Hi Tara! I just want to say THANK YOU. You have literally changed my life. I have been reading a lot of literature regarding ingredientes and formulations for months now, trying to underrstand the use of all of them, but it's quite different seeing someone actually going through the motions and explaining in such a simple way. I am going through a very difficult situation right now (as many of us I guess), and after watching a few of your videos I muster the courage to go ahead and buy the materials needed to start making body creams / butters. I am scared but also confident and hopefully in a couple of months i will have my own formulatiosn ready for sale. You are changing people's lives with yout videos. I am proof of it. ♥
Me and my friends n family are totally obsessed with the results of using it..glowing happy looking skin..the only makeup i use when filming is light bronzer and lipgloss...THIS IS SO HELPFUL THANK YOU!!!😘🛀💎👑
I absolutely love your channel!! I have learned so much and have started doing some beginner formulations. I literally sit here and binge watch your channel😩 stop being addicting sis😂 any mommys in here that formulate, let’s connect!
I just love your channel so much! I'm happy you're back. I honey watch your videos when I need inspiration and education on formulating. I appreciate you so much!
Love the series so much Tara! I’m with you, I would love to see more facial products like toners & such. Also, I’m not sure if you’ve ever did this but I would love to see you make/play around with body mist/perfumes that last all day (like with alcohol because water based ones don’t last & they turn milky looking). Thanks for all your help so far!
Hello Tara. You are God Sent. I had been purchasing premade foaming bath whip not knowing about this recipe. 1) By making my own, I truly know exactly what's going into the recipe and 2) I will save a lot of money. I will watch the whole series. Thank You!
Awesome formulations. I'd like you to do more facial masks! Especially emulsified facial masks, Thanks for all the hard work you do coming oyt with new content!
Hi Tara! I just made the simple foaming whipped soap today. It’s super amazing dear :) Hey can you kindly guide us about how many minutes & times should it be whipped, to make sure it stays the same & doesn’t loose it’s consistency or fluffiness. Thanks!
Am in Nigeria and I just recently joined your UA-cam Chanel and trust me I have learned tons of new and insightful things. Thank so much. I would like you to do a video for lotion formulations.
Love my girl and her videos.. I am a candlemaker and the more I look at your videos I'm more confident I can add some salves and butters to my repertoire...YOU ARE A GIFT TO ME, THANK YOU
Interesting video. Btw, While Stearic Acid is not an emulsifier, when Stearic Acid Triple Pressed reacts with Triethanolamine in a formulation, it does create Triethanolamine Stearate, which is an emulsifier created in situ during the fornulation and yes, it can be used alone as an emulsifier without adding any other emulsifier to your formulation.
My doggies name is Luna 🥰 thank you for doing all these videos! I feel like there’s so many videos to make really quick & cheap stuff to sell for fast money. I’m truly looking to start a business that people want to consistently buy from, and I also want to ensure that they receive the best product every single time. This is my passion & I really can’t thank you enough for giving me the confidence to dive into skincare
Love you, you are the best one on you tube who makes formulations.Really loved this video and foaming scrubs. You help chemists everywhere around the world. We really need more people like u.❤❤❤
yeah new video i am new follower of your channel from Bangladesh. nowadays i wait when will you upload your video , so helpful so amazing , you are so helpful with your recipe i literally learning everything about cosmetics making. hope one day i will be like you. lots of love
You're always such a joy to watch!! Thanks for all your info and help!! Iwould love to see a video on masks! Clay, wipe off, etc... Much love and support!
I am loving your beginner series! I am learning so much. I would love to see the other scrubs and lip scrubs but I am also interested in the toner too.
I have to say that I really like your very explanatory tutorial for beginners. Being a newby, I have purchased a whipped foaming soap that I use for my shaving soap recipe that comes out super good and foamy. I now have a small clientele of guys who love using the shaving soap which is just mildly scented. My question: Can I use the premade whipped foaming soap and incorporate the sugars, salts, powders, etc., for a body scrub? Also, I liked all of your recipes, and want to do one from scratch, but in going back and reviewing your first unscented recipe, I think I missed something(?)...I didn't see where you added anything to the Stearic acid before covering it with aluminum foil and adding it to the water bath(?) I don't think you heated it without adding oil...can you tell me if I missed anything that you added to the stearic acid phase-- it's the first recipe. Thank you!💖💖
Thank you so much! I’m glad you are loving the series. 😁 & yup you can use a premade soap base and add exfoliants to it. And the first recipe just had stearic acid in the heated oil phase. I didn’t add any oil to it. Also I’m glad you have customers loving your items! That’s amazing 😁
Thank you. My coworkers love whipped body scrub and they ask me to make them some. I was little confused of the ingredients but this really help a lot... Can you use fragrance oils or essential oils
I have been WAITING for this video ! The scrub formulation video was helpful, but I wanted to make my own version of the foaming scrub without purchasing the whipped soap base. Thanks for this helpful video once again Tara !!
