown sugar is moistened with molasses. True, you have to use a preservative because of the molasses, but it doesn't last long anyway - it smells so yummy.

Would love to see a video on face scrubs: I don’t find jojoba beads exfoliate enough to bother with the investment (a lot of makers use beads in face scrubs and they’re expensive) so I’m going to experiment with two varieties - an enzymatic scrub (I recently bought cosmetic grade pineapple enzyme power) and one using clays that are gently exfoliating like kaolin (which is also nice because it doesn’t leave a mess around your sink like some of the French clays or the darker clays you associate with mud masks). Anyway, I’d love some tips if you’re interested in producing a new face scrub video!
