You’re so real for that
Lol 😂
Wow. That sounds pretty crazy. A little "off the hook" some might say.
Fellow Splatoon fan spotted!
HELPPPPP
A popular girl showing interest and thinking she's making fun of you is so real and I appreciate this painful representation
I WAS JUST ABOUT TO SAY THAT it's honestly really cool to think about later on when you realize that they weren't being rude and had genuine interest
Not in my school. Not for me. Most girls for some reason like me
Problem was the all other boys. In school.
Iwas bully a lot 😂
For real dawg
I identify as well.
I remember telling somebody who was asking me about gardening club to stop patronising me and then she looked genuinely hurt…. Although then she started joking with her boyfriend about me being her girlfriend sooooo….. again, still cannot tell if she was serious or not.
As a Bassist myself, I genuinely appreciate the little part in video supporting the Bass. We don't really ever get much attention, unless we're the lead instrument or something like that. So seeing you go out of your way to cheer on that Bassist really warmed my heart. And if you were wondering, you cheering him on was probably the highlight of the concert for him.
Great video as always! And thank you again!
I was literally in a little break in my bass practice session when I saw that clip, and got so happy lmao
As a drummer I can say we appreciate you and bassists
We appreciate you guys ❤ -trumpeter
THE GLOWSTICK ARM PAIN IS SO REAL OMG. I was at MikuEXPO in Newark and I was constantly switching arms I legit did not put down one of my arms the entire show holy fart. It’s so hype!!
I also went to the Newark show and my wrists were sore the next day 😭😭 (it did not help that I passed out stickers beforehand so I constantly had my arms stretched out)
Went to the Newark show as well. My wrists hurt so badly the next day😭😭😭
I wanted to go to Vancouver but I had school the day after so I couldnt

everyone taking about the topic of the video relating to Jaiden, and here I am just being stunned at the marked increase in the animation quality. SOOOOO much energy, so many more dynamic shots with more complex cuts and composition. Jaiden and her team went REALLY hard for this episode.
“We have to make room for the 4 hour long video essay for freddy faz bear” had me dying💀

My dad used to play bass in a band, it’s really cool that you gave the bass player attention. They really don’t get that much
Thank you for including so many of my songs in your playlists, and for the inspiring videos!
I hope Hatsune Miku's songs will continue to be a source of energy for you to live your daily lives.

woah!!!
I once heard bass described as "you don't hear it until its not there" pretty accurate.
as a bass player, yes. it just fills out that low space well. and it's got that groove!
Metal feels very hollow and not as heavy when there's no bass fr
it's like a fridge noise
… And Justice for All still sounds incomplete to me, specifically because of that missing bass
Same thing with clarinet
The only music I actively listen to are Friday Night Funkin' OSTs, and I always felt embarrassed whenever anyone asked what music I like. This made me feel a bit more proud of that, thanks, Jaiden!
If one thing is for certain, someone out there is definitely gonna make an indie animated series about Hatsune Miku and she and the other vocaloids are gonna be the main characters
I want that so bad now.
It sounds super crazy but that is the idea that a group of Spanish friends and I have. We are a small group of animators with the same idea of having an independent animation studio, indie? Honestly, we don't even know what we want but we are about to enter university and what you just mentioned is what we sometimes suggest doing as our first project. But the fear that someone will sue us in some way stops us a lot. JAJAJAJA 😭
@@Im.m3chiiif you can come up with some original characters or even look at whatever is public domain, I’m sure you could find something that won’t end in a lawsuit.

oh i noticed that immediately and was like *YES*
OMG! YOU GUYS ALSO NOTICED IT!! YOU'RE AMAZING!!!
also that one still of miku referencing a still from The Disappearance of Hatsune Miku is insane too.
I was expecting “every house needs a Miku” to end with “room” and I was still fully on-board

Absolutely adored this video! The animation was lovely as ever, the subject was great, the story well-told, and I just adored little things like the intro with "What kind of music do you listen to" and the nod to the bassist. Thanks for sharing this awesomeness with us! :D

