Customers of American companies have had their aircraft upgraded with systems to suit their operating environment and mission sets for decades.

Same with their F-15I and F-16I. F-15I more capable than the F-15E. F-16I with conformal fuel tanks. I used to work with the pilot's who delivered some of the F-15Is.
Wrong. The F-16E/F Block 60 as well as the F-16V Block 72 are much more advanced than the F-16I.

@@my-yt-inputs2580 those weren't any better than normal F-16As that had been in service with the USAF. Infact they were actually intended to be delivered to Iran when the revolution stopped the deliveries from taking place.
@@traviswalker8933correct , Isreal and Saudi’s F 15s were all specs made for Iran including the Sufi with the extended fuel tanks on the side was due to the shah asking for extended range on their F 16s enough to go to Syrian shores and back , but then after the revolution they canceled the orders of 300 F 15s and 150 F 16s including the factory production license for the F 16s and F 15s which was also a deal that was abandoned due to the revolution.
@@ARSAMES007 Iran never ordered the F15. They evaluated the F14 and F15 in 1975 and chose the F14. However, Iran did order the F16 to replace its F-5s. The F16 deal was cancelled by the Reagan administration in the US after the attack on the US embassy in Iran.
Situational awareness of a jet like the f35 is invaluable and it also influences other vehicles in battle space.
Israel has a long history of being the first country to get kills in American equipment. This was true with the F-15, whose first kill was not a missile kill but a gun kill. Israelis like their guns. It is widely believed that the first air vector of an f-35 was an f-35i taking down Houthi cruise missiles and drones. The F-35I is lightly currently operating over Lebanon and possibly Southern Syria taking on Hezbollah in an environment where they have to deal with Syria and tracking by Russia. Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps commanders have been killed in their apartments in Syria and Lebanon with no substantial damage or casualties in adjoining apartments. That suggests a short-range weapon with a small warhead, as a long-range weapon would be carrying fuel and set fire to the apartment. Israel might be using a selfie drone, but I think it's more likely that it's been dropping some weapon often F-35i. Likewise, Israel has been taking out Hezbollah missile launchers in Lebanon, often before they can fire. It helps to have a system like this overhead. And finally, Israel has been taking out Iranian and Hezbollah drones and missiles in the north.

Us aid to Israel began at 1973 and was limited to military products exclusively, with the vast majority of them being American made.
There were a few years during the 50’s and late 40’s that America help Israel with technical equipment that was estimated at 50 million dollars (which is nothing at a county scale)

All of the featured "improvements" sound pretty standard for advanced modern fighters like the Rafael and Gripen so I assume the F-35 is similar. Advanced sensors, data processing and networking, as well has EWF suites are central to modern fighters. I am aware that Israel likes to install a lot of their indigenous avionics and has home grown, often U.S. financed weapons.
I would think the US would keep all the most advanced tech for its own fleet and
restrict what other Countries can have.
That's what they have been doing. Israel can very well go against the US one day and the US would want to maintain an edge over it.

@@michaelbartley9572all ballistic missiles are hypersonic. Russia sold a lie that they had some sort of next generation hypersonic missile, but the Kinhzal missile is just an Iskander (basically a upgraded SCUD missile) that is air launched. So they're easy(relatively...) to target and take down.
Now Russia ....might have one of these advanced next gen missiles in their Avengard missile but they're not using them in Ukraine which is highly suspicious.

4++ gen at best. Engines from Eurofighter made under license in Turkey, aircraft design by Saab of Sweden. Electronics are Turkish. Turkey. The Alibaba of rebranding other peoples tech! LOL
@@watcher63034 the design isn't entirely from SAAB. TAI has designed the majority of that aircraft with help from other NATO nations. Also, the engines are the same units used in the F-16, not the Eurofighter and will be used for the development phase. At least do some research before you claim to know all the facts.

Hi Ryan, do you know rhe origin of the NATO naming conventions of the Soviet/Russian warplanes? While the US has cool fighter names such as F-15 Eagle, F-22 Raptor, or F-16 Fighting Falcon, why does NATO gives the Soviet/Russian planes names like Flanker, Flogger, Fishbed, it's obvious the F names are for Fighter planes, but why uncool nicknames? Do you know if the Soviets/Russian at Sukhoi or Mikoyan (MiG) have official names for their planes? Favorite names are Foxbat and Backfire (B for Bomber).