I currently do not have SCI, but is glyceryl stearate a good option for this foaming scrub ? I know it's not a foaming agent, but as a thickener, will the consistency be different ?
Glyceryl stearate is more of a co emulsifier so it wouldnt work for emulsifying the oils, but you should be able to use it instead of the stearic acid. Give it a go and let me know how it turns out 😁
Hi Tara, this video is so amazing! It helps people to see the differences in the textures of your recipes! May I know if i can use sweet almond oil to replace the sunflower oil instead?
You have been such a help girl! Bless you for your videos🥰 I would love to see how to make bronzing facial powder without talc...I use mine year round.
Ahhhh I really amazed and loved the formulation and really loved all the texture I already watched before a year but now it makes sense because I'm binge watching and studying and searching really Iam loving and I want to try it and thank you for your guidance and teaching loved it sister ♥️♥️♥️
Something special I got to see when I needed it.i'm from an Asian country, can I show you what a skin whitening scrub is for a group of customers who want to whiten their skin?
What a great video, going to try them today Sunday Fun formulating day for me! I will tweak a little with the exfoliant, we shall see how that goes, thanks again for the time and effort you put into these videos!
Hi! Is it possible to change the stearic acid for cetyl alcohol or cetearyl alcohol?? Will this change a lot the texture of this scrubs?? Thank you sooo, soo much! I am learning a lot with your videos!
Hi Tara!! Absolutely love your videos!! I don't know if you've mentioned it before but could you post the link for the mica powder you use? I'm looking at the reviews for the ones on Amazon and most seem to stain the skin 😔
🤗🤗🤗I def wanna try these formulations!!!! Right now I might just stick with a pre-made whipped soap base until I get more revenue form sales to buy all the separate ingredients.
Hi Tara, is it possible to use 3 different butters like manga, shea & coco butters instead of 1 butter for the advance scrub. Thanks for sharing your knowledge it really helos alot.😍🙏
Hi Tara! Thank you sooo, sooo, much for this videos, you explain it sooo well. I am learning a lot with them! Now, I am trying to understand the diference in this 3 formulations and trying to get how you swip ingredients and why. For example, the 2nd formula, has way less water and more sugar thant the other 2. Why is that?? What are you swiping it for? I understand that as the 1st formula is not an emulsified formula, has more water phase and more stearic acid to make it a bit "harder". But I don't get why the 2nd one has that little water and much more sugar on it. Thanks a lot for all your videos, are amazing!
@taralee thank you so much for this upload!!! It’s super helpful!!🙂 can you substitute the German plus for optiphen plus? And what is the purpose of the strawberry extract?
Thank you very much for all the information, I do however have a question. I made a batch of sugar scrub with 10lbs 92 degrees coconut oil 1 gal hemp seed oil 1/4 gal sweet almond oil 25lbs sugar but now I realize it has oils on top. did I put too much oil? how can I correct that. thank you

Hi i luv ur recipes and tutorials. Should I use distilled water in second recipe? Why use didtilled water? I didn’t add it but the fomula was good. And, if I don’t use distilled water, e-wax doesn’t need. Right?
Hi Tara. Love your channel your videos are so informative. I would love to see an updated version of your creamy body wash. I can’t find gentle foam. 👍❤️
I’m not sure what CAPB is so I’m not sure about that one, and I’ve never actually worked with SLS but I do know it comes in a powder form like SCI so it may work. Give it a go and let me know how it works out 😁
Hello Tara love love your recipes! I use your foaming sugar scrub recipe in this video. The second blue one. I have just replaced somne of the sunflower oil with shea butter and increased the sugar in it . One thing that happened after doing that is that when I ship these, They leak and the oil gets seperated. Can you guide me why that can happen? thank you so much!
