When I started in upper secondary school a few months ago there was this adorable girl that also started in the same school (I had never met her before). I started texting her and eventually we started hanging out. I have known her for about 2 months now and every day this recent months I've been walking around thinking about her and how to tell her I like her as more than just a friend. And I've never really had a proper relationship so this area is completely new to me.
Today when we were texting she said there was something bothering her and I told her that if she wants to tell me what it is then she can. She was a bit hesitant at first and eventually she said she likes me.
I had already kinda gotten a hint that she did but I wasn't expecting it at this time. And holy shit I'm relieved that she likes me too!
If I've learnt anything, it is that if you like someone and you have even the slightest of hint that she likes you, tell her. I don't want other people to make the same mistake I made and go around thinking about someone if they like you for months when they actually do the same. It's just alot easier when you've come clean.

I don't think you should simply confess your feelings, instead you should ask them out. That way as you two hang out you can show them how you feel by talking to them, getting to know them better and flirting with them. A lot of times people just want to tell their crush they like them out of the blue and they just wait to see if their crush likes them back or not, I think it's important to be more proactive rather than reactionary.