As with most other videos of this kind, there is one aspect that always seems to disappear under the carpet.
I refer of course to your comment that The F35I will be armed with the most up to date missile weapons. Well now, that's not quite strictly true, is it? In actual fact, the F-35 in whatever current form (all around 1 000 of them) are NOT enabled to fire the top long range air-to-air missile! I refer of course to the European Meteor missile. In fact the USAF (or Navy) doesn't even have a long range missile, and have make do with the medium range AMRAAM missile.
There is a possibility that with the Block 4 release F-35s may (in future builds) be able to utilise Meteor. This is STILL not certain, or funded, nor have a timeline attached to it! The possibility of upgrading already delivered F-35s is very much still an open question, that nobody is prepared to commit a solid answer to.
So, we have the super-duper airplane armed with a pretty mediocre missile to go out there and fight the Su57/75s ?
It did not come through in the video, but it would be nice to know if the Israelis have in fact employed a home-grown version of something like the Meteor, other than the I-Derby, which clearly is not in the Meteor class?

But when "They" the People in Lockheed Martin, use even more non metals in it like the Carbon Fiber aso = and so on, they made it even more lighter and then the F 35 A beat the F 16 evey time!/. So, yes, the every F 35 version is not ment as primperly be a Dog Fighter, but it is a Dog Fighter and even better, than the F 15 Cs and F 16 Cs and also every F 35 version can shoot down from a long distance all these versions of the F 15s and F 16s down, yes, in the BWR, because every F 35 (Version) is Stealth Version and lot more Stealthier, than any F 15 or F 16 or even way more stalthier, than any Super Hornet versions!/.
But of course the F 35 C and maybe not the F 35 B either can't beat, or not the F 35 C, the F 15 and F 16 in mock dogfights or in real ones either, because having way too and dragy big wing, that's why and also making It (the F 35 C) more or less more slower, than the F 35 A and B version, because of that bigger wing! But I think and believe more, that the F 35 C can beat the F 15 E, the Strike Eagle in a mock (dog-) fights and in real dog fights, if they ever fight in the seperate sides!/.

Israel has always modified their version of US aircraft. Nothing new there. But the key to all this is the foundation of the F-35i. There would be no Adir if Lockheed and the US didn’t develop the original F-35.
Only Isreal has been given permission to modify the software for the F35.

Israel is effectively at war with Iran and its proxies / allies Hezbollah, Hamas, and the Houthis. It also have to address Russia in Syria, Syria, and potential future threats from Turkey and any of its other neighbors including Egypt, the Saudis etc. It's a rough neighborhood and the enemy of their enemy isn't their friend.
The new SU-57 can supposedly cruise at mach 2.0. If that is true then these F35's are going to get run over.
Even if it is true , they are not sufficient enough numbers to be significant.
They still only have 22 of them in service (the 10 prototypes are excluded).
Makes no difference do you think F35 would be chasing Su-57? No. It will chase it with a Mach 4 missile before the Su57 knows the F35 is even there.
F15 is faster than F22 yet F22 absolutely dominated the F15. 1 F22 best 5 F15 why. It's not the speed it's stealth and situational awareness.

Israel is not advanced as mentioned here. See F-35I is special, because Lockheed Martin & PW allowed Israel to further modify the plane, engine and avionics.
If US would gave similar green light to UK, Netherlands, Japan and Italy, they could modify as well!

The issue with the china balloons is the china microchips that make up 80% of those used by the US millitary. First flights electonics shut down on China overides kicked in. It took a week to tear down and rebuild the 2 F22s to shoot down the balloon. Every china made chip had to be removed and replaced with a clean chip.

I would wager that Israel wanted license to make unique F-35 electronic warfare and datalinking options so that Israel could operate independently of Nato in the case that a US-favored country (like Turkey at the time the F-35 was being developed) would use F-35A against Israel.