Being an adult is just going back and liking all the weird stuff you liked as a middle school kid but being less ashamed of it now. I'm so glad that you got to rediscover something that makes you happy, its always such a great feeling! :)
It goes the other way, realizing how silly the stuff you liked as a kid really was.
@@neatoburrito9013Nah, at least not everything. To admit, I won't start collecting snails again when it rains outside, but painting, drawing with chalk on the street or playing cards and old games is still a banger
as a teen now, its gotten a lot better. Theres this kid at my school that coming in anime cosplay every single day. Hes awesome. I like talking about my interests with my theater club mates. Im actually doing a fandom swap with a friend where im going to read some SCP stuff and he'll read some marvel fanfics. With the acceptance of queer people came the acceptance of other nerdy stuff. Tons of people wear awesome punk clothing and have funky hair or make up. Its a norm to have a spiderman or bluey backpack. Its really great seeing all the different styles, not to mention all the body positive stuff.
@@Alexander_Luv1 that sounds amazing. Keep those moments good in memory and hopefully you'll be able to keep the contact as well. Cosplay is awesome, in general having contact with people who enjoy the same stuff as you
@Alexander_Luv1 your school sounds amazing.
In my school, people got pissed off cause i looked at them. For like half a second. They'd ruin my life if i was actually myself at school.
I love how for a second, when Jaiden was talking about her college days, the artstyle changed for a sec to mimic her old style from when she was actually in college!
WOW! How did you notice that?
I'm glad I'm not the only one who noticed that! It was a nice throwback fr.
Metal music has been a part of my life forever, My first concert was when I was like 2 and some of my favorite memories are in dingy pits and big festivals. It’s awesome to see other people fall in love with music, can’t wait to hear about the next genre you get into 🔥
"My world was changing... and it was all hers" is actually such a great reference omg
As someone who loves music with all her heart: the question "what kind of music do you listen to?" is the bane of my existence.

ME TOO! And I don't really feel comfortable saying "Oh, I want to be a musician and I just love all music" or something, because there are very specific genres I _don't_ love, like non-melodic rap.
I hear this all the time. I find "What have you been listening to lately?" to be a much better substitute.
So what do you not listen to?
It’s not just Miku, but the feeling that you’re finally with people who get it. It’s a beautiful human bonding experience that makes anyone emotional
On a The Rose concert the girls around us where so nice, we shared snacks and water and someone printed the color scheme for each song so everyone followed, it was a magical place.. it felt like that first summer of Pokemon Go where world peace was achived

I went to a Shinedown (an American rock band) concert a few years back and still relive that moment in my head. Especially when I hear certain songs, I get the chill down my spine and the excitement of being in the crowd and all enjoying the music together. No matter the music genre, band, or even if they are a living person or not, that feeling is amazing! It's something that I want to feel again, and it's indescribable.
"Random group called 'Fall Out Boy' " is such a wild thing for me to hear. But I def want to hit up a Miku show now! This video was sick!!!

I noticed that too! Nice touch, Jaiden.
also,
fall out boy or something? FALL OUT BOY OR SOMETHING?
(I know she was joking)
someone NEEDS to tell jaiden about the project diva games, theyre rhythm games with miku and her songs in it, and in the older games (AKA not megamix or future tone) you can hang out with the vocaloids in their rooms, give them presents, pat them on the head (i think that one started in project diva F?) etc., and on top of that you can make your own music videos with the models and see other people’s MVs too!!!
dont even get me started on the spinoff project mirai on the 3ds, a miku rhythm game with optional touchscreen controls where you can give your vocaloid food and money and furniture like ur own virtual pet?? i think its right up her alley!!!
EDIT: i forgot project sekai/colorful stage exists too, its a free mobile game with a bunch of human characters in bands along with the vocaloids, i haven’t played it but that game seems fun too!!
I love project sekai (my profile picture is a proseka character) is really fun and the story is great.

