Yvonne, that cream colored scale has a face on top. Look at it. You, as always, found some wonderful yummies. Chris, the Teddy Bear, did really well with his finds. I watch a lady from Delaware, and if I remember it right, she had that tee shirt. At least someone I watch has it because we had a kick out of the wording. Love it, prefect for you. 😊❤
We had those little elves at Christmas when I was growing up. My Mom called them Pixie Elves. She would put them on the tree each year. Lots of great stuff.
Great finds thrifting and at the auction. I believe the elf and angel that were in the cellophane sleeves are Christmas tree toppers. The ironstone chamber pots often had lids as they were used to mask any odors until it was emptied. Just an FYI, magic erasers are great for removing coffee stains from cups. Looking forward to your next video.😊
Love the blue cups and the red and green bowls have my heart ♥️ but you said they were going in your booth!! Hope you are feeling well! You are in my prayers!!
You n Chris manage to find some wonderful items. I thought Chris did very well. I love old tools. On that scale, I think that’s the original color. I’ve seen this kind before not same color though. If you look closely you’ll see there’s no green where the cream color is chipped off. It’s really nice looking. I like it. ♥️♥️♥️😊👍👍👍🌟 PS. I collect frogs in memory of our oldest son. He loved frogs as a kid. Frogs n Toads was his thing. 🥰
Yvonne, I have to agree with you about checking out small little towns that don't really get a lot of traffic perse. My daughter and I took a little road trip yesterday(Sat.) to a little town about an hour away that we never go to, just to check out their antique and thrift store. Sadly the thrift store was closed, but the 2 little antique stores were open😁, and I found 2 chunky white ironstone butter pats, AND they were $1.95 each !!!!! After I found the first 2, I scoured that store to see if I could find any more but I didn't. I don't think I've been that excited in a LONG time !!!!!💕
3:24 saw one of those old lunch boxes at a Goodwill yesterday. 4:02 love the vintage metal chairs! ❤ 32:53 the elves are cute for newer ones. I love the true vintage Elf on a Shelf. 😊
I had a set of those owl glasses back in the day. I still have my frog sponge holder and my grandpa's blue tea cup just like the two you got. Lot of memories!😊
Yummy goodies! I love the scale, wood goose and more. I knew you would buy those clocks, I just knew it:) Another successful auction day and, thrifting. I think Chris did pretty good also. Well guy's just waiting on the next one. God Bless. Hugs, Rebekah
*Yvonne, you and Chris found some really nice things. 😊 NICE TOOLS, CHRIS...especially the Stanley planers. Not sure why, but I have always loved the way those tools look, especially if the knobs and wooden parts are a pretty brown stain. 🤎* *Yes, the Hoosier Coffee Jar is HUGE, UNUSUAL and HIGHLY SOUGHT AFTER❣️😉 The blue Fire King Coffee Mugs are rare; I would put a plant, succulent or cactus 🌵 in the chipped mug and add a tiny blue and white "mushroom bird" 🐦 and maybe even a little faux mushroom. 😄* *Yvonne, since you like clocks as I do, and like Susan from The Old So N So UA-cam Channel does, you may enjoy watching a recent video DIY she did. She was at an Antique Store and they had the front frames of old metal shelf clocks (that still stood on their bases), but nothing else - no backs, no innards - and she took old Victorian cabinet card photos and traced the photos into circles that would fit into the clocks AND TURNED THEM INTO PICTURE FRAMES❣️ They were SO CUTE‼️🥰 I also thought Silhouettes would look great in old clock ⏰️ faces turned into picture frames. 🖤 When I saw her idea, I immediately thought of you and how you might enjoy that in your own decor. 🤍🖤⏰️ I also thought it might be something you could sell in your booth. Hope you enjoy her video as much as I did...she is a hoot, and I love her charming, gleeful giggle❣️🤣❤*
to remove coffee stains from fire king pieses -- a little bleach watered down and let it soak. Works like a charm. Of course a good soap and water bath afterwords to remove any left over bleach. Love all your finds.
Hi, Yvonne. Glad to see you out and about. The elves are called knee bender elves. The girls on Shinny Brite Doggo are very knowledgeable. They collect old Christmas. Also, use google lens to find out about items. God bless!!
Nice haul 😊 You two are so cute together ! Chris seems to be much more relaxed doing his video part😊 I've always had Verizon for phone service and it seems to work everywhere ! 😊❤
I hear our local Indiana TV station mention Constantine occasionally, but never been there, I don’t believe. It’s about an hour and a half away from me. Love the red and white kitchen stuff! Lots of fun pieces there! I’m guessing that the scale was painted green underneath at the factory. I just recently purchased one that’s painted green underneath too, but the rest of it is another color. I’d go check, but I hurt my back and struggling to get around, but I think the scale is all black otherwise. It’s clearly painted that way from the factory. I bet yours was too. I was so hoping you’d get the shiny brite box lot. Those were nice. My hubby looks at the vintage tools too. He bought a particular brand of hammer yesterday at an estate sale for his collection. I’m going to try to get around today to go back for the 50% off stuff. He gave me a list for me to try to get if they’re left.
I really hope Chris can make this his full time job soon! He's come a long way from being just strong and silent in the background🤣🤣🤣 Yvonne you could use that old coffee to tint paper! Those chalkware parrots are wonderful.
Clorox will get the stains from those coffee cups. I have one I use for my morning coffee, and it gets stained. I wish you would tell us the price of the ironstone you find, I have a few pieces but I don’t know how to price it.
@@michellebisesi4498”bendy elves” are how they’re described on sites like Amazon as part of their description. The VINTAGE elves were Elf on a Shelf”. I grew up with these & had quite a few. Yes, I’m vintage not old. 😉❤️

