God bless you Yvonne!!! I’ll bet even when he gets to be an old man, when he sees marbles he will think about a lady that bought him some marbles he had really wanted.❤🥰
Wow! Chris looks like a sweet Santa! I love that he’s gotten more comfortable talking, too! Wait until he does this full time! Still praying! He got great finds!🎉 Thank y’all for searching in the wet and cold! I absolutely love the eagles! Oh, the scales are beautiful! Wow! Those binoculars!❤ Cute little chicken toy😂 Thank you for buying those marbles for that boy! He will remember this always!😊 Oh, I love the juicer! Love it all!
YAY CHRIS!!!! Fabulous haul for him! You did great too Yvonne! I spied that plant/candle stand while Chris was showing his tool boxes ❤ I LOVE the Eagles and I wonder if you took the top off the red bench, made it flush you could cut off the section where the vice it at? I would’ve MOST DEFINITELY did the marble thing, but not have been as nice as you with the guys complaint! 😂 oh! The binoculars 😮 GORGEOUS!!!!
It brought such a joy to my heart when you told us of buying the marbles for the little boy!! God places good deeds on our hearts, and you just know that it is HIM reaching out to you! God is soooo good! What a blessing you were for the little boy! ❤Love ,love ,love your haul! Thank you again for bringing me another wonderful start to my day! ❤❤❤God Bless
The nuns at school wore those big rosary beads hanging down from the belts of their habits. If we were acting up and heard rosary beads clacking toward us we shaped up fast. Sometimes if they wanted to catch us in the act, they'd hold their rosary beads so we couldn't hear them coming. Now and then I think maybe kids need to hear some rosary beads heading their way to put some fear in them. Ha.
Wow, Chris did get some treasures…the cold was worth it, eh?! What cool adventures you go on for you never know what you will bring home…and you brought in some nice stuff as well! Regarding the beard, your comment was funny. My husband’s beard is all white and grown out as well and I just love it! Chris shouldn’t be too upset…he rocks his beard!
Great job, Chris! My dad always loved old tools, toy tractors and cars. And any old literature about any of those things. His office always had a musty smell. We lost him several years ago, and I miss that musty smell and his rusty treasures all over the basement. Do what you love, I say!
*Yes, I always went to auctions in inclement weather - because there are usually WAY FEWER people that attend - just the diehards like me and the "regular pickers" (and you and Chris, LOL!) 🤣🤣🤣* *Both of you found wonderful items - and YES, I WOULD HAVE gotten those marbles for that little boy 👦 - how kind and thoughtful of you to give him the black light, too! 😉👏👏👏 And the next time that old curmudgeon tries to distract you, just hold up your palm ✋️ in his face and say, "Oh, please excuse me!" and WALK AWAY FROM HIM so you don't miss items you want to bid on. Isn't he a little stinker, though‼️🙊*
I love the work table, it reminds me of high school lab. LOL and I love the red cabinet! It would rock in my kitchen. On the glowy- there is yellow vaseline glass. Not all of it glows but some does. That's what it looked like to me. Love that you bought the marbles!!!! What an act of kindness. Thanks for sharing! I love your haul!
He did look Santa like, still very handsome. That was so sweet. I would have bought them for him.oh yes, that red cabinet is gorgeous and it would look cool in a kitchen or dining room. He did good getting these work stations. That double tool box is fabulous. I think it would been awesome for craft supplies. Wink wink. Very nice! 😊❤
Great finds. It was really sweet of you to get the marbles for that lil boy. I hope he never forgets. I love hearing your stories. They always bring a smile and a laugh.
I'm with you, I've gotten the best deals by staying to the very end of auctions & a lot of those items that I've purchased at the end of the auction have ended up being the items that I still have, even though they were not what I had come to buy! "God wink moments" indeed!
Yes, very true! It pays to be patient, but standing all day definitely comes at a price, when it takes a day or 2 for your body to recover, reminding you that we're not as young as we think! 😉
Good for you getting those marbles for the little boy. My niece now (40) finds at least one marble every spring when working up her garden and flower beds. She lives in an old farmhouse that was owned by two bachelor brothers. She thinks they are signs from them.
Many of your viewers mentioned the marble story. I teared up. The other part of your generosity , I think, is that the little boy learned patience. After that long day he got his reward for being patient. That is a difficult lesson to learn even for older folks and you contributed to his growth. Love all the rosaries. I was fortunate enough to get several Bibles from my husband's family and am looking for a rosary now, due to your infuence. Thanks, Yvonne, for teaching us.
Yes I would have got the marbles for the little boy also. You never know he may have just started his first collection. Yvonne also follow your heart.❤️
God laid that on your heart ❤️ to get those marbles for that little boy😊 You have such a beautiful heart❤ I love this channel because it is so much fun to see behind the scenes 😅 Chris loves what you guys do so much and I will be happy for you both when he is able to come home full time. And I'm just gonna say it that I don't understand why ALL of your subscribers on the other channel have not just clicked the button to subscribe to this channel. I mean, just out of sheer loyalty and lifting up friends, I do not understand why people have not come over to subscribe But I know that God has you guys and all is well. Love you guys and Godspeed ❤
What a sweet gesture to buy the marbles to gift to the little boy! That tv tube would make a cool head for a small robot, maybe with a vintage tin body. Can’t wait to see what you do with it.
Yvonne, you are so sweet. You made that little boy’s day! I would have totally chosen to help the little boy over the pushy older gentleman ❤ what a great story to start my day! Thank you for sharing! Love you two so much!
Rain never stops me!! I'd have been right there beside y'all. Who said tools are just for the guys? I love looking through old tools!! Sounds like a fun day to me!! Thanks for sharing. That work table, both work table are decent scores!! xx
Love how you & Chris find great things for the studio/workshop that just fit together & serve specific purposes. SO much l3ss than buying or building new...like the air filter (?) System & the double toolboxes & workbenches.
Great haul. My husband would love the tools, oil /gas related items and those 2 tool boxes that sit on the rack with drawers. I would have been sitting in the truck with the heat on, watching one of your great rehab videos!😊
I bet that little boy is a hit on the play ground with his marbles and the light! That was so special, you made his day! I had one of those plant stands with the many arms. Don't know what ever happened to it though. Great haul!

