@theabsdude Hi, thank you for your comment ☺️ we appreciate it When we first found out about this, we were shocked that long-term and short rentals are being changed by labour. We have to wait and see what they do... next ...
The whole reason why Air BNB has exploded is because the government has forced landlords to go that route because of the draconian taxes and legislation. This will not solve the rental stock issue. The way to solve it is to stay out of the way, reverse all the measures and taxes and let the free market adjust to where it used to be with competition between landlords.
@user-gz6tx6yp3v A lot of people believe what you just wrote. We completely understand. Yes, airbnb would be taxed the same as a business, which couldhold more benefits.
@Adam-zd2bk I actually agree, but you have to apply the same comment on both sides. As tenants can abuse the new system... we can trust tenants to do the right thing. Unfortunately, I'm looking at the bigger picture.... the issue is not with the Landlords or the tenants but instead with the governments system that is in place!
@@Adam-zd2bk 97% of landlords are classed as good, and it is roughly the same figure for good tenants as well. People, the media, vested interests in general or those with an axe to grind always focus on that very small number of landlords or tenants as somehow the norm for all landlords/tenants and it is simply not true.
The two-people talking, one after the other, doesn't work. It's pointless and distracting. Better have just one presenter,, speaking clearly, making a clear, logical case.
@lawrencer25 It is important to those who have airbnb's in the UK or are thinking about it. If you are not interested in the video, I have not charged you, so you don't have to watch it.
Thank you guys!
@@areenshah1681 Hi Areen, you are welcome. We were shockedbat some changes that labour are making
@@jlpropertychannel9900 It will be interesting to see how these adjustments unfold and what impact they'll have moving forward.

Haha don't kid yourself...because of the cost put on landlords rents will rocket as no landlord is stupid to pay out of his pocket.
@jaybrox1652 If there is limited supply at this moment and more landlords leave. The private rental sector will go up alot more.
You said it....control. To me that's one step to communism aka North Korea.
@@Thereishope664 It is worse when you don't even know it is control. They vet us into a system from when we are young.
