@@dachel683 There were aspects of it I liked the black hole thing that chased you, the World was Huge, a lot of exploring. But it was not scary, all the monsters were right there, in front of you & they all had to announce their attacks at you. I lost interest within 5hrs of playing the game. @@Mihagan oh right! I rigged models using 'auto rig pro' for blender. It's a paid add-on, but absolutely worth it. Best of all, you can use mocap data from mixamo. I did this for pyramid head running down the hallway. Most of James' animation came from recording my hand and head movements in a Vive headset. You can do this with a program called 'glycon'. Turns your VR movements into a bipedal skeleton you can then use as mocap data in blender. Needs to be cleaned up, but worked great!

Please make this happen! As long as you're not selling anything, you can have a team of developers. Adding game functionality wouldn't be that hard, and many of the places and models from the original game already look great in VR.

hey i just found your channel! great work with sh assets! Did you use Eevee or cycles? How was made the tunnel logo part? How did you imitate vr camera movement (first person)? Nice work with lamp illumination btw
Apart from James looking in the mirror - all Eevee. For the tunnel I modelled a small section of an elevator shaft and added the array modifier. Then I shove loads of rusty beams through that tunnel. I recorded my movements using a Vive headset, so all the movements are VR accurate!
I still look at this and we want mooorrreee! Konami isn't going to do jack shit about these games (all he cares about are which pachinko machines are making him money) so maybe it's time the true fans take over.
