I took my bmw to the dealer for rear brake pads $650. I bought the front brake pads and sensor for $170 and replaced them myself as well as resetting the light. If you can work on your car yourself and have the time, you would save a tone of money on maintenance.
not too keen on Foxwell products. twice i bought a foxwell scanner and neither one would work properly with the 992. i had to return them. im thinking of the Autel MaxiCOM MK808S-TS . i have a 992 and 982.
I thought the disassembly was a farce and would overdramatically include removing the seats and steering wheel just to change the oil. Now I’m dissuaded from 991+.
I used to do that crap... then I bought a Plaid... 1000hp, the best software in automotive history and ZERO maintenance. I thought I would miss the sound, but I don't. I never could understand why people buy Porsches.. they nickel and dime their customers sooooo bad. But I guess everyone has a love.
Porsche tax is real. Parts and service for my F80 were half of what they are for my 991.2.
So true!

That’s how I can afford mine.
If you’re even a little handy, German maintenance doesn’t have to be crazy expensive like everyone thinks it is.
Totally agreed
Hi Tommy, I know you have tune on your car. Doe these diagnostic tools interfere with ecu and pak tunes? Thanks!
Not at all. No interference

Interesting I never had issues with them. Even resetting airbag lights

It’s indeed amazing
Sorry bro, I got a bit distracted starring at all the cool sk8 decks hanging up. What were you talking about again. Lol!
Ha ha, thanks. I’ve been collecting them for many years. Most of them are autographed by my favorite skateboarders.
@TommyLGarage That's awesome man, I spent allot years riding those things myself. Growing up in So Cal there wasn't much else to do but myb surf.
What bidirectional scanner can turn off seatbelt chimes and start stop 🛑 etc
This one :)

It’s not that bad.
Can it program a new battery in a Porsche?
Yes it can

I love the manual transmission
@@TommyLGarage You can get a manual transmission in a Toyota GR Corolla, and Toyota doesn't nickel and dime you like European car companies do. 😘

Sorry, but life is too short to drive a boring car.
@@TheMadmax0609Driving a Toyota is almost as boring as driving a Tesla. 😅 No thanks, not in this life.
Absolute junk!

Porsche = overpriced
And a POS. Honda Accord SPORT is where it’s at.