Jaiden, after watching this video and going to your Playlist you have made me a Hatsune miku fan
Never knew music conversations could be so violent... I learned something, thank you for sharing! And love your work really!
My favorite Hatsune Miku related story is the time I was looking at a miku figure at a con and a hatsune miku cosplay came up to me, put their hand and my shoulder, and then told me "that miku figure is a b tier. Its not very good and super over priced. You only want that for about 15-20 dollars." Then they told me about how they only get certain figure for a certain price because they research what their worth. Where ever you are hatsune miku cosplayer, you are my hero!
That was hatsune miku herself😊
@@mothknight7050 honestly probably
WHO ASKED + SHUT THE HELL UP BRO ITS HATSUNE MIKU

@@NICEUTTP uh what
i feel you with the dreaded “what kind of music do you like” question-listening to my liked songs on spotify is absolute whiplash bc i don’t have a specific genre i like, i just save everything that i think is a banger-so you’ll get an old song from 2012 and then the opening theme from the fnaf movie right after
Nah fr I'll have some song from like Arctic Monkeys and then get an undertale ost song
I feel this except I don’t even save the music…at best I make a new pandora station and yeet it to the shuffle
…and I’m a musician!!
Listen. (hah.) I like performing music, and playing music. Listening…uh…notsomuch. Not to the extent Everyone Else Does. It’s not that I don’t appreciate a good live or studio performance but…people who actually collect music and listen as a hobby vs to have pleasant background sound just…kinda baffle me.
I feel that, I could be jamming to my playlist, where is the nice, calming piano of Beneath the Mask from Persona 5 (the evening song in the overworld)… and then immediately into Silhouette of Catastrophe from Genshin (the Abyss Whale boss fight), then back to Oh It’s You from A Hat in Time (Snatcher’s theme after you fall into his trap to make u sign a contract) & then it’s Death Approaches from Honkai Star Rail (Blade’s trailer theme)
Some of the greatest songs I listen to are from I expected you to die opening song is great and the game is great
wym old song from 2012???
Every since I watched that short a couple months back of yours with the fan asking what music you could recommend, I think it planted something.
Just about a day after I watched this video, I was browsing my Steam library trying to find a game to play and remembered I had Project Diva: Mega Mix+ that was gifted to me after I put it in my wishlist after that shorts video cause I thought, "Why not?" So I said "Why not give this another shot?" after not fully getting it the first time...I PLAYED FOR THREE HOURS.
And after never really understanding Miku and the other Vocaloids and honestly avoiding them for YEARS, I now have two figures sitting on my desk (Catch the Wave and Leo/Need Miku) and a shirt on the way and at 26 years old, I am head first in my Hatsune Miku phase.
I blame you, but thank you. I wish I would have gotten into the fandom sooner.
It was "Systematic Love" and "Leia" that got me hooked.
I got permanent goosebumps from the moment on Jaiden finally found out how it feels to enjoy music that much. The Pokemon Mystery Dungeon music playing during that part gave me the chills. I really loved this video as all others. It is always such a relatable emotional rollercoaster.

I'm a huge music lover and I also hate the "What music do you listen to" question, because I never have any idea how to answer it and always think of a better answer afterwards 😭
Same. I'm firmly convinced that that question only works for people who listen specifically to one of the broad and easily recognizable genres. Whether you don't have a favorite because you don't really listen to music or because you listen to three different genres and four weird categories that defy genres but are somehow etched in your soul, the question can't be answered.
One of my worst carpooling experiences was when it was my turn to pick the music for the ride and I spent forever scrutinizing the horrible gremlin amalgamations that are my spotify playlists before deciding that "game soundtracks" probably was normal enough.

