When I saw the sewing Bo, my heart melted. It was what my mother had and I have been on the hunt for years. At least I know they are still out there for me to find
Yvonne and Chris, love the way you collaborate. Your relationship is based on respect. So beautiful to see you working together. Thank you for your tutorials. Much appreciated.
Absolutely LOVE that you both preserve history! That cast iron coat hook is absolutely my favorite item, out of all the beautiful things you found! Chris is so fun to watch! ❤
@@GingerChickRehabTheJourney *If you don't find a place for it. I would L🖤VE to buy that cast iron coat rack from you, Yvonne. I already checked ✔️ your eBay yesterday to see if it was listed there. 😁*
Holy moley, even finding bittersweet in an antique store is rare! Super find and great idea to have your son pick up the other 2 to replace the ones that sold. I love them!
😂😂oh my goodness Chris is so helpful and devoted to you hope you appreciate him 🥰. Just love when he’s in you videos 😊. Love all your finds can’t wait for the makeovers. Love from Ireland ☘️
OMG my goodwills ( we have 4 ) plus a few other thrift stores NEVER have good stuff like you saw in this video. I have been doing this for more than 30 years. Used to get some cool stuff but not anymore. It is sad.
I vaguely remember going to the post office & hearing all the peeping from boxes of little chicks waiting for pickup. My grams chicks came in the mail.
Chris, use Foam Coil to clean your tools and such. Dip in and right back out. All the crud will drip right off. My husband retired from Ford and Motor (42 years), anyway I used to have him take my furniture pieces and dip in their tank! Strips it clean. But like I said, in and out! Good to hear you talking and walking us through your side of the journey. Keep it up!
Love the pulleys but no idea what I'd do with them. I'd like the air force truck for my brother who retired from USAF. Swans are so sweet. Lov÷ watching you guys work together.
I have that very coat rack at the end of your video. I painted it white and sanded it back so some of the dark metal shows through. I hang old aprons on it. Love it!
I love scales as well, I wish I lived close to you,I'd love to shop at your space because of you I started collecting iron stone I've only found one and I don't think it's true iron stone, I live in Alabama that might be why or not looking in the right place I find everything else.
Great haul! Swung vases, Halloween heaven, and ironstone! Perfection! I always check your eBay after your hauls! Thanks for sharing! Ps I’d buy the pumpkin as is!😉😁
Chris thank you for showing us how you get your goodies ready for sale . I have my grandpas pulley but it's nothing like the ones you have. I love them for some reason I just can't figure it out Chick I really love those swung vases. You both have awesome booths they look so, so good, classy. God Bless. Hugs, Rebekah
That multi-coat hook thing would look great as a wall hanger for Christmas balls, bells or ornaments hung with pretty cord or ribbons at varying lengths. Mounted with an old cabinet door as a backdrop would also look nice if used for ornament hanging.
I dub Chris, Teddy Bear. There is a younger man at our church that I call Teddy Bear, like Chris, he is 6’4” or 5” and he’s big giant to me,lol. Chris has a more impressive beard. I really enjoy watching him work too. You did find some fantastic things. That sewing box is absolutely beautiful and except for the handle, perfect. The pulleys are very nice. That is one super nice apron Chris has on. Wow, my brothers could have used one of those. Wow another sewing box, love it.
I am obsessed with the pulley's!! I use then as a plant hanger in our backyard. I use rope & old rusty-crusty buckets & place plants hanging off the fence posts, A couple buckets I have solar lights!
I always enjoy your videos, but this one was awesome. When I was younger my best friend and me spent years garage sale hunting. We finally got a booth and had the time of our lives! My husband was our cabana boy while we worked in my garage!
Love all your finds and appreciate Chris showing how to clean the old tools! I want to buy one of the crocks so bad but I know it would be outrageous to ship to FL😢
That fan brings back memories. When I was little I was at my grandmother's house and I stuck my toe in there. It cut me at the nail bed and yes at 65 years old I still have a scar. LOL
You guys are just amazing people I love watching the two of you when you work on projects And of course I’m always talking to you I guess I think we are on FaceTime lol
You are one lucky woman you have yourself a great man I can tell that y’all love each other very much that makes me happy I don’t like to see people breakup 😊
I love old tools and pulleys! I think it is great that Chris cleans them before selling them. I personally do not have all the equipment to clean these…so I definitely do not mind paying more for cleaner items. I love both of your mind sets! So enjoy your channels, keep on sharing!
I have been looking for a swan for ages!! Around me and on EBay are so expensive! I hope to find one someday that I won’t have to sell a kidney to get! You find them and you are my inspiration!!
Great finds! Man, Chris really does great work on those pulleys!❤ Oh, and the wrenches and levels are beautiful! 🎉 What a difference! Oh, I’d love to have the little butter churn!❤ That crock is spectacular!🎉 Great that things are selling!😊 I know you frantically replace, but so great to sell! Thanks for sharing ❤
What a haul, folks! Just great, especially the sewing boxes, Yvonne. Chris, I enjoyed your demonstration so much. I didn’t know you could buy WD40 in liquid. If you don’t mind, where do you buy that? Is the application of WD 40 all that is needed (like a sealer)? Was interesting to watch the pulley restoration, thank you. Enjoyed the video. Thanks
Love watching both you channels. I don’t add comments too often as I. On the treadmill when I’m watching, but today. Though I wld send a couple of observations. 1. When is your workshop collet next to the bathroom? Understand it will mostly be just you and your hubby. BUT 2. Your picture tree, u appear to have one in your stack. When u start on hubby’s stuff I think we c one in a box behind table 3 love love love the sewing boxes. I wld so use those in my craft area. For small tools maybe small pieces. I am going to watch for those at my goodwill. Although t I only go on 50% of days One more thing. Thanks for making me feel better, knowing you also have stuff that we think r great and yet people don’t buy
Great haul, love seeing Chris' way of refurbishing the tools and pullies. Really liked the showing of your booth, and finding out the booth is located 5 hours away without having to go thru Chicago! Probably going to be a week-end trip this Spring or Early Summer. Yea!
Amazing finds! My favorite being the paper mache jack o lanterns. As a halloween collector and in specific halloween groups. If your not keeping them I would not repair other than new inserts. Collectors prefer origonal as is condition. ❤
Wow great video and finds.. I love anything cast iron. But those sewing baskets 😍😍😍 love them they are pricey here in Canada and hard to find too. Wow move over Vanna White l😂 good job Chris! What an exciting video today. I just love seeing what you n Chris find at the auctions. And think you found some great items too. Really like that Chris shared at how to clean up pulling’s n other rusty items. I’ve got a couple old pulling’s n I’ve got the wheel to clean em up but have 2 questions.
