The hood alone must have been hours of work. Steaming the engine bay is probably the cleanest way to detail without making more work for yourself. Amazing as always.

40 years old it may be but you can see its been touched... has modern pneumatics for the hood.

Nerta diamond active foam, mixed 50/50 with water, spray everything under the bonnet. Let sit for 5 mins then blast off with a gerni. Spray with Koch Chemie MP Done.
Very nice work. A dry ice cleaner might have saved a lot of time on the hood.

do have any advice how to remove old Cosmoline (the yellowish stuff that is usually sprayed in engine bay)
from what i understand the cosmoline was only applied to cars shipped to the americas as a rust prohibitor while they were on ships. it was supposed to be removed by dealerships on arrival but american BMW dealership owners in the 80s were too coked out of their minds to bother

Hey man, Ive been thinking about starting a detailing business. I wasn't too sure about what products i should start with to clean the interior as well as the exterior. I dont have alot of money starting off maybe between $500 and $600. Would you be able to point me in the right direction on the best soaps and chemicals to use to get the best results for this price range? It would be greatly appreciated! Also I love watching your videos very satisfying and entertaining!
What type of insulation did you use on the bonnet?
Why was dry-ice blasting not chosen for the job?
Video of dry-ice blasting shows use of cleaning chemicals is avoided and commentary on the system is very positive.

By "DIY detail outdoor," I mean showcasing the process of applying ceramic coating and performing paint correction on a vehicle's exterior, along with minor interior detailing. This could include steps such as washing, decontaminating, polishing, applying ceramic coating, and tidying up the interior surfaces in outdoor environment as many people don't have garages😊

К чему весь этот понт с парогенератором? Крайне долго и неудобно, если брать во внимание труднодоступные участки. Что мешает обработать соединения диэлектриком, почистить всё Green Star, смыть водой без давления и в конце высушить?
Риски минимальны
какой диэлектрик порекомендуете? (просто водой дистилированной?) и что такое Green star? спасибо
Европейцы любят усложнять процесс… У него 8,5/10 машин просто пыльные.
Например за чистку кузова, шаговую полировку керамической подложкой CarPro Essence и два слоя керамики он просит 1000 Евро. Это фактически 1-1,5 дня работы. Учитывая, что у него график с 12 до 18, это пара дней
