My knee PT is aggravating my hip bursitis, especially resistant band stretches. Suggest I see an osteopath or some other specialist?

if diagnosed with GTPS, Could it cause a pain in the back of the knee? its a runner's knee? thanks

Less likely that GTPS would be the cause of the posterior knee pain… more likely that there is a different mechanism causing this

Great video, but I have a question. Why do you let the patient do the single leg stance test for such a long time when trying to provoke pain? Shouldn't that count as an isometric exercise which actually reduces tendinopathy-related pain? I would expect the pain to be the greatest in the beginning of the exercise and then gradually recede. I'm confused :D

Hi! This is just used as an assessment measure… for example, if they have pain in the Greater Trochanteric region after 5 seconds , and that is enough for me to help with my diagnosis, we can stop the test there and then. If you want to do it as an exercise further down the line then great you can modify it for sure!
