I built my pc a few months ago and didn't do enough research ,I chose the r9 5900x, its been great and I haven't noticed any issues while gaming
Fantastic video
Would really have loved to see the 7950x3d in the benchmarks
Thanks great info
U keep saying "7800 X3D".... but your PowerPoint slide says "7000"
The Ryzen 5 6-core chips are still budget kings. The 5600/X is $110($70 if you know where to look) for mid level gaming and the 3600 for $50 is great to pair with 6600 or 7600 GPUs. Add a $17 Thermalright AX120 cooler, $70-$100 B450/B550 mobo, $50 32GB 3200 CL16 RAM and you're set. You can also pick up the 5700X3D for $130(AE) or MC or Neweg bundles with mobo and RAM.
Would it be worth it for me to get a 5 9600x over a 7600x or should I just stick with the 7600x
7600 or 7700
@@PcCentric thanks
Fast becoming my go to guy on pc stuff
I have upgraded my gaming pc with one part left out. I have a 7950X cpu but I also have a 16gb 4060ti gpu but I am afraid that that GPU might bottleneck that cpu. So my question is Marcus which GPU would you recommend for that CPU? I will be playing games like Cyberpunk, Hogwarts Legacy and Dead Island 2. From Ethen.
HELLO WORLD- IAM WERY HAPPY WHIT MY RYZEN 7800X3D- GRET VIDEO AS ALWAYS
my 4090 with intel i9 14900k has been SOLID. no regrets
crickets
Lol how the hell could you have any regrets with that setup😂...where are the people who pieced their setup together and had to hope for the best.. that's my people 😅
thanks for the info
Nice guide for us non techies. Thank you and i will buy the AMD 7800X3D. Team red for the first time in many many years.
As a gamer that also wants to dable in creation kit for starfield i went for a Ryzen7 7700x with 64gb ram on 6000mhz and cl40 combined with a gigabyte radeon rx 7600xt with 16gb of vram.
Going from a 2019 laptop with Ryzen5 5600h and 16gb ram with a rtx3050mobile gpu and only 4gb
I hope it does the trick and i am able to use the kit, and have sf run above 35fps 😂
To be fair, all cpu seem to have issues atm. It always was about the rng for silicon and with these latest cpu releases... Thats even more the case, just find that cpu you know it wil do what you ask and hope for the best when you buy👍🏻 6:15
Good info
I'm actually still doing quite well with my 2600X and RTX 2070. I'd like THE absolute best cpu, so im thinking of going AM5 and 7800X3D and RTX 4080 Super.
love my i9-13900KF. Bomb ass results from it for Black Myth Wukong and Space Marine 2. Ultra max settings at 1440p I'm getting between 80fps - 110fps. GPU is Nvidia RTX 4080
If I’m looking to run virtual machines as well as gaming , any best suggestions for cpu?
i consider myself lucky for watching this video this morning, i nearly went with r7 9700x because of low power consumption because i am using solar energy but r7 7800x 3d seem better, thank u
Are the 7700 and 7700X results flipped here somehow? Seems like the non-X is winning here in these games between the two.
I’m currently with a 5800x3d and 4070 ( bought founder edition at launch) 32gb ddr4 3600mhz ram. I use a 1440p 240hz monitor, and am not sure if to upgrade and if so what to upgrade to… help?
Thanks Marcus!!!!
This is my second High end Gaming machine (ALL WHITE) to be build this year for flight Sim 2024. I have an all-white 4090 Rog Strix GPU and it would be great to get your opinion on what to buy? Ryzen9 or Intel i9...with and High-end motherboard?
I'm looking at a 7800x3d and a 4070 super for MS flight simulator as the only game I anticipate playing. The rest of the computer tasks will be for MS Office, streaming to my television, and internet browsing. What's verdict on my choices? Great video by the way.
