i think there's an argument to pass on Akuma to make room for other street fighter characters because there have been a lot of new characters in street fighter added since mvc3 that feel like they would mesh with the hyper jumping gameplay of mvc, Luke i don't know how he would that well since he is very similar to ryu in gameplay but i think since capcom is pushing him a lot harder as the new face of Street Fighter it would be weird for him not to be there, juri obviously makes a lot of sense, Rashid also i think feels perfectly suited to it since he's already one of the most mobile Street Fighters out there, another one i think could be really cool is Seth since they have already copied a lot of other marvel vs Capcom moves like Cyclops' gene splice uppercut in SF4 or and Jin Saotome's blodia punch in SF5 having a character like that interacting with even more characters to steal moves from would be really cool to see and there is precedent for it already with Android 21 in dragon Ball Fighterz and Rogue way back in X-Men vs Street Fighter and marvel vs Capcom 2

The fantastic 4 are tricky cause it's an all or nothing deal with them. You can't just have only 1 member of the 4 in the game, but at the same time, I think it's hard to justify having 4 whole slots dedicated to them.

Zero from the Megaman Zero series, as much as I dig the MMZ outfit colors from Ultimate MVC3 it's just not enough for me, we got SNK vs Capcom Chaos re-released and that was a godsend for me to see that game return from the 🪦 unfortunately I highly doubt Onimusha blade warriors will ever come back let alone get ported to all platforms, my only next hope is if MVC4 happens that they put the Zero series version of Zero in it, I mean shit how many times have they used his regular X variant already in MVC and the other game TVC I'd just like to see more of his GBA appearance there just ain't enough of it
For Nemesis, I feel like his reputation got a bit mixed due to the remakes, and seeing that they used an art of the remake version of him for the Capcom Vote Event it's safe to say that they'll stick with that version. Which makes me not want him in cuz he isn't going to be the competent, smart and unstoppable version of him that I'd much rather prefer :/

Tbh,Luke fits Marvel more than Ryu. Ryu's too basic and capcom never actually makes anything new with the character. Ryu is only in Marvel because he is the face of SF.

unlike the older games mainly 2, i don't think they will do that and instead be akin to 3 because i strongly believe they will do it 3d and 2 having 56 characters was just re-using the same sprites over and over from games prior and trying to replicate it in 3d is wishful thinking because any attempt at doing that is basically asking for an extreme development time and the game having a lot of memory space. infinite tried reusing a lot of assets from 3 and that was pure laziness

MVC4 should have every single fighter and should be the Super Smash Bros Ultimate and MK: Armageddon of that game. Like how MVC2 was like MK Trilogy. Have all stages, endings, music, etc. And have the arcade mode similar to Street Fighter 5: Arcade Edition. MVC4 also needs single match, ratio match, 3-on-3 and 2-on-2, as well as a groove system and color edit modes from Capcom VS SNK 2. And 1p VS CPU like MVC: Infinite should return.

MVC4 should add One Characters who's neither a Marvel nor a Capcom Character like (Fatal Fury's Terry Bogard for SNK, Gatchaman's Ken the Eagle for Tatsunoko, & Tekken's Heihachi Mishima for Namco).
2:34 why not do Karl from RE8? We get a new RE rep that is from the later games, alongside a heavy rushdown character. His level 3 can even be a mutated form. Also, Nemesis is already on the list, with way too many RE reps. It's like Fire Emblem reps in smash. Also, Megaman and Megaman X as seperate characters. Both have different Robot Masters they could use, and you could even do a Power Battle mechanic with OG that allows him to use RM weapons from a certain set of games in the series. 1-4, 5-8, and 9-11. Also, I would probably add 2099 and 2010 Ken as characters, seeing that it would be an interesting future dynamic between the two. Also, seeing 2010 Ken interacting with OG ken would be fun.
Frank West, Arthur, Strider, Rocket, Storm and Sentinel could sidelined. Juri may take Chun Li's place. Any other Final Fight character could replace Mike Haggar. We need more villain characters like Bison, Sigma, Copy X, Thanos, Loki, or Ultron. How about Green Goblin, Electro, Superior Spidey or Sandman instead of Venom. Megaman.exe would be awesome as DLC character as it would be very hard to include him in story mode (if any). Miss Marvel(Kamala Khan) and Moonknight are good candidates for Marvel newcomers. Ms. Marvel is the most popular character of the ANAD era after Miles Morales.

Replace Ms. Marvel with Electra or The Sentry as she’s one of many reasons why the MCU post Endgame has been a disaster, being the complete opposite of popular as opposed to what you said in this video. Replace Felicia with Jon Talbain as being the Darkstalkers representative as well.

They were planned for Marvel vs Capcom 3 but ultimately had to be scrapped because Human Torch was tanking the games performance

Zero from the Megaman Zero series, as much as I dig the MMZ outfit colors from Ultimate MVC3 it's just not enough for me, we got SNK vs Capcom Chaos re-released and that was a godsend for me to see that game return from the 🪦 unfortunately I highly doubt Onimusha blade warriors will ever come back let alone get ported to all platforms, my only next hope is if MVC4 happens that they put the Zero series version of Zero in it, I mean shit how many times have they used his regular X variant already in MVC and the other game TVC I'd just like to see more of his GBA appearance there just ain't enough of it

I feel like his reputation got a bit mixed due to the remakes, and seeing that they used an art of the remake version of him for the Capcom Vote Event it's safe to say that they'll stick with that version.

unlike the older games mainly 2, i don't think they will do that and instead be akin to 3 because i strongly believe they will do it 3d and 2 having 56 characters was just re-using the same sprites over and over from games prior and trying to replicate it in 3d is wishful thinking because any attempt at doing that is basically asking for an extreme development time and the game having a lot of memory space. infinite tried reusing a lot of assets from 3 and that was pure laziness

Shang Chi with the 10 rings would be a dirty new Marvel pick to add to the roster.... have a couple of the rings able to do certain things to boost his power set and abilities, add a meditation move/stance that recovers health like wolverine's healing factor. they could do so much with him.... also bring in Fei Long with his nunchucks for the Capcom side i want to see a showdown between the 2 of them

MVC4 should have every single fighter and should be the Super Smash Bros Ultimate and MK: Armageddon of that game. Like how MVC2 was like MK Trilogy. Have all stages, endings, music, etc. And have the arcade mode similar to Street Fighter 5: Arcade Edition. MVC4 also needs single match, ratio match, 3-on-3 and 2-on-2, as well as a groove system and color edit modes from Capcom VS SNK 2. And 1p VS CPU like MVC: Infinite should return.

MVC4 should add One Characters who's neither a Marvel nor a Capcom Character like (Fatal Fury's Terry Bogard for SNK, Gatchaman's Ken the Eagle for Tatsunoko, & Tekken's Heihachi Mishima for Namco).
2:34 why not do Karl from RE8? We get a new RE rep that is from the later games, alongside a heavy rushdown character. His level 3 can even be a mutated form. Also, Nemesis is already on the list, with way too many RE reps. It's like Fire Emblem reps in smash.
Also, Megaman and Megaman X as seperate characters. Both have different Robot Masters they could use, and you could even do a Power Battle mechanic with OG that allows him to use RM weapons from a certain set of games in the series. 1-4, 5-8, and 9-11.
Also, I would probably add 2099 and 2010 Ken as characters, seeing that it would be an interesting future dynamic between the two. Also, seeing 2010 Ken interacting with OG ken would be fun.