Ohhh... your giant rosery beads are mine now. Thank you! I love Christmas shopping on your channel! AND Chris's tool shelf was a wow Godwink moment! Love it, looks great!

When I was going to auctions I always ran into this man that snatched EVERYTHING I wanted. Everyone always got so upset with him. You got some good stuff worth the cold and rain. Chris you rock the beard! TFS Yvonne and Chris.
I would of stayed at the auction. Sometimes you can get a bargain. Chris’s tool boxes was a beauty. The person who made the wood w/ drawers was a handy guy. It was so cool n even had drawers. That piece was priceless. You did very well yourself. I loved the story of the marbles. I’d call that pay it forward. I knew you have a good heart. Those tree trunk planters were so cool looking. It’s a good thing they didn’t show the mushrooms or someone else would of been the owners. I always love to see all the wonderful items you n Chris find at the auctions. Especially that awesome red cabinet. Definitely could see that in someone’s kitchen (wish it was mine 😅). ♥️♥️♥️😊👍👍👍👍🌟🌟🌟

Wow, I had that brown checked thermos when I was young. Brings back memories, filled with white milk for school lunches.
I wonder if kid’s take lunches to school anymore ?

So glad you did the right thing for the little boy😊 That will impact his life in such a good way!
Those binoculars are the oldest and coolest ones I've seen. Can’t wait to see you work on the red workbench.
They are WWI field binoculars. My dad had a pair. We used them for bird watching. They don't make the lenses like that anymore. Nice find!
They are gorgeous.. I didn’t realize what they were
I’m so glad you bought that little boy the marbles and the light! I did enjoy that story. ❤
Talk about " Be still my heart" when you were relating the story about the little boy and the marbles made a tear come to my eye..good for you!

That’s amazing.. gives them so much more meaning
That cage with a cork in it is a cricket cage for fishing. You put your crickets in the bottom and shake them to the top. My Dad had one.
My Nanna and Poppa had a mantle clock like that. What a great story about the marbles and the little boy😊 . I didn't know kids still played marbles.
So happy you bought those marbles for that little boy!! I'm sure it filled your heart to do that! God bless you!!

Wow great find with the binocular! Auction are so fun you never know what you will find. Bad weather keeps a lot of people from going to auctions.
They look like composite planters
Nice to hear Chris’ narration 😀 He has a good voice and he seems more comfortable in front of the camera 👍
I would love the RED cabinet in my kitchen for a baking station . Oh be still my heart!!
If it was raining prior to going...I would stay home. Glad you went since you and Chris got some interesting things. Thanks for sharing!!

Talking about the marbles and the little boy
Just so you know that I know what I’m talking about, I am a certified appraiser of personal property