My question is, how do these perform for other gaming options? Planet Zoo was the best case for my use as I'd use the processor to manage sim Racing and paradox grand strategy games where lots of calculations are being made all the time. In this case it seems like the Ryzen 9 7900 would be better than the 7 7800X3D as it has more cores? That's how I understood it, whereas the 7 7800X3D would be best for FPS
recently my 13600k pretty much died, got my money back and for half the price i "downgraded" to a 12700k. nobody should ever consider 13th/14th gen intel cpus ngl
Im about to make a budget build , do you guys think ryzen 5 7600x is a good choise for the next 5 years? (or more :D)
Ryzen 9 7900x3d ?
Will i5 14600k be impacted by the current intel problems?
Hey Chat! So i'm not very well versed with PC building or knowledge. I want to upgrade my son's GPU from GTX1660 to a RTX3060. He has a b450 Mobo and Ryzen 5 3600. Would this be a good combo? Or save up and see if a 4070 down the road would be better? But then probably need a better CPU/Mobo? Sorry for my ignorance.
I'm surpassing my 360hz OLED with 14900k + 4090. Zero issues thank God. Plus workflow with Adobe all in favor with Intel.
Bro are u getting any isse with i91400k?
No reason to not have the 7950X3D on these lists... It's becoming annoying to constantly see this CPU missing from benchmarks.
Gamers Nexus have a video with the 7800,7900,7950. But in their other vids they leave them out too. The 7900X3D is really efficient too compared.
Would be nice if you addressed the recent Windows update for the 8000s. Guess news doesn't cross the internet as fast cuz it has to go thru the Atlantic ocean at the speed of light. :)p
It's crazy how good 7800X3D is.
Lower power draw is definitely better as long as it has minimal impact on performance.
You should do single pc setups for streaming and gaming
The Ryzen 7800x3d is getting hard to find, did they stop producing them?
In which GPU should i go with the Ryzen 7 7800x3d and which Motherboard also?
In a couple months this will need to be redone for the 9000x3d’s for sure hehe :p
I have a z790 motherboard with a 12th gen i9 the plan was to upgrade to the 14th gen i9 is it safe to get a brand new one i really don’t want to buy a new motherboard as well
bruh what about ks or kf?
Ive never regretted buying my 13900kf its been absolutely brilliant
Right there with you!
until it isn't? idk...
Intel kids crying in the corner
@@rjstar9793are you mentally unstable?
Wat i5 gen ?
Would a Ryzen 7 7800x3d be over kill for a 3090ti?
Im thinking of getting the AMD Ryzen 9 7900X along with an Nvidia RTX 4060 ti 16 gb, ram I'm going to get something over 32gb . I'm getting it to upgrade my current pc which i use for work and a bit of gaming. Open to recommendations before I buy.
The best thing to do right now, is to wait for the 9800X3D, then get DDR5-6400 CL30, since that is the new sweet spot for Zen 5, make sure to get 2x32GB, since while 32GB is the new standard, 64GB will get you noticeably better 1% and 0.1% lows and will last you much longer.
Anything over 6000 doesnt run 1:1 by default though - will investigate
@@PcCentric It is said that 6400 will run at 1:1 for Zen 5
@@PcCentric
It can, on overclocking forums you can see people hitting 6200 regularly and even 6400 sometimes. My R5 7600 on a Gigabyte mobo could also run the 6400 Mt/s XMP profile of my Intel oriented Vengeance 2x16GB kit (LOL 😀) in 1:1 mode.
I have an i7 13700k on an MSI MAG Z790 Tomahawk with stock settings. With the BIOS released 08/12, I had three BSOD while installing Windows 11 Pro. The BIOS fix does not work for me, I'm AMD bound and $1000 Candadian out of pocket now due to needing a motherboard and supported RAM. Going for a Ryzen 7 7700X due to price on an MSI MAG B650 Tomahawk and 2x16GB Corsair Dominator Platinum 6000MT/s CL30. Looking forward to stability with my Red Devil Limited Edition RX 7800 XT! GO TEAM RED!!
