Hello, thank you for your videos! I see that you recommend the GE Ultra Fresh. How long do these front loaders seem to last? Do they often need repairs? I'm trying to find a durable washing machine that cleans my clothes well. My friend's dad said I should stay away from front loaders because they often have problems with the doors where they leak or need other repairs.
If you want the best quality machine I would recommend you look at the Speed Queen line. The TC5 is my choice. Thanks for watching!
Between the LG and a Speed Queen….which would you recommend for a household with a 68 and 74 year olds. There is one that does do a lot of camping, fishing and outdoor stuff so it is not unusual to do @ 4-5 loads a week. I would like this to be the last washer machine to purchase.
If you buy the Speed Queen it will probably outlive you. They are usually good for 25 years in a household. I see 35 year old Speed Queens that are still going strong. Thanks for watching!

So I went to our local reputable appliance store that sells only SQ and GE. The sales person was really talking up and promoting the GE® 4.2 cu. ft. Capacity Washer with Stainless Steel Basket. #GTW525ACPWB….saying it was comparable to the SQ TC5. Both carries a 5 year warranty too. The GE is 879.00. I did not give any indication that the price point was an issue….just have my age and what I was looking for in a long lasting washer. Why would a salesperson talk up a cheaper GE over SQ TC5?
Perhaps a bigger profit margin?? I donno.
What about a medium capacity washer? What’s the best?
