I am gonna tell my mom and surprise her because we have leftover rice and a lot of rice goes to waste this is a very great way to reuse rice THANKS SO MUCH!
Not the way it was INTENDED? But this video completely SAVED a ruined rice casserole dinner thanks to me remembering it. You are a hero and made the night tons of fun. Thank you!
Chinese from Southern province like GuangDong use leftover rice to make Cha Kueh and steamed rice cake in small cups called Chew Kueh. In Malaysia, we still stick to that old recipe passed down from generation to generation. Leftover rice is also used in making yam kueh and raddish kueh.
Old rice is best for making Vadagam (rice crisps) . Indian grandmas pass this recipes secretly , cuz small amount of something in a vadagam can make it whole different flavours
In indonesia it called gemblong..that tine rice cake cover with melted brown sugar until hard outside. You can find crispy outside and soft inside..yumyyy
Looks yummy. What you made is dduk(meaning rice cake) and it is even better if you use sushi rice in a blender or mortar and pestle to make dduk(force and agitation using mortar and pestle is similar to the traditional way to make it. I personally like to stir fry kimchi to eat with dduk. Hope you try it sometime. Thanks for the video!
Asian people do this with sticky rice and it’s delicious! We don’t use leftover rice, we purposely make fresh rice just for this. Sometimes instead of shallow fried with salt, we pan fry it without the oil and then dip it in honey while it’s still hot and gooey in the middle and it’s the best!
Bro made me blush outta nowhere

"gluten in the rice" hahahahhaha
There is glutinous rice
Yeah
@@hannahhojraj4211 glutinous ≠ gluten. Rice does not contain gluten.
It caught my ears immediately
Gloo- what👀😜❓
that "kinda like you" made me subscribe you in instant lol ehe
Love this recipe! Thank you!
careful not to confuse the terms. glutinous is not the same as containing gluten. the differences are important to speak on.
RECIPE FOR THE CREAMY SAUCE PLZ ????

There's no gluten in rice, you must mean the starch.
