Make your own adjustable dog collar!
We love making our own dog accessories as it means we can fully customise and choose our favourite fabrics, and with our growing puppy it means we can adjust the collar so it fits her as she grows.
Please note the strength of the collar will be dependant on the quality of the buckle, webbing and fabric used, as well as the stitching. For this reason, we advise the collar made from this tutorial should only used as a cute accessory and tag holder.

Do you have to take the measurement of the buckle out of the total?

Because the collar is adjustable no you don't need to worry about it!
If you were making a custom size to fit the neck (without the adjustable mechanism) then yes you'd need to account for the buckle width.

For this tutorial we used a Brother LS14S. It's super affordable and has done well for home projects over the years!