I don't want them to like violin or piano, I don't want them to like the artists I also like. I👏🏼want👏🏼them👏🏼to like👏🏼MUSIC👏🏼. Through whatever outlet they can. I want them to enjoy whatever organized wiggly air they encounter and understand how important and wonderful music is in our lives. Hearing you say how you weren't too into it in the beginning, then developing into the "I get it now" feeling you experienced at the concert made me very happy. Because that's what I hope my students and anyone experiences as well. Also I loved your shout-out to bass players, very wholesome.
you're healing this world for this
thank you Sweaty9263
I wish that had been my experience learning music - being given the opportunity to find out what my music was, as opposed to just "and now for grade 5, you can choose between these three arbitrary classical pieces." Music education I think suffers from the same problem as English studies, which is that the people who design curriculae are obsessed with the socially acceptable historical greats - your Shakespeares and your Mozarts. And so every kid gets taught pretty much exclusively these people's works, even though in real-taste terms they're very niche and not relevant at all to modern audiences until you already know enough about the subject to understand what makes them good.
Sweaty9263, i’m glad i’m your first subscriber because your speaking so many facts
ORGANIZED WIGGLY AIR I LOVE IT
Honestly thank you for what you do.
My choir teacher DEGRADED her students to the point that anyone NOT her favorite DROPPED. OUT. She treated us to ‘a professional work environment'. She also ruled musicals with an iron fist. My dad had seizures when I was growing up and had a head injury that he had an appointment for during my practice. (My teacher would be apoplectic if you tried to skip for A N Y reason.) I told her I had to leave and when we came back my dad wanted to apologize for taking me away and wanted to explain. I didn't want him to hear my choir teacher but he came in anyways. She was SCREAMING at the students that I shouldn't have left, that no one else can leave, not for work, not for homework, no one else could leave until they had gotten it PERFECT. My dad was pissed. He ripped into her (which she deserved) and she never did it again while I was in school. I still never really sung much after as I thought I sounded horrible, but now I do sound horrible ✌🏻
Jaiden talking about the bass player was amazing. As a bass player myself, it's hard to stick out when there's so much happening around you. It sincerely brought a tear to my eye 😭 thank you so much
To be fair, she plays piano so I think she has a good ear and understanding of the bass
The first song I remember hearing of Hatsune Miku was Last Night, Good Night. That was a nice one, the intro always gets me.
Using sky tower theme while you were talking about her coming on stage almost brought me to tears 😂
Relatable, I also get stressed out when people ask me what I'm listening to, I don't dare tell them it's the fucking splatoon ost.
i so wish it was on spotify, i downloaded soundcloud just to listen to splatoon songs. doesn't help with feeling like im hiding the fact that i listen to it from people since it's on a completely separate app from my regular music
there is a surprising number (2) of splatoon fans i’ve seen in the comments so far and i’m all for it
Kalamari Inkantation goes hard. No need to feel ashamed
This perfectly describes how my hyper fixation with planes works except "planes" is replaced with "Hatsune Miku" and "airshows" is replaced with "concerts"

