i agree with you but well.... most of the small businesses just don't want to lose their customers and the little extra income they make.... i mean, if everyone made the things everyone loves do you seriously think that anyone will want to buy something they know that they can easily make at home? i mean, even making a hot dog from the hot dog bread to even the sausage or what ever you want to put in your hot dog bread can just be made at home but we choose to either buy the whole hot dog from the hot dog stand than make it at home or we just buy the hot dog bread from a store and then we make our own filling at home........ but if you see this example logically, it's just much easier to buy something like a whole hot dog with all the fillings even if you can make it for yourself plus you are not wasting time or extra money by just buying a freshly made hot dog from the hot dog stand..... and also most small businesses don't want to give their trade secrets because someone else can then claim that recipe as their own..... and also, if you see, these small businesses are mainly started to earn some extra income along with their regular 9 to 5 job..... So, imagine that you are a single mum, and you have to not just feed yourself but your kids.... you would have to earn enough income to not just pay your bills but also your kids' school and college fees and other things.... so, how are you going to do all that working a 9 to 5 job and then give your secret recipes that you formulate to people who are willing to just copy all your ingredients? i am not a mum nor do i have kids nor do i have a job of any kind since i quit my degree college education due to sever depression and nervous breakdown, but i guess that these small businesses have their reasons for not doing so, but i mainly think that sometimes not all the people who have small businesses can truly even get enough income from a 9 to 5 job...... it's lucky if they get a job to even pay them something to start with...... and it's even better if that same 9 to 5 job pays them a high salary and good colleagues with good and healthy work ethics to even start their small business..... but if you get a job and you know that the colleagues and the work ethics are terrible and you know that you don't have a choice, do you seriously think that you would be willing to share your recipes with others even if it means that you will be losing the little income you get out of your small business? the people who share their recipes normally do it mostly out of good will and also though these videos do earn them some income, it's not much for people who really have no money to spend on themselves or on their family....... so i think that though you are right in some ways, it's not all that simple at times to do such things as sharing something you come up with...... because not all people who look at the recipes will just do it for themselves or their families and friends, they could sell that same recipe under a different name, and this could get you and your small business into big unwanted trouble....
I wasn't really measuring but based on estimation did the scrub with all the ingredients in this video. I'm gonna tell, this is the perfect body scrub ever that I made. My skin is soft after shower. So simple and easy to understand. God Bless you gurl.
For people who may want to make this for others, be careful because although it's anhydrous, if it's going to come into contact with water, it needs a preservative.
After seeing all the videos this chanel has(thank you, in my country there's just like 2 people who make this and it's super expensive. Now I can make it myself to gift to my teen daughter)i can bet you must be one of the best smelling people of the world. Like that kind of people who walks and it's like a bouquet of flowers is walking
Following you immediately. I attended one training where the facilitator used water for scrub when I asked what do when it separates she said the customer will stir it before using, deep inside I felt she wasn't teaching us exactly what she's selling. That you so much.
I make most of my products for personal use so with this one i did not add a preservative because i don’t take it into the shower, i scoop it out with a spoon. But if u want to use a preservative you can test leucidal plus or germal plus to see if u like working with them.
That sugar scrub you made looks and smells just like the treehut and other brands that you buy online or at the store it makes my skin after using it and washing it off and after washing in the shower and drying off and put it on my body lotion my skin on my body feels soft and smooth like anything that soft like cotton ball a satin scarf a flower your skin looks amazing body the way ❤😍
I just made this and added an ounce of cocoa butter to thicken it up a little. Its a great scrub but don't be fooled that it is an emulsified scrub just because the whipped oils looked like they were emulsified. It is oily and will leave your skin oily but after you dry off with a towel, your skin will be smooth and not oily.
Finally a simple recipe easy to follow thank you! You did mention there was a video on cool down for oils I can't find it. At what temperature should the oils be in order to add all other ingredients? TIA
Mixture is rock solid so I have to try melt it and then it’s fab.. just a nuisance having to melt it every time… wondering should I add more liquid oil but I don’t want to ruin the wonderful feeling on the skin from this recipe
For those that may not know Can you add HOW TO USE DIRECTIONS in your description or in the comments Meaning is one to use in the shower or outside of the shower You would be surprised at the questions I get

Thank you so much for guidance and detailed explanantion! I followed your instructions for my new scrub and it was amazing. I did add a preservative because I am selling them. I live in a very hot, and humid place.
Can u switch the cocoa butter for shea or mango, looks beautiful i made one today with cocoa b and a few hours later it has harden up a bit as i am guessing the cocoa butter starts to solidify a bit, but still works well.
Hola, saludos desde República Dominicana. Muchas gracias por su vídeo. Tengo una duda, en una temperatura calurosa no se derrite? Vivo en un pais tropical.
Does it have to be kept refrigerated? If it does not have any type of cosmetic preservatives, how long does it last. Does the scrib melt or does it stay like that as if it were meringue?
It's does not melt and does not need to be kept in the refrigerator. Add a preservative if you think water will get in the scrub, if not you can scoop it out with a spoon like I do.
Hello! Thank you for the video! I have a question if you don’t mind me answering. Is this a good alternative to an emulsified sugar scrub? I wanted to make one but I don’t have emulsifiers. Does this mixture hold it’s consistency or will it fall apart/separate over time? Thank you for your time! 🥰