I am old enough to remember a lot of your tools Chris. Amazing that they are vintage now. Guess I am too 😂 Givonne we had those clocks too. 😂
Curved scissors are for dog grooming. Getting around curved parts of the animals.
Sheep too.
My husband’s family was part of the McCoy Pottery from way back. We love collecting it.
That’s awesome

We had a green bendy elf. Way before elf on a shelf!
Love the blue cups and the red and green bowls have my heart ♥️ but you said they were going in your booth!! Hope you are feeling well! You are in my prayers!!
The star bowls went on eBay. Still undecided on what to do with the cups. So they are just hanging out in my inventory.
Did the green bowl sell?

See those little towns are worth it. Great score! Those are hard to find .
Oh I have to marinate on the coffee canister!!!!! ❤ I laughed about “not that old, from the 90’s…..” how we show our age without showing our age 😂
Right?!
Make a planter out of the chipped cup.😮

Cost averaging is the way of life in reselling❤
The green deer planter/light is a vintage TV lamp from the 60s.
I just saw one of those at Goodwill this weekend.
Oh wow, you picked up some wonderful things. I love seeing what you get at different venues. Looking forward to some diys!
My parents called the "toilet mug" a Thunder Mug 😅 The frog with the big mouth used to be used for a scrubby holder by the kitchen sink.
I love y’all showing your treasures. So fun, and good sports. Thanks for sharing. 💚 Cindy in NC

Picking is for sure getting harder. But you found some goodies. Love the knee huggers are a great score.
Great finds!🎉❤
That looks like a vanity that you drape the ruffled fabric on to cover up the wood. I made one years ago for my daughter.
Giggling, I received that set of three Pyrex pieces as a wedding gift in 1980.
I love the yellow pyrex.😊
I enjoyed going shopping with you. Great finds.
I love it when you and Chris go shopping at auctions it so neat all the stuff you find thank you for sharing all the goodie’s you got ❤️😊

I was 4 years old when that newspaper came out
Great stuff
My grandma had the wide mouth frog on her sink for as long as I can remember. She kept her plastic round sponge in it for dishes. Takes me back ☺️
The green legged table was a vanity table. Used in a gals bedroom. With the cut out for legs to sit at
The planes I want are the ones that fly!

Love it all and the Coffee Canister!
I want to have your job! 😂 You sound like you are still congested. Wishing you positive vibes and well wishes❤
Very cute birthday spread❤

That terminology of elf on a shelf is new. Those elves were around long before this came to pass.
*Yes, sometimes different terminology for things, depending upon where in the USA you live. In Minnesota, we call them "knee hugger elves". 😉*
