Su-33 doesn't have thrust vectoring. Actually, Su-33 is the heavier naval version of the Su-27, so it is not as good as the Su-27 at BFM. Su-27 has better t/w ratio. Maybe you could try the Su-27 instead of the Su-33. BTW, in DCS, the Tomcat is better than the Flanker at 2-circle, whereas Flanker should be better at 1-circle.
Then how about the pugachev's cobra maneuver?
@@Aleesyathewarplanegirl Flankers can pull cobras without thrust vectoring. Actually, Flankers have a switch button to override the flight control system. I can't see the point in your question.

Tough luck! I don't think though the su-33 has thrust vectoring. It's basically a su-27 with canards. The su-35 sure does

Max, are you using pitch limiter override? It is similar with hornet and mirage. Also you can use military engine power for extra thrust. Those may help a lot!

The Su-33 doesn't have thrust vectoring. There is an Su-30 mod that does, as well as Su-35. There is also a mod that makes the FC3 aircraft cockpits partly clickable.
The Su-33 is basically just the naval variant of the Su-27.

SU-33 has takeoff afterburner, or special afterburner. Use that short term to get your thrusties.
I don't know if you answer these types of questions but I'm so curious to know if you've ever been in a real dogfight. I'm assuming most pilots haven't but I'm probably wrong.

The Su-33 does not have Thrust Vectoring. The Su-30SM and Su-35 do thou.