Which is better 7800x3d or 7950x3d
If you need the extra cores, buy the 7950X3D? 🤔
Why no 5000X3D? They should do quite well competing with these CPUs with the 7900GRE used in these test.
Total: $185.74
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 3600 3.6 GHz 6-Core Processor ($50.00)
CPU Cooler: Thermalright Assassin X 120 V2 66.17 CFM CPU Cooler ($16.79 @ Amazon)
Motherboard: Asus Prime B450M-A II Micro ATX AM4 Motherboard ($69.98 @ Amazon)
Memory: Silicon Power GAMING 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) DDR4-3200 CL16 Memory ($48.97 @ Amazon)
Is this before the Windows update that increases Ryzen performance?
I want 4k at the highest refresh rate possible and be able to stream. What cpu ??
So 7600 is way better value than the 7600X since its $30 cheaper and you get a cooler with the 7600 but not with the 7600X
So obviously, I was looking between the 7800 X3D and the 7950x3d. I’m thinking I’m gonna need the productivity side of the 7950 so it worked out for me. All that being said Amazon delivered it to the wrong house, they ended up refunding me the price that I paid for it, and then a neighbor knocked on my door and said that they had a couple days later. So essentially I got a 7950 for free. That being said, I feel like I’ve seen a good bit of things about the 7950 being a little more difficult than the 7800 what’s everyone’s?
wow... the luck man
what would i get for streaming while i game or would a streaming pc be better
I am considering buying a prebuilt pc costing around 1300$ (my country is kinda expensive btw). It has an Intel i5 12400f, 16gb ram and an rtx 4060. My current pc has a ryzen 5 3600, 16gb ram and a gtx 1660 (not sure if it's ti or super). Is this a good enough upgrade?
I'm looking at the same cpu. Its fine for now. Will still hold up for like 5 or 6 more years i think before you need to upgrade and its a good price. But that price you are paying is so high! I am getting everything except the graphics card for about 375$
Would a "Ryzen 7 7800X3d" be a good match with a "RTX 2080Ti" ?
Any gpu is a good match for 7800x3d
Most people say they don't care about power or power efficiency. Meanwhile Intel cpu burn themselves out and now people worry about it. That is hella funny.
i am thinking of going with 14500 or 14400 which one shall i go to and also any help on the motherboard i should go with.... with better thermals and vrm support future proof..
If wanting to build a PC for VR is there a preference? Noob question sorry
Hi can i use wd40. Specialist. Contact cleaner to clean thermal paste from cpu ?
where's the 7950x3d or the 7900x3d ??
I'm a gamer but I also want to use the cpu for game design in unreal engige. Based on the stats, should I go for an intel one or stick to ryzen?
Running a 4080 (165 Hz, 2K) with 12600, non K version. What would you recommend, CPU wise? Got the CPU for free so I didn't think much of it, I don't really have any issues at all..but I feel an itch. I only use my PC for gaming, got FPS up the wazoo but still thinking about an upgrade. Any tips?
I still use 5700x still a good chip ,if I wanted to upgrade in the future what would you recommend ?
I paired mine with a 5700x3d and 7900gre. Its absolutely overkill already for 1440p ultra settings. I'm sure if you have the budget, 7800x3d is a no brainer
I have a 12100 and rx 6800xt now. some times in games like cp2077 or jedi surviver i face bad performance dropes (for my taste ofc, too sensitive maybe) and I'm thinking of a possible upgrade. but i can't decide if it's better to just buy a 12400 with no motherboard change or even bios updates or 7600 with ddr5 ram and motherboard costs. is it gonna be a decent upgrade or waste?
I’m doing a build with a 4070 super and getting a cpu/motherboard/ram bundle from micro center would you guys recommend the 7700x bundle at $400 or the 7800x3d bundle at $550?
Should i get the 7900x????
I have a Radeon RX 6600 for my GPU, and an i5-9600k for my current CPU. If I was to get a new CPU, what CPU should i get?
AM5
I have intel i7 13700k should I upgrade or wait a few more years
