A lil more info: Only the first 30 orders will be in the coffin box. The rest will be in custom mylar bags.
Switches are getting QC, so nothing received should be (particularly) scratchy or overlubed.
Different boards make such a difference in sound. Thanks for showing this as many people still don't grasp this.
This is such an underrated channel
It is
He'll get there just takes time i guess
fr
Amazing video! I love the way you give an honest and very insightful review!
Lets goo, I've been looking at these for a few days now
and now you reviewed them
Really appreciate the amount of time and effort you put into your videos. It's evident not only in the video quality and style, but I can also imagine the time that goes into prepping, with taking the switches in and out of different boards. Thank you!
I love watching your reviews! Thank you so much for sharing 😍
tysm! i am going to use them as stock for my first build
Good video, nice and concise.
Lucid ❤ Great video, switches sound great!
Clack with a punch! Really loved that spacebar in the ModeEighty.
Wow sounds great in that mode 80 build
Wow these sound absolutely amazing I don't mind scratch tbh
these switches are actually really good!
That ping on the wind65 my goodness, it sounded like a toy machine gun going off, but that may also be your typing speed lol
"used to store important items I can reach quickly"
the items: metal rectangulars
this is true
I really like the way you do reviews, as objective as it can possibly be, actually informative and concise. One thing I noticed though, there is a kind of hissing noise during the sound tests. I went back and checked your other videos and found nothing like it in them. I don't know if it comes from the switches, so I just wanted to let you know in case it isn't.
I think it might just be the sound of the scratch, I didn't change anything with the audio setup
I'm really into double-staged spring right now. This looks great tho.
just like black cherry pie switch?
nice
for whatever reason, i really like the vague scratchiness of these switches, especially on the mode80.
same with me.. i love slightly scratchy switches. if you haven't yet, try TTC hey switches. they are factory lubed and feel really good out the box just like the red jackets. they have a velvety feel to them and are so good
That spacebar in the beginning reminded me of an SA spacebar.
will my mode65 like this or similar to this if I have the same plate and same switches and im looking for the windx65 sound on the video
*opens the storage of the desk and the storage has tons of keyboards*
that wind x65 sounds nice. is that with all the foams, specifically the ixpe foam?
Just regular case and plate
@@nearLucid oh that's pretty good then. pretty impressed with that sound
what are the keycaps on the mode 80 build?
wouldnt a slide out cabinet make a keyboard sound hollow?
Do the green jacket bro
hi i was looking for a great and loud long pole switches, and i found this switch on my local vendor. currently leaning toward KTT hyacinth which noticably louder than SOTC...
aside from red jacket do you have any recommendation for a loud long pole switches?
That wind x65 spacebar. Holy shit it’s exactly like the holy panda fjell Taeha made
THOCK
also, you say these switches are loud. do you happen to have zakus to compare the loudness to?
So like cjs but clacky instead of thocky?
Would you recommend SOTC's over red jackets? What in particular is better about them?
smoothness
How do these compare to techno violets/ zakus
SQIUD GAMES❗❗
They sounded best with the alu plate but I'm a thock guy not a clack guy so they're not for me. They look amazing though.
I wonder how these compare to epsilons or matcha lattes.
I have 220 of both - love them both, but honestly, I think I like these a bit more. They have a bit more character. A little bit more of a full sound signature. Epsilons are a bit thockier and smoother, but rely heavily on that pole bottoming out to produce any sound. There's just something about these that I love. Plus the guy who makes them is a really nice dude. I got mine before he even restocked them on the site, because I was BSing with him on live chat on his site lol. And he gave me 5% off.
what keycaps are on your mode80?
gmk bushido there might still be some instock on novelkeus
@@davejohny2620 Thanks!
so its a poesiden switch with a different name? cool
What do these do compare to alpaca v2s L+F
In short, a lot more consolidated, scratchier, nicer feeling spring (imo), stronger sound
@@nearLucid I changed my alpaca to 68g springs cause the 63 was wayyy to soft. Feels way better now. Very smooth
Those are incredibly loud. At least its a click rather than a clack, but damn that's loud.
I do not think it could compete with jwk recolours or even jwicks for this price point
btw nice video!
I can hear gunshot when I hear the sound
오랑우탄🦧
lol "squidgame switches"
These are horribly tight. Almost impossible to clip them without a heart attack on the pcb.
just curious about the wind x.. does that setup have foam between the pcb and plate or in the bottom of the case?