CAUTION ALERT MISSILE MISSILE MISSILE PULL UP BINGO
@@thesoftwarenerd9055 The missile knows where it is at all times. It knows this because it knows where it isn't. By subtracting where it is from where it isn't, or where it isn't from where it is (whichever is greater), it obtains a difference, or deviation. The guidance subsystem uses deviations to generate corrective commands to drive the missile from a position where it is to a position where it isn't, and arriving at a position where it wasn't, it now is. Consequently, the position where it is, is now the position that it wasn't, and it follows that the position that it was, is now the position that it isn't.
In the event that the position that it is in is not the position that it wasn't, the system has acquired a variation, the variation being the difference between where the missile is, and where it wasn't. If variation is considered to be a significant factor, it too may be corrected by the GEA. However, the missile must also know where it was.
The missile guidance computer scenario works as follows. Because a variation has modified some of the information the missile has obtained, it is not sure just where it is. However, it is sure where it isn't, within reason, and it knows where it was. It now subtracts where it should be from where it wasn't, or vice-versa, and by differentiating this from the algebraic sum of where it shouldn't be, and where it was, it is able to obtain the deviation and its variation, which is called error.
GO UP *weeoo weeoo* GO UP
@@RyzawaVTI have never been so confused whilst reading something lol.
Thanks for the missile information though :D
Oh I'm so excited while watching this video, I also love vocaloid but have never been to a Miku concert! I'm also that kind of child whose interest is always a niche. And it was even before I saw this video that I found Jaiden's playlist be recommended to me on Spotify! And then I saw my lovest producer, Kikuo tweet that he thanked Jaiden for containing so many his songs in list, and I found there's something special about this video! I don't know why, I really don't know why, at the very first place I saw Jaiden is in a video multiple game youtuber playing a game, and I literally don't know why but that is only Jaiden within a bunch of players that caught my eyes! And in the first place when I listened to Kikuo, I didn't know what's going on and didn't quite get into it but I just genuinely knew that I WOULD love this producer and I do! Just after kept hearing his songs for a few weeks while I didn't heartfelt catch them, I found he is one of that most rear types of producer every work resonates so deeply with me that I even couldn't oncely understand why I like him in the first place.
And maybe seems off topic to talk about Kikuo all the way under Jaiden's video, but what I want to express is that I feel so moved that even I'm often the one who is out of place in around peers, it is so miracle that it is still possible for me to find so subtle resonating, I'm out of word... When I turned to listen Jaiden's playlist, in a trance I confused is that is this playlist made by myself and I forgot? When I was watching this video I even kept feel that oh my it's too touching for me to keep watching without pause, like, if I don't go away and cool down I don't know what will happen like that... Can you imagine that feeling when a niche child who seldom if not never felt engaged with others found so resonating works? Oh my I just can't...
This video has inspired me to not be as scared to be a miku fan!! I'm kinda new so learning about how people feel about miku is super interesting!!!!
Jaden the bit at the start about not listening to music and tweaking out whenever anybody asks is so relatable... and I'm a musician myself so that makes it even more akward. "You don't listen to anything? But you make music!"
Pain.
that sucks
That was exactly me up until about age 15. In multiple orchestras, but not a music fan. Then when I discovered vocaloid, I became a music fan and stopped being a musician, because I was suddenly presented with the fact that the music I value is completely disconnected from the music I was able to play. Trying to get back into it now though, downloaded Miku's V4 voice bank and going to learn how to use it this weekend.
If you ask me what kind of music I listen to, my brain will eject knowledge of every song I've ever heard. I'll even be struggling to remember the tune of "Pop Goes The Weasel".
@@yurisei6732 That's awesome! Good luck with getting into playing music again! Focus on whatever brings you joy!! (✿^‿^)
@@SkibiditoiIetyesyes_UTTPyou have only one video you cant say anything
As a rhythm game player hearing Jaiden say "I wonder if there are any good vocaloid charts" sent a shiver down my spine and the sound of war fading in from hours and hours, and HOURS OF FINGER PAIN TO NEAR BREAKING TO CLEAR ONE SONG ON HARD ALONE-
Me: "Yeah there's some pretty good ones"
disappearance of hatsune miku ptsd
2D Dream Fever
intense voice of hatsune miku ptsd
surprised No One mentioned AMÅRA. that one was fun (i have chronic wrist pain)
WHO ASKED + FGTEEV IS THE BEST + JAIDEN IS THE WORST
Had this weird dream some time ago about me being obsessed with Hatsune Miku, like I was OBSESSED. I had a HUGE collection of figures and my room was colored all in Miku blue and even my family knew about it, until somehow my dream shifted over to Undertale like if it never happened lmao
During the miku concert:
50% Enjoying it
50% Becoming a pressure cleaner
Jaiden what have you done to me, I've spent the last 48 hours disappearing down the Vocaloid rabbit hole.
Speaking of Rabbit Hole, absolute banger.
one of us one of us
🐰🕳️
Enjoy, you’re gonna be here awhile (I haven’t left it in 3 years)
ONE OF US
I don't listen to vocaloid but after hearing rabbit hole for the first time, yesterday, and then proceding to listen to it again for like 40 times, I can also agree it's an absolute banger
when I saw Jaiden made a Miku video, I stopped what I was doing grabbed my friends (who also stopped what they were doing) and we all watched it together hugging our Miku merch.
Well, you were actually right about your school homework ish thing because you know it too, if some people just hate themself music makes them just to feel the euphoria and those hating one starts to respect or love themself. And Hatsune Miku just does that. Lots of people from the world listens her and she just make people feel how being together feels like I guess. As someone who loves Hatsune Miku like you I feel that even I'm 12 and I'm sure many people feels that too.
Edit: I have only watched magical mirai 2023 from internet and I can say that even if you're not there you feel it and it just felt so good for me
When I was younger I was ashamed to love vocaloid because people said it was weird and that it wasn't real music.
But now that I am an adult, I really love the years I spent enjoying vocaloid and I keep doing it without being ashamed. I really love vocaloid. I' m happy to see someone so passionate about Hatsune Miku
Same here, My mom always talked to me about her music, but when I tried talking to her about MY music, she'd always say, "Oh, that's not real talent. People spend so much time voice training and yadayada" And she doesn't even think about the amount of talent it takes to tune Vocaloids.
@@Froggard_Fazfrog Yeah! I absolutely understand that! I was told the same but now I don't care whatever people say about it.
Those who judge others' taste are the ones who should be ashamed
No matter how much time has passed, Hatsune Miku is the first virtual idol that has made a memorable impression on everyone, and that has never changed, she is a legend
Yes
It's been, like, 17 years since her debut and she's bigger than ever. Kinda proud as an old ass vocaloid fan.
@@SkibiditoiIetyesyes_UTTP SHUT UP NO ONE ASKED, I WISH YOU DIDNT EXIS, JUST SHUT UP NO ONE CARES, YOU DONT HAVE ANY CONTENT SO YOU CANT SAY MUCH, JUST SHUT UP
I remember seeing and hearing miku in IWBTG mods
Agreed
I haven’t watched Jaden in a long time and just seeing how well the animation improved is quite cool. Amazing stuff.

thank you
SO MUCH
basses need more love
13:05 AAAAAAA THE BASS APPRECIATION HAS BEEN RECEIVED (im a bass player and that little comment from jaiden really made my day :3)
Same fr
THIS ACTUALLY MADE ME SO HAPPY WE NEED MORE BASS APPRECIATION
FINALLY FOUND IT yeeeeeeeeee i was really happy when i saw that as well. Bass really is under appreciated
Bass is so cool to me and I would actually like to learn it too, I also loved the little shrine of fictional bass characters (I recognized Scott and Marceline immediately, but who's the other girl?)
Honestly, I've never been into vocaloid stuff, but as an autistic viewer I was legit holding back tears hearing her talk about holding back her own tears. The feeling of fully expressing your love for a special interest and having the opportunity to be surrounded by fans of that same thing at an EVENT about that thing? There's nothing like it. Guys, it's never too late to let yourself love unironically and shamelessly.
Brother/Sister, you don't even know. Been to many one too many shows and it's nothing ever like it. Bouncing up & down seeing your idols perform in front of you with others is heaven on earth.
Hell yeah
IDK IF I'M AUTISTIC OR NOT (I've wondered) BUT I CANNOT EXPRESS HOW MUCH I RELATE 😭😭 I was low-key holding in tears as well 🥹😅
Although, I have been to a single 'special interest' concert and it was - ugh, idk, I Loved it!! It was so fun, it was surreal, it was my first official "concert"... nothing can compare to this feeling.
i think i'm autistic (haven't gotten tested yet) and i think this is why i like concerts so much?
as an audhd viewer with the exact same hyperfixation rn: AAAAAAAAAANAHHAHAJAJKSKAK,LISHGWNSJKAHJSHJHKSHISISH
its amazing. its so amazing. theres just no other way to explain it.
hearing jaiden describe it, showing her art, it made me tear up too. reminds me of the melanie martinez concert my mom got me birthday tickets to, it was absolutely amazing.
THE WAY YOU BROUGHT BACK YOUR OLD COLLEGE ART STYLE WAS SO COOL FOR THISE FEW SECONDS
I just got obsessed with her music❤❤❤ your the best youtuber ever to exist.❤
